To everybody who reads this I would avoid this place at all cost... I've been taking my 4 vehicles there for quite some time to do my oil changes. But back in March I took my work truck there to get a oil change in a transmission flush done. The transmission flush was done correctly but the oil change was never done. The Following Monday I notice going to work the engine light came on so I figure they overfilled it, because the engine light comes on when it's overfilled, go to find out it was missing 5 quarts of oil and by then the motor was already knocking. So I called the owner of that inparticular jiffy lube and he tells me that I had an existing oil leak and that he couldn't do nothing about it so I told him he could run the truck in his driveway at home or in the shop to prove that it is not leak oil like he had said...that S.O.B never even gave me a chance.. so now I'll take all my vehicles to spee dee oil changes.this place is so much better I bring all for my vehicles here now read more

Such a contrast to my experience at Wheel Works on Sonoma. I made an appointment, told it'd be 30 minutes; got there for my appointment, it took them awhile to fill out all the paperwork, THEN they told me it'd be an hour because there were other people in front of me. So I went down the block to this Jiffy Lube. Took my car in for an oil change in December they topped it off in January my engine blew up in February I was told it was Jiffy Lube's fault they took responsibility once they got my car in their possession my car had a big mark on the back end and the battery was disconnected and dead and now I'm picking up my car to take it somewhere to have an engine put in it because they're not taking responsibility. Very expensive. They wanted $50 to change my cabin filter. I refused the service then bought one for $10 at O Reilly and did it myself. On this vehicle it's an easy 5 minute job and no tools are required. They bothered to take the dirty one out to show me and put it back in when i declined their suggestion. Have come here for a couple of years, was good until I bought a newer car. It seems that they only really know how to work on older cars. I came in for a simple oil change and the oil filter was placed wrong meaning all the oil eventually leaked out. When I showed up to the shop to asked why my oil light was flashing if I was just there a week ago. Also went in yesterday, to get my transmission oil changed and the hose that pumps out the fluid got stuck. So my quick trip to jiffy lube turned into 2 hour along wait, while they took my car apart to try and the hose out. They did get the hose out. I guess that's what's important. I always go to this location to get my oil changed and always had my interiors vacuumed. The last 2 times I went, they didn't vacuum and then the 3rd time they did, so it's a hit and miss service. One of those times they even forgot my sticker. TODAY, I went and was surprised that I had to drive my car on my own in the garage. They always do that for you. Then the girl told me it will only take 8 minutes so I didn't have to get out of my car. My windows were cleaned and no interior vacuum. I wasn't even asked if I'd like my air filter changed, which was something the men always asked me if they were there. $84 and they didn't do any inspection, which was supposed to be part of their service. Do not take your car to this Jiffy Lube! A day after having my oil changed, I noticed my heater no longer worked. Then the engine overheated. I took it to the nearest dealer who found that the coolant hose had been disconnected from the water pump. They repaired the hose but the damage was done. The next time I drove the car, it was idling rough and the check engine light came on. A return trip to the dealer found that coolant was intruding into the engine (their words) and the engine would have to be replaced. A very expensive cheap oil change! read more

Why is it SO hard to get an oil change and where is service? I came in at 9 gave the guy my keys. He said when we pull your car into the bay we'll call you up. I said okay it's parked out there and pointed. He said okay. Half an hour later I reminded the tech that my keys were in the lobby and again pointed at my car. The original guy came out and said, "Hey! which car is yours?" I AGAIN pointed at my car and he handed me my keys and said, "You've gotta pull it up. Why is it parked? Everyone else pulled their cars up." 1) why wouldn't you tell me I have to pull my car up when I show you where it's at and hand you my keys? 2) why wouldn't you after realizing there has been a miscommunication just go pull the car up to the bay 3) why would you speak rudely to a customer who has already been waiting over a half hour for your services? 4) At $83.88 why would I decline my exterior windows being washed(see receipt) 5) I will never return to Jiffy Lube as long as I live. read more

I've been a customer of this Jiffy Lube for more years than I can remember, after getting our oil changed at Oil Changers,their bad customer service and sloppy work caused us never to go back. Well today 10/13/2012 was the WORST Customer Service I've received at this Jiffy Lube/Sonoma/Vallejo. Being in a bit of a hurry this morning @ around 9:00a, I was just trying to get topped off as I had a catering job in San Jose, was told that I was over mileage and needed an oil change, which I knew but didn't have the time. Well I decided to get one anyway, while noticing a few new faces, I went into the lounge. One new guy "JAMES, emp.# JCR2335, came in to tell me that I needed a new air filter and began to pull the rubber gasket/seal out of shape to show me how bad it was. Not knowing that, that was MY air filter, asked him, "Is that my air filter, you're pullin apart?" he said yes, I looked in amazement and said, well I guess I will need one after what you're doing, how much is a new one?" He gave me a price of around $9 or $10 bucks extra at which time I asked how long will it take. He replied about 10-15 min. and that he'd have to call and have them bring it from down the street. I said if that was the case ok, but that was all the time I had. He then proceeded to call on a cell phone then came back to say that they did not have my Filter in stock. I said great then just change the oil so I could go. I then observed the guy replacing the oil filter that "JAMES" had been stretching out of place, back into my engine with a bit too much force. I stepped outside and walked over to my car and asked him was it going to fit back in properly without having any issues with my car, and he said yes that he just didn't want to take some part aloose and it was ok. Back inside after getting a coupon on line on my cell phone and showing it to JAMES to pay for my oil change, he gave me a price of $36.33. I took out 2 Twenty Dollar Bills, then said "hold up, I have $.33 in change". Gave him the change, he gave me my pink copy and began to walk away. I said "Hey hold up, where's my $4.00 change?" He said "I gave it to you already!", I said "No you didn't am I crazy?" he said "I don't know but I just counted you out your change ", I looked at him like he was crazy and told him he'd better go get somebody, because he was going to give me my change. He then said I'd have to wait until he counted his till, because he knew he'd given me my change. I was so mad I just got quite and watched him count his till. When he got to the ones', he had 4 extra dollars and threw them on the counter in front of me and walked away...I asked for the Manager "STEVE" and told him what had just happened, he apologized but did not have "JAMES" come and apologize. I spoke to of of the older empoyees'who I'd have dealt with over the years to receive EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE "JIMMY" who was not yet on the clock but tried to help me. Knowing that I and my family have been loyal Cusomers for years here. If it were not for "JIMMY" I probably would not have been coming there anyway. Somebody needs to get rid of this Moron JAMES as he looks like a THIEF. What does he do, keep all the extra cash, and at the end of the day or his shift when the Drawer is over that's all His Money and or Tip for the Day ?Somebody needs to keep and eye on this one. He will never assist me again!!! I'll be calling Corporate Monday morning to file a Formal Complaint! read more

