I've been to jiffy lube multiple times but this time the service was oddly horrible. I'm sure they changed my oil but that's all they did- they didn't show me my air filter I don't think they even checked it. When I got my receipt it claimed that they checked my tire pressures and checked my wiper blades etc. which they didn't. They didn't tell me if any of my fluids were low and added to either. This is the worst Jiffy I've been to and by saying they completed certain tasks when I know they didn't makes me uncomfortable with the entire service. read more

I stopped here today at this Jiffy Lube location. I drive a 2016 Chevy Spark. It does use full synthetic so I'm used to paying a little more. I pulled in and was met by an older gentleman. He seemed annoyed that I was there and told me it would cost me 95.00. What?! That's more costly than a Chevy Dealership. This is ridiculous. Avoid this place. It's a rip off!!! read more

I'm not usually one to pay double to have my oil done in fifteen minutes, but a couple times, like before a road trip i would have no choice. one time everything was just fine, everyone was pleasant. but i hate the nonsense of them pulling you out to your car, lifting your hood and giving the rehearsed, ten times a day spiel about needing a new air filter, windshield wipers, windshield fluid..blah blah blah. one time in the spiel i totally thought the guy said that my "cabin pressure" was off. when i interrupted to ask "did you just say cabin pressure?" he was so taken off guard that i was listening to everyone word, he didn't know what to say. anyway, not a fan of this location read more

There's really nothing JIFFY about this Jiffy Lube. Came here for an oil change on a weekday and the whole process took at least 2 hours. I definitely didn't expect that. Good thing I had my cell phone and could catch up with friends. No problems with the service overall and the manager did allow me to use my student discount by showing him my ASU email address (I have yet to make a student card, bc I'm lazy) They didn't try and sell unnecessary car treatments which I appreciated. There were at least 2 other cars before me, so I suppose I should have made an appointment or called ahead. However, I really think the process could have been a bit quicker. read more

Visited my local Jiffy Lube on Warner Ave. in Ahwatukee to get an oil change. Had been getting them at another repair facility, as well as the dealership where I bought my Denali, but thought I would see what their offering was and how it compared pricewise to the marketplace. Very friendly group of guys, and got my car in the door rather quickly. The shock came with the price that these friendly faces offered - The oil change and filter was $115. Granted they check over all the fluids etc. which all providers do, but that price was 25% higher than my local dealership, (yes the dealership was even less expensive !!) and 30% higher than the other repair facility. I appreciate the staff...but buyer beware...there are cheaper, yet quality orientated options out in our neighborhood. read more

I was holding off to write this review just to see how things played out with my car, well a year after it happened I decided to rate this business. I went to this Jiffy Lube just for an oil change. You would think its just a normal oil change, oil filter, maybe check the tire's pressure right?.... Well totally the opposite, the "manager" himself came over to me and told me my car was pretty much in super bad shape, that there is no way I can continue driving that car any longer and if I did, the car WILL leave me stranded. He said that the front driver side wheel bearing was totally destroyed and will not hold up any longer. Of course the total cost of repair would be around $700 dlls and that repair was a MUST. I asked to see the bearing myself and it had a minimal damage but nothing to worry about, really. He looked at me like if I was crazy said "Well, that's very irresponsible to do, I would hate to let you go with a car in that shape" He assured my car will not run for more than a week and gave me a $200 dls discount on the spot if I accepted to have the job done. That really gave me a very odd feeling and confirmed all suspicions that they were just trying to rip me off. Unfortunately, that place is right next to a huge university and if they couldn't get me, they will get others that don't know squat about cars. That manager should get fired, but that's just the way Jiffy Lube works sometimes If you have the time, just change the oil yourself. All you need is synthetic oil, an oil pan (go to wal-mart), a new oil filter, an oil filter wrench, and a regular wrench. Ohh and the car to be cool. I will NEVER use them again!! The price that was quoted was NOT honored! nor where any of the complimentary items preformed. No communication that the filter needed for my car was not a stock item so an additional charge. When I questioned the price as to why it was so expensive that's the price we don't carry that filter. Extremely rude! Please don't waste your money on services here. I would have been far cheaper going to the dealer for service. Lesson learned. One star is way more than they deserved!! W0o-hoo! I am a fan... BUT note the review is for a WINDSHIELD CHIP REPAIR only. My insurance does not cover windshield replacement so I was left to find a place that could do a chip repair. The chip was a little bigger than a quarter. A friend recommended Safelite and Diamond Glass. Safelite quoted me $79.95 online!! There is no guarantee the windshield won't crack so that was way too much to pay. Diamond Glass was only $19.99! They contract the work out to the local Jiffy Lube. I drove up, 30 minutes later the chip was repaired! BONUS.., they offer a 10% ASU DISCOUNT on all services and there is no tax so I ended up paying $17.99 out the door! read more

