I had called them 3 times and they always sounded cheerful and helpful on the phone. I went in about 5:30 and they took me right in. The oil change itself took about 15 minutes. I asked if they check the fluids in the car and said they do. When I went to use my window washer there was no fluid in it. Also when I looked at my messges on my dash it said "change oil soon". Isn't that what they just did? Anyway with my son's help, we reset the car computer. Also my friend had to use the restroom and they said out of order til further notice. That seemed odd considering they have people waiting there while their car gets done. Anyway....I won't be going back there. read more

Worst customer service. They quickly did my oil change. They didn't even check fluids or top of any fluids. They just rushed through it and they weren't even busy I was their only customer!!! By the way I had to ask them to check my tire pressure. Workers didn't even bother vacuuming my car or wiping windows. The receipt said customer declined when they never even asked. Lazy workers. I have trusted this place to do their job with changing my car oil but they have failed to do that. Not only did they not tell me that the dipstick was rusty, metal parties was going into my pipe, they did not put enough oil, they did not change 3 of my O-rings, they used the wrong filter and oil. Not only did they not do their job their Manager John was rude when being spoken to. When saying about this issue he mentioned " Once I am clocked out Idk what happens!" So you mean to tell me that you are a manager but you just clock in and out, and not care if your staff has done their job? So for their negligence I am paying over 2k in repairs. If you do not know how to change a Mercedes oil then they could have said it. John was not helpful and did not even show concern and did not apologize. I just stopped by for a regular oil change. Really, I could do it myself but I didn't want to get my hands dirty. Immediately I was greeted and serviced. (Car service you sicko!) They topped off all of my fluids. And gave me premium synthetic oil. And they were super quick!! During my wait, I was eying the complementary coffee. But I didn't go for it. A+ for the speed and customer service. 40$ for my total. Not bad! I guess if you want a quick non appointment oil change, come here! And take a sippy sip of the free coffee! read more

I called in the morning and spoke with a guy about getting a tune up. He couldn't give me a quote because he needed more specifics about the car. He was very friendly over the phone, so I decided to drive over. When I got there, everyone was super nice and helpful. He told me my car would take a couple hours and to come back. When I came back, the manager helped me and she was so nice. She was friendly to everyone coming in and out of the store and checked on everyone to make sure they were being helped I had been there several years in the past and had a horrible experience. This is the only jiffy lube in Vallejo and is located in a shopping center with a grocery store, smoke shop, various food places, gym, and Starbucks. Pros: the staff is rather friendly (although it's all men), the waiting area is clean and offers free coffee (from a keruig) and water. Cons: the line can be really extensive, I waited well over an hour to get a top off (not even an oil change) due to uber cars being serviced at the same time. I saw those cars come after me and leave before me several times. read more

I've been taking my car to Jiffy Lube for a long time. Not again! This last time I took it in, about a month ago, I pulled up & they had get out of my car & they pulled it in. I went inside the office to tell them what I wanted them to do. There was a guy in the office, but as I came in the customer entrance, he went out the side door where the guys do the oil changing. Finally, he came back in & he said that they were done & it came to a total of $108 & some change. I asked what did they do since I hadn't been asked what I wanted done. "Oh, since your car has over 90,000 miles on it, we went ahead & filled it with synthetic oil. Okay, fine. I paid & left. As I'm driving away I noticed that floor hadn't even been vacuumed (which is supposed to come with the oil change). So, I turned around and went back. I pull up, the guy walks up to my car & I told him that they hadn't vaccumed my car. He said, " Oh, we don't do that because of COVID". I said, "Are you effing kidding me?!". He just walked away. I've brought my vehicle multiple times and have always had a pleasant experience. It's quick and thorough. Each time I go, the techs are very polite and patient. I wanted to take a moment and give specific recognition to John. I was having some issues with my vehicle, but he has been very transparent and took any type of ownership in regards to any oil issues. I took my car for a full tune-up i paid 250.00 when i took my car there i had on no check engine light my car drove excellent that night when i got ready to go to work i turned on the heater it was blowing out cold air then the next day i was like my car was gasping to drive. I called ask for a manager but of course he was on vacation(had to wait a week) he comes back ask to see the car so he came to my house (he told me if he think its jiffy lube fault they would pay for repairs) but i call them later on that afternoon and he said it wasn't there fault. I will be taking them to small claims court so if anybody else needs the paperwork to file for small claims court PLEASE DON'T HESITATE TO EMAIL ME..... I rarely ever give Yelp reviews but I have to put Jiffy Lube on blast for what they tried to pull today. I don't know if everybody who works there is Shady and trying to rip people off but this girl with braids who works there definitely is. First off, a man walked in and asked how much an oil change for his Honda Civic would cost. Without even asking what year or model of the Honda Civic was, she said it would have to be synthetic oil and it would cost him $65. The price chart is on the wall and synthetic oil is actually $90 and most Honda Civics don't even need synthetic oil anyways, the $65 price was for high mileage oil but he never even told her how many miles were on it or what year the car was. He even said he just wanted the $45 oil change and she said they can't do that because his car needs synthetic oil. That's total bull and she knows it. She was just trying to upsell him. I followed him outside and told him she's trying to rip him off and to demand the $45 oil change no matter what they say. Secondly, she tried ripping me off by convincing me that I would save more money with my 15% coupon than with my $15 off coupon. When she tallied up the total, I asked her to show me the screen so I can see how much money I saved and it said I only saved $10. Rather than ask her why she lied and put her on blast, I just wanted to get out of there and told her I want to use the $15 off coupon. I will never be coming here again for anything and I highly advise against anyone else coming here unless you want them to try ripping you off. read more

