I drove in to Jiffy Lube at Speedway and Sycamore mid morning on a Tuesday with the truck I'd recently bought. Jacob was informative, professional, when I explained time was a factor he was quick. I got the oil/lub/filter I walked in for, a new air filter to replace the dirty one they showed me, a new fuel filter (because they said it would only take another 5-6 minutes and it did) and a list of all the manufacturer-recommended maintenance schedules. On my way out they took the time to diagnose a misadjusted windshield wiper and fix it... without charging me anything. On top of all of that, they said my total repair qualified for a discount of $50 and gave it to me without my having to do anything, say anything, clip a coupon, dance on one foot, or remember a password. Almost a year after after I got my car, an oil change was well overdue. But the last thing I wanted was to get lectured and told of everything that was "wrong" with my car. So today I finally decided to take it ti get an oil change. Sunday afternoon, and this place had no wait at all. I was quickly greeted and escorted into the small but comfortable waiting room. After about 15 minutes, an employee came and gave me the whole maintenance rundown. Tried to up sell me on the oil type and recommended a bunch of costly maintenance concerns to me. Ok. I get it. It's hus job. I oolitely declined and he didnt out any more pressure on which was appreciated. I was done in about 10 minutes after that. My only gripe is that they automatically selected the "signature" oil change where they top off all your fluids and vacuum the unside of the car. .. all I wanted though was the economical $21.99 oil change and they didn't really give me the option of going with that one.. They just "did" the 29.99 one.. but.. they threw on an extra $2 that they didn't tell me about because my SUV is 4x4. I will be back to this location, because it was super fast and convenient. I think the main key is to let them know up front which package you want. I went on a Sunday afternoon and I was in and out in less than a half hour! read more

Needed a oil change on a Sunday, pulled in to this Jiffy Lube and was instantly greeted by the team. Friendly, fast and efficient should be the motto for these guys. Waiting area is clean, water and coffee are available and the oil change was completed before I could finish looking through a magazine. I stopped in late on a Friday afternoon, around 515pm, for an oil change and was promptly and professionally greeted by a technician by the name of David. Within a half hour, my car was processed, my oil was changed, and I was on my way. This has been my experience with every Jiffy Lube across the board, which I appreciate. They get 5 stars for offering a good product/service at a reasonable rate and done in a professional manner. My only gripe with them is their propensity for up-selling, something that tends to mark the automotive repair/service industry as a whole, and is not altogether unexpected at this point. While my old car might possibly benefit from receiving the services they recommended (IE, Engine Flush, Transmission Flush, High-Mileage Oil Change), a second opinion from a highly-qualified mechanic revealed that the services recommended for my car were not, in fact, nearly as important to get as I was led to believe. To consumers: Jiffy Lube is excellent for many reasons... but know what you're getting into before you go... Make certain your car does indeed require servicing in the ways recommended by your Jiffy Lube technician. read more

In the last year we have gone twice to get our oil changed at this location. The first time they did not check the fluid in the transfer case and it was dry . Then most recently they put in the wrong oil filter. We have an F150 8 Cyl. and they put a Chevy Truck Filter on. read more

So far it has been one of my best experiences at Jiffy Lube. I was doing a cross-country roadtrip and needed an oil change in Tucson. Since I stayed at LaQuinta Reid Park, this was the closest jiffy lube around the area. The employee was very friendly and informative. They went thru the list with me and explained everything I needed to know about my car. The service was very fast. I was there about 20 mins and my car was ready for me. Today I was driving by and saw the staff outside with no wait signs so I stopped for an oil change. They proceeded to try to upsale everything. They brought both my internal h-vac air filter and my engine air filter showing me how dirty they were and needed changing. I asked them to just tap the internal one before putting it back in because it had a bunch of debris on it and I will change it myself. The man at the counter acted annoyed with me. Verging on rude. He went back outside. When I drove away and turned back on my air the vibration in my dash was bad. I thought what did the do when putting the filter back. So I pulled my glove box and the filter and all the lint debris was still there I asked them to tap off. I have a 2013 car and they did something because the fan was now vibrating like an off balanced wash machine. I slid my camera phone in and took a picture. My h-vac fan was now full of dried up cactus. Are you kidding me! I had to drop the fan to clean out their mess! Never again will I patronize their facility. They think because your a woman your stupid. read more

After being greeted by a super friendly worker. We were treated absolutely terribly by everyone else at this location. The larger white man doing another oil change on a vehicle that wasn't even ours continued to bark orders at me and give me bad looks. I have never felt so uncomfortable in a professional environment!! It seemed like everyone at this location was effected by this one mans terrible attitude. I left. I would not ever go back. The service is impeccable, excellent system to ensure that nothing is overlooked (correct amount of oil, oil cap and plug on tight, oil filter replaced, etc), usual short queue and the oil change service in minimal time!! And who wants to get under a car in the HOT desert? What's not to like? COST. A 5-star rating gets kicked down to 2, because of very high cost. A trip to Jiffy Lube had cost approx $28. With the advent of synthetics (I'm a believer) the oil is much more expensive... but not that expensive. Now a trip to JL cost $85 and that with a $10 discount! In addition to heightened cost of the Platinum 0W-20 at $40 and a filter for $10, I am charged a $40 ($39.99) "Signature Service" charge. So, where is the customer value proposition for about 3x the cost for only twice the distance? In another words, the synthetic route at JL will cost you much more than the extra miles you might gain. The Signature Service charge at $40 is simply too high. I'll will buy the same Penn oil for $25 at Walmart and a filter for $6 and pay $10 for a hoist charge at a local auto hobby shop (TOTAL $41) - until - Jiffy Lube gets smarter about the Signature Service charge. read more

Long story short: I had to be in Phoenix by 10 am on a Monday. My car was acting weird and needed oil, but we couldn't get the cap open. So I went to this Jiffy Lube at 7 (as soon as it opened). I'm so impressed by Shane and Richard. I told them I needed to be out by 730 at the latest. My car is older and needed a little more work (an engine clean, new fuel filter, etc). Richard quoted me 730. He had me out the door at 729. They were super nice about everything, and took great care of me. They even let the air out of my tires (as they were over inflated). My review is specifically for this location and for Richard Juhl(tat rocker dude) whom is greatly missed......I normally would take my car to him only, but he no longer is at this location. If anyone knows where Richard is now, please let me know as I have followed him, not in a stalker way ;=0}. None of the cool and sweet guys that used to work at this location, work there anymore, and the place has lost its happy attitude. The guys that work there now are pretty much "jerky"....10/13/15 went in for my reg oil change and forgot to print out the coupon that I received in an email...I told the guy that and he didn't really acknowledge my dilemma nor give me the discount..so rather than the sig. oil change and the TOTAL upgrade, I opted for the minimal option, (I think I paid more for this than I should have) with no extras, anyway, dude was not happy that I didn't opt for the upgrade and gave me really inferior treatment and service with an attitude. I went in the other day for a top off and the guy was again pretty nonpersonable and in a matter of fact way told me, after the fact, that if i had needed any fluids I would be charged because I didn't pay for the upgraded oil change......2 days later, I checked my fluids, just for the heck of it, and found that I had no wiper fluid and was a quart low on transmission oil.....so my assumption is that when I went in for the top off, no one really checked anything......with so many other places to get your oil changed and given these guys don't seem to want my business, I will go to another place/competitor....... read more