I badly needed an oil change and my back tires filled with air and was frantic to find a place that could take me in today last minute, before my work week begins tomorrow. My mom recommended Jiffy Lube, a place to which I had never been before. I raced over there and there was a zero wait time, which is baffling to me now considering what I have to say about this place next. I pulled into their garage and they immediately started working on my car, checking for obvious problems with it and of course fulfilling both my needs that brought me there. They were very knowledgeable in answering all my oil-related questions as well. And they even cleaned my windshield!! I got to stay in my car while they serviced it, and in just TEN quick minutes, I was all set to leave. I AM SO AMAZED WITH THIS PLACE RIGHT NOW!!!!! Not only was this place super quick and convenient, but everyone to whom I spoke there who was working on my car was extremely polite, courteous, and professional. Usually at any type of shop that has to do with maintaining cars, the people who work there are oftentimes unscrupulous. But not at all at this Jiffy Lube! After my experience with them today, I will definitely keep coming back. I am forever a Jiffy Lube fan for life now. When I woke up today, I was so stressed out about taking care of my car's needs today, and all that stress was for nothing thanks to these guys. I'm incredibly happy now. I'm very thankful for the store's manager. I went for an oil change and the service was very good as expected. While I was waiting, another customer backed up onto my car, creating an ugly dent. The customer not only refused to admit the fault but accused me of putting a dent on my own car to accuse him. Thankfully, the store manager saw the incident and took the time to write a witness testimony for me. I filed a claim and got a new bumper without issue. Very thankful for the manager. read more

I am very pleased with the services I received on Saturday. My vehicle needed an oil change and the breaks inspected. I was pleased to know that now they have the staff to handle break jobs. So I had them evaluate my Honda, instead of going to a second place for that service. They did a great job in explaining to me that the front brakes needed to be done but I could wait on the rear breaks since they still had some padding. I decided to have both the rear and the front done, but again no one pressured me nor put the fear in me. Everything was explained to me line item by line item, and everything was itemized. Also they accept your AAA card, so they gave me a AAA discount, which save me $70 dollars alone, and I was pleased with the warranty on the breaks too. I will be taking by second vehicle to be serviced here as well. I highly recommend this location. The current management and team are great to work with. read more

So I waited 3 days to post a review so that I wasn't posting out of anger. That being said I'm still slightly annoyed. I go to jiffy lube because I care more about my time then saving a few bucks. Yes I could get the exact same work done elsewhere for less. But then you're stuck sitting in an awful waiting room for hours on end. 3 things stand out about my recent visit. 1. I was the first one in the open bay. 1 car was being worked on already in the other bay. There was 4 techs working. Yet an oil change and air filter change took just shy of an hour!!! 2. When I pulled in I said I need an oil change and tire rotation. The manager asked what type of oil I said synthetic. He said "synthetic for your truck will be $84 and the rotation is $19.99" I said cool let's do the air filter since we are here. He said it was 24 bucks and I said just change it cause I don't want to deal with it. Few minutes later he calls me up and says OK it will be 150. I said cool and I have a $20 coupon. He said great give it at the end. 40 minutes later he calls me up and says they couldn't rotate the tires because they were worn. Now I'm pissed. It's a new truck with only 20,000 miles. I ask him to show me and points out a DIRTY LINE as why they are saying the tires are worn. I realize he is incompetent and shut my mouth. 15 more minutes pass by and he says all set. Price is 150.... I said wait a second if you couldn't rotate the tires how is the price still the same. He said there's an additional charge for oil. I said bull shiz, you knew what the truck was when you quoted the price earlier. So he agreed to add another coupon. How about just be HONEST up front. 3. Almost an hour later I drive away annoyed. I quickly notice they didn't clean my windshield. I grab the invoice and clearly it says they cleaned it as part of their courtesy nonsense. Well that was a lie. I had driven to show low the day before and every dead bug was still clearly there. Then to add insult to injury they didn't even put a reminder sticker in the windshield. All in all, SLOW services. I'm used to doing my own oil changes and tire rotations, but lack the equipment currently to do it myself so I came here instead. I hadn't made a reservation, as "walk ins are welcomed", When I got there I had waited at the front desk for 20-25 minutes before I was even acknowledged, finally someone asked me what I needed, I told them an oil change was all I needed, they said pull around and the wait would be about an hour and a half, okay cool, totally do-able. I pulled my car around and someone came to my car to inform me again about how long the wait was and I was okay with it. I didn't want to wait in my turned off car in 100+ degree weather so I decided to head inside and wait. Just as I sit I was informed "you can't wait in here". Which I didn't understand as there wasn't a single sign posted anywhere that said you can't wait in the waiting room. I was informed it's because "there wasn't enough room" (nobody else was in there either) which I think is silly, I get its after COVID and taking precautions, but at least post signs stating this to make could have been customers aware. I left deciding to taking my business elsewhere; I would recommend to take your business elsewhere too; unless you want to have a heatstroke in your car and want to deal with some of the worst customer service. Hopefully things will change sooner than later, especially with the customer service and attitude from the employees. read more