I took my car in for an oil change. All seemed normal until a part of my car fell off on my road trip. Came to find out that the part that fell off was a part that this Jiffy Lube had to remove to conduct the oil change. When I brought it back to this location, the manager very rudely denied ever touching that piece and even hung up on me when I tried to call in the next day. The manager refused to meet or talk with me again about the issue, so I ended up going to a different shop instead. The worst customer service experience I have ever had. read more

I brought in my car for an oil change today. This is one of the first GREAT experiences with my car. I drove up and a chicka came to my door and asked, "Will you be getting our Signature 'something something' oil Change today?" I said - YES! She escorted me to the lounge and asked me to feel free to browse thru the magazines. Perpared, I had a book in my purse. There were 2 cars in front of me, but after 10 minutes, the lady called me to give the estimate. She was really prompt on explaining what I needed and gave me no pressure at all if I didn't want an option. I signed the estimate and she told me it should be done in 15 minutes. 5 minutes passed, and a male worker came by and gave me a big smile. I smiled back. He asked if my car was raided by a candy factory. I started bawlin! I was like, "Oh man, my daughter got a hold of Jelly Beans and chips . . . and it was history" I appologized for the mess. He said . . . it's cool, that's what kids do! I then looked up at the board of what the oil change included. It came with free vaccuming AND window cleaning! HELLS YEAH! I was long due for a vaccum. (obviously) They did such a good job too - better than what I could do. 10 minutes later, the lady came back and told me that there was nothing else that needs to be done and that everything is checked / filled. Since my Fiance's dad goes here too, I mentioned. She happily gave me a $5.00 discount! I was so happy to pay. I then commented, the one out in Concord doesn't do all this. She said, we always get complaints from them. I said. . . ohh . . . . *thinking - another due yelp review* They then pulled out my car, the kept the door open for me and with a smile, she said, "You're car's already turned on. See you again Soon!" I sat in . . . reminding myself the car's already on (good touch!) and buckled up drove away and said, damn, if only every business could be that nice. . . . Yahoo. I decided to finally get a long-overdue oil change today, and I must say, I was quite pleased with my experience at Jiffy Lube. To begin with, when I pulled up, I was greeted by two women, which somehow gave me peace of mind. I suppose that makes me sexist, but I'm being honest here. I left the car with them and sat in the lobby area, drinking water and reading Vogue. One of the women called me up to the desk and gave me my estimate. She asked me if I wanted to do some extra stuff, and gave me no pressure when I declined the tire rotation. The car was ready 10 minutes after signing the estimate. This should be expected, but I like the fact that Jiffy Lube keeps all your information in their comps, so they know what they did for you and when. One minus for them, however, was that they only offered styrofoam cups for both the water and coffee in the waiting area. Who still uses styrofoam cups, I ask you? Great experience - I vow to get my oil changed on schedule from now on. read more

Took my truck in for an oil change because I don't have time to do it myself this time. Guy tells me "you have to use synthetic or you'll blow up the motor". I insist on regular oil. . Price is $75.00. He comes back and says "computer says synthetic only, cost is $140." I left immediately and did not get it changed. . Did it at another place for 80 and no issues. This truck has always had conventional oil as stated in the owners manual. . Once you switch to synthetic you cannot go back. Do not go here unless you want to get ripped off. . I've been here twice. The first time I came in for an oil change, I ended up doing a lot more based on their recommendations. I didn't mind that because I felt like they did a good job and they also hooked me up with a discount. The second time around, the service was just OK. One of the guys looked like he was trying, but the actual service done had a lot of room for improvement. Case in point, if they vacuum your car and check off that they vacuumed your car, but it looks like they didn't, it makes you wonder about the other, more important maintenance being performed. read more

I went in for oil change on 4/23/17. In addition to my oil change service, I also requested for the tail lights and/or break lights. I said, i believe one of those light are not working. They said, no problem. I got to the counter ready to pay, the man behind the counter said all is good including my lights. So I paid for my $98 bill. I drove away thinking i should not get pulled over for a tail light out. Guess what, the following day I got pulled over and received a ticket. Thanks a lot Jiffy Lube on Sonoma Blvd in Vallejo. This location used to have great crew. They check everything thoeoughly. They even clean your windows for real. My receipt says, wash exterior windows...completed. They never touched it because i have the same bugs splattered on my windshield when I came in and checked out. I came here because they mailed coupons for $23 oil changes to the area. Turns out the coupon wasn't good for any somewhat newer car (I drive a 2014 Ford Fiesta) and the oil change was $77 before they took $15 off for the coupon. I figured, fine, not a deal at all but I was going to be fine with it, and just not come back again. At least the staff was polite, friendly, and helpful. Except for one. He was sexually harassing me, called me "cute" and "hot" and stayed during his lunch to slip a note into my door. At no point is that appropriate behavior in a workplace, especially when the customer is not reciprocating your come-ons. It is offensive and made me feel completely uncomfortable. I said "why are you so happy" and they said "because we are alive". They asked me why I wasn't and I told them about Gail and her cancer. They showed me a picture of their basketball coach who died of cancer in September. One girl said "just go keep being her friend. Hug her and be there for her. Maybe help her decorate if she can't.
