I'm wondering about the oil filters they are installing, as I decided to do my oil change on my Dodge Caravan this time, due to a long line at the store. The old filter that they had installed was much smaller than the one required by the manufacturer. Obviously, the one they installed must have been cheaper and is probably inferior in quality, as the oil I drained was pitch black. The quality of the oil filter is something to consider if you value your automobile. From now on, I'm doing the car's oil changed myself. I'll get better filters and better oil too, and still save $40. read more

Well I'm sure that with staffing shortages and such it's difficult to get here on time, 8:25 here waiting for an 8:00 opening staff. No one here. Three cars here waiting one already left. Hmmm staff are known to bicker in public but my oil changes are okay, just staffing issues, which can lead to car issues cuz they bickering like lil boys. So just make sure you keep eye on. Horrible!!!!!! TheDO NOT USE!!!!!! below is the email I wrote to corporate.y messed up my car and then denied doing anything wrong. Hello, I went to store 888 today for a routine oil change. I have a newer car with 79,000 miles on it. After I left and got 1 mile down the road, my car stalled and sputtered and would not restart. Panicked and furious  I called the store and told them the problem, the manager came out and he was ZERO help, He was rude and disrespectful and denied ANY wrongdoing on their part. Keep in mind I have had ZERO problems with this car until I brought it to your shop. He left me there blocking traffic and didnt even offer ANY kind of assistance! I had it towed to a competent mechanic and he will be looking at it Monday. I'm SURE he will find some wrong doing on your part. I will be initiating legal action as well as social media and in person protest.s I was out there today (see pictures) and the same manager came up to try and talk to me. I said I would be willing to go away and let the proper channels take their course if he would refund  me the day's service, He refused and called me a liar. I WANT HIM FIRED! I talked to some people outside and said they had similar negative experiences with him. Hint: look at his turnover rate. A little about myself; I am a Safety and Engineering Inspector at Boeing Aerospace. I am very active in my Union as well as social media. I have already started a social media campaign as well as my in person protests which will continue tomorrow until I receive some satisfaction.  I will make it my mission to severely impact your business until I  am treated fairly! That entails taking responsibility and paying my expenses. I have business in Everett this whole week and I will be compensated for the rental car and or hotel room as well as the UBERS  and especially the repairs to my car that I'm sure are coming. I had a great experience at this Jiffy Lube location. I had to wait about 45 minutes due to them being short staffed but I didn't mind. As I waited while the staff was on their lunch cars kept lining up behind me. I was there first. Once the staff returned from lunch the service tech noticed I was there first and called all the cars accordingly in order of arrival. I really appreciated that because I was helped first (first come, first serve.) I could tell the staff was working as a team to help all of us who were waiting. The oil change service was done quickly! All staff members were polite and helpful. I have found my oil service spot in Tacoma! I'll definitely be returning for future services. read more

Literally the rudest sales staff ever. Referred services to my car before it was even in the garage? Cabin filter before you even touch my car? Engine flush? Are these guys new?? Place was dead, zero wait, zero customers, yet still super rude. I questioned one thing, he said I could go home if I didn't like it. Place is a joke. After service, which took 5 minutes. The checklist they performed was suspect being- they didn't check tire pressure. Which I watched entire service as well as clearly never vacuum my mats. Yet both day complete. read more

When my oil change was completed I was leaving the bay and something was making noise under my car. I asked them to take a look at it and they didn't tighten my cover underneath the car . I pulled back into the bay and they apologized and did they did quality control and it's all fixed. Several days later I was in the freeway and it fell off again almost causing an accident. I spoke to the general manager at this location and he offered me a 20% discount on my next visit. WTF!!! I get an automatic 20% discount from the internet. What a lame attempt to make anything right for the customer after several failed attempts at a simple oil change. Spare me any worthless, half ass attempts at trying to provide any customer service at this point. I always use this jiffy lube for my cars, well it looks like they have a new crew...... My car was the only one in the garage and it took over 20 minutes to even give it the once over with 3 people standing there just chatting it up. They had poor communication skills and made the whole experience less than pleasant. If I see the same crew in here I will not be coming back. read more

I have been to this Jiffy Lube on multiple occasions. The bad part is I've seen many a male employee hit on female customers, at EVERY visit. I can understand a little flattery here and there, but this is borderline sexual harassment. The last time, I watched the guy at the counter say, "how old are you, man your like my dream girl...where were you when I was 23...man your just gorgeous...am I making you uncomfortable...whoa, it's hard to even talk to you right now...are you a model...." etc. etc. I was looking around for hidden cameras from some "What would you do?" type show! They also have movies playing on the TV in the lobby which have been inappropriate for kids viewing. And every-time I've been in there has been children in the lobby. So my recommendation...Go to Auto Lube & Espresso on 38th. read more

