I've called multiple times and it is almost laughable how bad they write me off-- fail to even ask for my name and number and refuse to call back to assure me they will make it right. DO NOT GET YOUR VEHICLE SERVICED HERE!!! I have gone to OTHER Jiffy Lube location and never experienced as much of a headache as I have since moving to Tooele County! My vehicle worked prior to a routine oil change and break fluid "replacement". When they pulled it out of the bay it "stalled" they failed to mention I couldn't shift into any gears other than neutral & park - I had to get in my vehicle and try to leave before I realized it didn't just stall it no longer worked. They also came to get my keys half way through the service - how did my vehicle get in the bay if I have my keys? The person I spoke with today told me that my car has a far range of where the keys can be and the car can still be driven FALSE and I'm happy to provide proof that if you take they keys as far as just outside the vehicle it will beep and say "no key detected." I then had to pay for my vehicle to be towed to a local mechanic because the service manager informed me "we don't work on hybrids" - which why touch my car to begin with? I've now had to pay for over $2k in repairs on a vehicle that worked prior to bringing it here on top of getting my break fluid REDONE!! I will never be returning to this location if you don't know how hybrid vehicles work don't work on them. And please do send me the videos of you working on my vehicle! Yeah, these guys did not do a good job with my car. They stripped the bolts, bent my skid plate, and only installed my drain plug halfway. I was told after my oil change that my 2018 Dodge truck was leaking oil but they couldnt find the leak. The dealership after a 4 hour wait told me the only leak they could find from the dye they put in my oil was coming from around the oil filter, not tightened. When I called the manager he wanted my milage and questioned why it took me 2 weeks to get into dealership. I told him thats when they scheduled me. If this was the only time Jiffy Lube in Tooele messed up I wouldnt complain but a few years ago they stripped the plug in my oil pan. These Tooele employees are totally incompetent. I wouldnt of given them even 1 star if I had a choice. I would suggest going to another location instead of taking a chance on this local incompetent. read more

This was probably one of the better Jiffy Lubes I have been too. They were friendly, but not that "jiffy". Even though they were not that busy when I arrived (on a weekday, mid day) it took quite a while to get in and out. They didn't try so hard to upsell me stuff, prob cause I have a newer car, and they did a good job with the services rendered. I do feel like they are overpriced for the service they give, as you can get better service and more reliable results from a local auto shop for around the same price. read more

Recently when I went in they forgot to re-secure the screws on my skid plate. When we returned they gave us attitude about fixing the mistake and didn't offer a discount. Really disappointing service. I wrote it off as a freak incident, and returned for my next service. They tried to sell me new filters even though they were recently replaced. I said no thanks but asked to shake the dust and leaves our before returning them. They said they'd take care of it. Watching from the window, I saw they didn't. Walked out to catch them before it was too late and the mgr (Matt) who was putting them back in gave me a bunch of attitude. Time to find a new lube service. read more

Just terrible. Absolutely terrible. A year ago, my wife got the oil in her car changed here. It was $44 after their $15 off coupon on the website. Nothing special about the oil change, just a standard run of the mill. They didn't change the oil filter, and I'm wondering if they even changed the oil before charging her. She now has it done by Walmart for $29.99, which, ironically, is in the exact same parking lot. Fast forward to present day, and I'm trying to get a safety inspection done on my car. I went in five times over the month. The first time, they were busy. "Sorry, it'll be about two hours. No, we don't do appointments, so you'll just have to be here when we're ready for you." Okay, that's fair. It was a Saturday morning. The second and third attempts, both during the week, were met with the same thing: "It'll be about two hours." Every time, there's anywhere from 6 to 12 cars throughout this tiny parking lot. On the fourth time, the parking lot was practically empty. When I asked how long to get a safety inspection done (NOT emissions, just safety), I was told that they couldn't do it. "Sorry, I'm going home for the day. You'll have to come back another time." For those of you playing the home game, a safety inspection takes 15 minutes, and apparently that was too much time for him to go into overtime with. Because it was becoming such a trial to get the inspection done here or anywhere else, I had to get an extension. Now into the next month, I roll in right when they open on a Sunday morning, only to find out that they've been taking customers for half an hour before they open. The wait time is now nearly 3 hours, and as before, I just have to be there when they're ready for me. Can I leave my car and come back? Sure, the kid behind the computer says. Just roll your window down half way, leave the keys on the seat, leave your paperwork on the dashboard, and park at the end of the parking lot, and we'll get to it "sometime today." No, they didn't ask for a name, a phone number, or an address. They didn't even ask which car was mine. In short, I could have gone to school to learn how to do safety inspections and done it myself in the time I wasted trying to get this hogwash company to take care of it. I should've learned my lesson when they drastically overcharged for the oil change, but I assure you that after essentially being told to leave my car in the parking lot with a huge sign on it that says "STEAL ME," I'm not only done with this particular location, but Jiffy Lube in general. Have had several problems with Tooele Jiffy Lube. Last month I took a vehicle for inspection they didn't pass it for a ticky tack brake light at the top of my rear window. I went home and changed it and went back and they passed it. The problem came when I got to the DMV and had someone else's paperwork. They gave me someone else's passed inspection which means someone else got mine too. Fast forward to today: we took our Jeep in for an inspection today and got a huge runaround. When we said no to up charges and questioned them on the inspection because they again failed this vehicle for the same light and suddenly they are pulling tires and getting out calipers to check brakes to find more to fail. Guess what they "found" something. Bunch of crooks. Save yourself time and heartache and go elsewhere! read more

These guys are so under educated. I have to tell them how to check things. I used to work for jiffy lube (at another location) I asked them to fill the overflow tank and also the radiator with antifreeze. When I got home it was the wrong kind and they didn't even fill the radiator. (Mind you the car was cold.I had not driven far) incompetent workers is a big problem. We've gone here six times since moving to this area in October. The first time they upsold me on something I found out later was not necessary for our vehicle. Shame on me for allowing it and not researching it more. Shame on them for insinuating I did need it. The next four times, we went to have vehicles inspected. Did take longer than expected but not a huge deal. Do wish they had a comfortable waiting room. Is uncomfortably cold in there. Today we went to get an oil change. They were not real busy. Went in and a gentleman was waiting on another customer. Another customer came in. A technician came in from working on a vehicle and asked him if he could help him, completely ignoring me. The guy said he was coming in for an oil change. I understand the tech may not have noticed me but the other worker could have pointed out I was first OR the tech could have asked. The employees need some retraining and the waiting room needs improvement. I would have given them one star but the inspections were pretty painless, except for being cold even with our coats on in the waiting room. read more

Well I needed to come back in and revise my rating. I originally gave this Jiffy Lube a 2 star because we went in for safety inspections which went fine but then they said we needed our fluid replaced on the brakes. Somehow afterwards the brake alarm kept sounding off every time we used our car. We took it back in and they said they couldn't do anything about it and offered us 10% off at a random place for an oil change which seemed was pretty useless. But after I wrote the earlier review they did reach out and not too long after the brake alarm just suddenly stopped sounding off. So I felt I should give them the benefit of the doubt and blame some weird glitch. Since everything else went pretty smoothly I thought I'd come back in and give them a better rating. Absolutely awful. Slow service. Nothing from their checklist was completed. Windows not cleaned, vehicle not vacuumed, wiper fluid not full. And to top it they didn't reset the switch for the oil change. So my vehicle still shows maintenance required. I do not recommend this business. read more