Whatever you do, DO NOT PICK THE OIL THEY RECOMMEND. Do your research on what oil should be used on your car and stick with it. Don't fall for their crappy advice, it's just an upsell. Unfortunately for me, I fell for it. Should have spent only $20 for an oil change with the coupon, but instead I paid $45 because of the upsell. They probably took advantage of me because I'm a little girl who obviously doesn't know anything about cars. I should have asked my dad to come with me or tell me which oil I needed. I usually get my oil changes at the dealer, but the new express oil change is appointment dominated, so I decided to try Jiffy Lube because I used to take my older Vehicles here. I will Service is good. The techs are friendly and service is fast! I brought my Prius in and while I knew what grade oil it should take I wasn't sure if it was synthetic or blend or whatever. The tech said according to their computer the hybrids use full synthetic, which I know is quite a big difference. I in the spot of needing an oil change since I waited way too long to get one decide to go along with this. The tech then showed my the air cabin filter and the engine air filter both of which were pretty dirty. The engine air filter was like $17 bucks. I thought, okay that fairly reasonable maybe $5-6 more, so I was clear I was paying for the convenience of them doing it for me. But the cabin air filter was $54! I think Toyota has it for maybe half, idk, but I don't remember it being that high, so I said no on that. The tech said just go ahead and get that next time. I said sure. My car was done quick maybe 30 minutes tops. But I still had the feeling I was being up sold a little. The tech did give me the $5 off coupon I found on the internet no problem, but my bill was still around $100! I then quickly googled, "prius cabin air filter" and found a youtube video and the amazon price. WHOA! $13 for the filter and the install is really simple! Just as simple as the engine air filter. Lesson learned. Do know your car basics, plan in advance, and use the internet to compare price and see how easy some of the basic car is. Darn! read more

For the last year I took my car for an oil change and it had been efficient but, not today most likely to be the last. Oil and filter were changed and did tires rotation. They pulled my car out and I was ready to leave my car wouldn't start. I asked James the cashier and he said I needed a new battery and will give an estimate on a new one. I decided to call road service. A delivery guy came with a new battery and James told that no longer needed it. James ordered it before I said yes and he could offer a jump start but did not. truck was (still is) running like crap. they tuned it up ($415) took all day... called 30 min before closing and said TEST DROVE IT and ...runs GOOD! come and get her. First thing..got in to leave...CHECK ENGINE light was STILL on! but they reset it. drove about 100' not even out of the Lot...ran Terrible...maybe even worst! Mechanic had already left. What kinda test drive did they do again??? Now I gotta go back Again....to have them try to Re Do the repair. How many more of MY HOURS do I gotta wait This time??? In October my wife went to Jiffy Lube for an oil change. She used to love this place and it was the only store we used for oil change. On this visit the manager talked my wife into a engine cleaning because she has not had a oil change in 6 months. Engine cleaning is not recommended by Honda and can damage the engine. When I went down their to confront this man, he was an ass. I asked him why did he recommend a service to the van that the manufacturer does not want done to the vehicle. He tells me that he does not work for Honda. It is recommended by Jiffy Lube. I fold hime if we ever come back, do not ever do any extra services on my vehicle. read more

You can shop if there is a long wait at the stores near this location. There's Starbucks, Raley's, furniture store, check cashing, almost anything you can think of...a car stereo shop across the street from this location. Usual wait is 20 minutes, but can be around 40 or so if they're real busy (weekends & some holidays). 1. My check engine light came on, they gave me the code for free. 2. My tail light was out, they replaced the bulb and when that didn't solve the problem, they took the cost of the bulb off the invoice and didn't charge me. 3. No loose oil caps, or oil pan screws after they're done. I believe they're busy a lot because they do good work, but if you don't want to wait, catch them mid-week in the morning, usually it's a very short wait then. read more

Sadly i have to give you only 1 star,as i have to be able to write something and 0 stars is not an option,im writing this a little late and im disappointed because,well when i came in,the guys were very nice,fast and i thought efficient,but.....The next day im driving my son home from school and my car starts making some strange sound it has never made before,so my boyfriend starts checking things,we found oil in the spark plug,he changed the spark plugs,cleaning where they go of course,hoping that its not leaking oil in the spark plugs thinking something is wrong with my car,nope,my car runs fine,when Jiffy Lube changed my oil,they got oil in my flippin spark plugs,thanks a lot,im a woman,who knows didly about mechanics,im on ssi,because im disabled,and i have a small child.If we hadnt noticed or figured it out right away ,this could have ruined my brand new rebuilt engine..I do not recommend coming here!Stay away! Unless you like being broke down or having someone ruin your car... then by all means this would be the place to come. read more