Steer clear from this place, I've been bringing my cars here for the past couple years with no issues. I brought in my new SUV for it standard oil change and this new employee said I have an oil leak. I told the employee that I just bought this vehicle and they inspected everything from top to bottom on this vehicle with no issues. The guy got an attitude with me when I told him I jus bought the vehicle and it was fully inspected had no issues. He snapped at me and said you think I'm lying? I told him just give me my receipt. I got my oil changed here this afternoon. Oil change...that is all I asked for. Before I know what is going on, they are telling me a headlight is out (it wasn't) and then showed me a filter that they said was filthy and needed replacing....it wasn't and I did not replace it. Employees are friendly enough, but don't tell me I need things I don't. I did go to Auto Zone across the street for a new bulb and the employee there said he would install it. DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE HERE To make a long story short: Took my car here once to get my oil changed, not only did they not top off any of my other fluids like they were supposed to but they also tore my air intake tube during the service and refuse to replace it or refund the service claiming that its "normal wear and tear" My first and only time going here was about 6 months ago to get my routine oil change. At first I thought that my experience wouldn't be any different from the previous jiffy lubes I've been to (I've only taken my car to jiffy lube to get my oil changed since I bought it 5 years ago) but I found out after the fact that this was not the case. Within 24 hours of getting my oil changed here my check engine light came on, seeing as I was traveling to Canada for the weekend I had to wait until I got back on the following monday to take it back to them to see what was going on. The mechanic I talked to when I took it back ran the code and said that it had something to do with my air intake and that it wasn't something they could fix but it also wasn't anything to worry about. The guy never once looked under my hood to actually see where the problem was coming from and wouldn't do anything for me. So I ended up driving around with my check engine light on for the last 6 months because I was told it wasn't a big deal and between work and school I didn't have the time to try to find a mechanic that could actually fix whatever was going on. Finally, yesterday I went into the Jiffy Lube down in Lacey because it was time to get my oil changed again and I mentioned the problems I had been having with my previous experience and lo and behold they quite easily found that my air intake tube had a GIANT tear in it from when I took my car into the Tacoma location. Of course the Lacey location couldn't do anything about it, which I completely understand, but they did help me find the part online and suggested that I go back to Tacoma to at least get them to pay for the part that they damaged, but unfortunately the mechanic that we talked to when we went back to Tacoma wanted to argue with us and claimed that my air intake being torn by their mechanics was "normal wear and tear" and refused to refund us any money or do anything about it. read more

This Jiffy Lube is completely different then the others I have been to. I was promptly greeted by friendly staff who were obviously well trained and very professional. Understood how to get me my fleet discount with no hassles and on their front sign it says we have the gift of speed 15 minutes or less and they are getting me out of here in under 15 minutes! Went there for a synthetic oil change. They try to tell me to wash my engine off for $60 I said no. So they just became very rude. Only took them 5mins to change the oil. They can't use my gift card because their system has to swipe a really card so I have to pay with my credit card. Overall experience was awful. Won't come again. read more

I've been using this place since 1987. After my last visit in November, I won't be back. Why not? They put the oil cap UPSIDE DOWN which caused oil to spray all over the engine--and I didn't discover it until I made a trip to Oregon and back. Also, they didn't reset the oil change indicator again. At a previous visit, they left a greasy rag hanging out of the hood. Things that used to be part of their service package now cost $8 more--and the window wash left the window dirtier than when I'd driven in. I brought my Mazda truck in to have a potential oil leak checked out and have them add a quart of oil. They checked the engine out, found no leak, just some condensation, and topped off my oil. When I asked what I owed them, they said, "Nothing. You're good to go." I was stunned. It's so rare to receive that kind of customer service, these days. I told them I'd buy them a coffee one day, but decided to treat them to Dominos, instead. I hope they enjoyed their pizza. read more

Absolutely the worst jiffy lube ive ever been to and i am a jiffy lube loyal customer they do not know what they are doing at this location the manager is rude and impatient payed way more than i have ever paid for a oil change in my life talking about i can get a discount if i use cash they over filled my transmission fluid and when i asked then to drain it to the proper level they tried to charge me as if there getting a cut or something i dont know if this is a privately owned jiffy lube but this location is run by crooks i would not recommend you going here even if your car was on fire read more

April 29th went to 72nd & Pacific location for an oil change -sign on the side of the building reads price matching -pulled Groupon-husband told a customer in front of him about it and the gentleman got the price match. My husband next in line mentioned same coupon and Chelsea said begrudgingly "I'll do it for you but we need a paper copy." My husband graciously offered to take the sign down and Chelsea said "I was being nice to you, but you know what, no , forget it! "and called for service to stop mid way on his vehicle, cap removed etc,then asked my husband to LEAVE! We have been coming this location for over 10 years !!! This incident is appalling,inappropriate, and unprofessional. The only difference between my husband and the customer in front of him was that he is caucasian. I had my oil changed by a different Jiffy Lube two weeks ago. Went to help a friend out and my car started steaming and leaking all my coolant fluid out of my car. I called this Jiffy Lube off of Pacific and 72nd and had my car towed there. Not knowing what happened, the Manager Pat looked at my car and showed me that my hose for my coolant had popped off. He was able to put it back on and fill back up the fluid, plus check and make sure everything was running right before I left. He also was able to order me a new oil dip stick due to mine had got broken somehow when it got serviced last (not from this location). I appreciate what Pat has done for me and want others to know. These shops are not made for major mechanical problems but this manager was able to help in my case, and keep me calm at that. I am grateful to know there are nice honest people out there and they enjoy there jobs. read more

I took my 2003 GMC Envoy XL into this location on a Sunday morning. I will NEVER return to this Jiffy Lube location, or based on the service from this location, any other mechanic that is not the GM dealer. I went in for a basic oil change, as the dealership was scheduling to far out. I got great service from the gentleman at the counter on this visit, as well as, my return visit. However, I did not have an oil leak when I went in. However, they told me during this visit that I have an oil leak. I said ok, and was thinking 'I have to talk to my husband.' My husband confirmed that we didn't have an oil leak prior to getting our oil changed. Our driveway and my work was clear of oil, as was any place we parked prior to this oil change, nor did we ever have to add oil between oil changes. That has all changed with this oil change. I went in on Tuesday after the oil change (which was yesterday) and they looked at my car and said that there is no oil leak, it is only a half quart low on oil (three days after the oil change) and and that it is a power steering that is leaking. However, we have oil all over our drive way, and leave oil anywhere we park. It is my husbands day off (and he is mechanically inclined but prefers older vehicles) and he told me our power steering is fine (and we are not low on fluid) but there is still oil leaking from my car all over my driveway. I won't return, nor will I trust another mechanic other than the dealer. read more