On January 23rd I received an email from Jiffy Lube with two printable coupons attached, one for $14 off of a signature oil change, the other 15% off any additional service done. I saw this as a good opportunity to get some maintenance done so on January 24th I went to my local Jiffy Lube at the address above, a location I've been visiting since around 2003, and got an oil change and two additional services done. Upon checkout I was quoted a price of 65.63, I mentioned a had a coupon for $14 off of the oil change but was told I could not use it. I asked why and was told this particular store ran it's own special discounts and no others could be used because of it. I asked what the special was and was told it was $10 off of the oil change, I said my coupon was worth more than that and I would rather use it, I was told no. I then said okay, and mentioned my 15% off additional services that I would like to use instead, again I was told no because of the mandatory $10 off that the store had no choice but to issue. I asked why Jiffy Lube would email me coupons that I was not allowed to use and was told "I don't know, that's the way it works". This is the kind of garbage these oil places get away with every day, and I'm tired of it. For years I've been wanting to review this place with a star or two but ten minute oil changes are so convenient, well I'm done, I'll wait from now on, and my treatment today earned them a complaint with the Better Business Bureau... way to be Jiffy Lube, I hope all of this trouble is worth the four dollars you saved. read more

I used to be a fan of Jiffy Lube because the service is usually quick and affordable. Plus, they also fill up your tires. But lately, it's turned into a long process where they usually try to sell me on something after I've been waiting for an hour. I always say no and just stick to the oil change. The guy at the front desk was very condescending on the phone and when I arrived. They only actually changed my oil but marked they put a new filter in and vacuumed/cleaned windows. I thought my coolant was low but they said the fluids were all fine. Well I checked again today. No coolant at all and my engine is running hot. Awesome job guys! read more

Did anyone else see the expose they did on Jiffy Lube on the local California news channel? Someone sent me the vid on YouTube, I think, so if you want to hear about why never to go here, check it out. The crux of it is they scam a large percentage of their customers. Now I'm sure that there was a big crackdown after the viral effect of that news story, but I am hard pressed to believe that it doesn't happen at all anymore. Changing filters, running specialized machines, etc. are hard to track the concrete effects of and whether they actually did or not. Seriously, I would only go here and purchase something beyond a simple oil change if I personally knew the employee. Otherwise, prepare to get way overcharged for work that they said they did but probably didn't. It's a crazy mixed up world out there, kids. read more

Rough. Went in for an oil change. 42 is expensive but didn't have a wait. Now I know why. They drained my oil and then told me it would be 78 had to get crappy oil and still pay in the 70s after being visibly upset and arguing about it. Tried to get my oil change and tires rotated on my truck here today, but I decided against it because apparently one of their jacks is broken. That means that they only have one jack, which is being used all the time, which means that its probably about to break as well. So I paid way too much to get my oil changed, probably got sold stuff I didn't need and while I read the other reviews I know its true. They told me i needed this and I needed that, OK FINE I'll get it, cause the honest truth is I don't take as good of care of my car as I should. I knew they were full of it because when they went over everything on the car that was fine, they said my windshield whippers and I for a fact know that I've needed to replaced them for the last 2 years (and still haven't). Which makes me question them because if they're trying to get their moneys worth, wouldn't they at least check that out? So maybe they just tell everyone the same thing and try and rip you off. So I won't go here again and I'll heed my boyfriends nagging and let him decide where to get it changed and use as many coupons as he wants. read more

This is the worst place ever. They don't even deserve 1 star. I went to get my Oil changed they recommended I have my battery cleaned as well. My car was then stuck in 4wheel drive.
