Not pleased at all with this location. Whoever did my vehicle inspection is either incompetent or blatantly lying to try to upsell services. I was told my brake fluid was very low and my brakes needed replacing. I passed on the service, went to get a second opinion at a reputable brake servicing provider and was told my brake pads still have plenty of life and brake fluid level was 100% fine. Guess I'm just going to have to tell jiffy lube right from the start that I don't want any service advice and to just change the oil. read more

jaymee was such an amazing help!! showed up 30 mins to close trying to get one of the bulbs in my headlight replaced, long story short went to 3 different places they all told me they would be unable to service me because you have to remove the entire headlight to replace the bulb, within 2 minutes jaymee found out that a. my headlight does not need to be removed to be serviced and b. the headlight wasn't even out it was just unplugged. so very thankful to jaymee and her team for helping me out and saving me some money!!!! definitely recommend for any of your needs! read more

I KNOW THIS IS LONG BUT IT IS WORTH THE READ. Hopefully the owner will read this! If I could complete this review with no star I would have. This Jiffy Lube gives all Jiffy lubes a bad name. Caleb is the manager I guess. But he has a lot to learn about respect. I pulled up to the back and lined up with one of the bays, and was waiting patiently, after a few minutes the only person I could see working on another rig gave me the 1 finger. Assuming he was Kettering that it would be 1 minute but actually understanding that to be a few moments I am assumed he would come out and let me know how long of a wait it would be. So I sat patently awaiting the timeline. However after another car pulled up behind me and I had waited about 10 minutes with out anyone coming and letting us know the timeline, I got out of my vehicle and approached the young man to see if he was to sole employee on duty and of course, again to understand better the timeline. The child who was working finally addressed me and told me it was about 20 minutes per car and they were just about finished with the one he was working on. I said ok the about 10 minutes and he said yes. I was content to wait the ten minutes. I was not in any hurry at all I just wanted someone to acknowledge I was there and give me some kind of idea of my wait. I was not upset in the slightest. As I was walking back to my car the individual who pulled in behind me asked how long I have been here I told him about 10 minutes and that the darling little boy working said it would be about 20 minutes per vehicle and they were almost done with the one they were working on when I asked him for a timeline. I walked back to my car and the guy behind me drove off. About then Caleb the prize manager lmao approached me and said and I shit you not. "A little birdie told me you were telling people to leave!" Are you kidding I told him I resented him approaching me and telling me "a little birdie told him..." I said that I told the guy I had been here about ten minutes because he asked me. Then Caleb wanted to argue with me about how long I had been there. I told him I was not interested in arguing. Highly would encourage the business owner of this location to do a tight review and training on their employees. I was only there for about 3 minutes getting scanned in and given my options on oil changes. Within those 3 minutes I had 2 employees cuss at me for pulling too forward "Watch your Mother F'n car! Holy f*ck!" & then for being on the cellphone with my husband discussing options "yeah go ahead and f'n" ignore me". When I said I no longer want service due to their awful customer service, I was told to not come back... don't worry I definitely won't be! Husband was slacking on getting an oil change. Regular mechanic wasn't open over the weekend so we swung in and I've never been happier. It was about 4:45 on a Saturday and James got us in and taken care of. He wrote out a list of items that needed attention and didn't rush through us at all. My husband and I have both brought our cars here for a couple years now, and had had decent experiences/service. However, with a two star review obviously something changed. First Trip: My husband brought his car here recently for an oil change. The technician drained my husband's transmission fluid rather than his oil (seemed like a rookie mistake). He made it right, and replaced the transmission fluid at no cost, changed the oil and rotated the tires. Second Trip: However, the car started making a clicking sound and wasn't switching into gear easily, so my husband went back to Jiffy Lube to have the transmission fluid checked, it was low...they filled it back up. Third Trip: Today we took his car into have his tires checked and found that the wheel key was missing from the car. So back to Jiffy Lube we went. The technician found the key, and even remembered my husband and asked how the transmission was doing. Moral of the story, the technicians are very nice, but seem to lack experience and attention to detail. read more

For all the ladies out there needing a good local referral. My husband is away, and I wasn't sure if an oil change was due. I popped into this local Jiffy Lube and asked for one. The manager rang me up. I explained I'd left my coupon at home. He gave me the discount anyway. As the service man was checking the oil, I asked how bad it was. He said, not bad at all. I was surprised when he said I could wait. I asked the manager if he would check my car steering fluid. He explained that it was electronic and didn't need fluid. Wow! Then he noticed some issues with the front tire rotors but explained I could wait for the pads to need changing and do it all at once. Can't tell you how refreshing that was. Too often, as a woman looking for car services, I am taken advantage of with overcharges and upsales. This Jiffy Lube was different. I found a $24.99 Jiffy Lube Signature Service Oil Change (Promo Code: JL2499) on-line for the NE Centerpointe location (close to where I live). See attached. When I pulled up, the person asked if I am using the same oil as last time. I said yes & she said the cost would $42.xx. I said I had a $24.99 coupon & she said that is just a discount. There is no where on the coupon that says $24.00 "off" & specifically states the Signature Service. She said people get confused by the coupon. I said ok expecting the Manager to say they will honor the coupon. When the service was being done, no one came over to speak with me. I then went into the office and asked to see the service rates (these should be posted). I told the gal that they are committing consumer fraud by offering one rate and charging a higher rate. The manager came in and showed me the rate sheet ($46.99 for the oil I needed). The gal was going to charge me for the higher synthetic oil (my last service here in August was not synthetic). In the end, my bill was about $32. The person who did the service (Jennifer) was great. My advice to the owner (I think I saw Shawn on other review replies) is to correct the coupon to note the word "OFF" the regular price. So we pulled up Sunday to get a quick oil change and that was our first mistake. Jiffy lube is anything but "jiffy". It took them almost 20 min just to check in our car (2 other cars in the store) Then when they did check in our vehicle we were told it was going to be 45 min to an hour for them to change the oil. I'm sorry, I can change the oil in my driveway in under 20 min. Add to that about 25 years ago I worked for jiffy lube and I can tell you without a doubt that it only takes about 10 min for them to change the oil in any car. Not a single employee at this location knows how to move faster than a slow crawl. I have sat out front observing the "crew" work on our vehicle and I have watched them all take at least two breaks while they are changing the oil. A break....needed while you are changing the oil in a customers car? Great business practices, no wonder Jiffy Lube is losing market share and if this is any indication they will continue to do so until they disappear. Needless to say I will not be bring any of my family's cars here again in the future and will steer friends and family away starting immediately. read more

Went for an oil change of course. They stated that they checked all my fluid levels and they were fine. Four months later my car overheated on the freeway. I barely made it home. After letting it cool off I found that the coolant reservoir was bone dry! I'm lucky my engine didn't fry! My power steering fluid was also very low. At least the windshield wiper fluid was full. Zero star candidate. You would think that they would anticipate people arriving in the mornings leading up to summer weekends, but no. I arrived 5 to 10 min after opening two days in a row - 90 minute wait. Not exactly a Jiffy by my definition. On my third try, I rolled right in! Only to be told they were out of 15w40 oil, so I'd have to buy the more expensive synthetic. With 10 quarts in my truck, that's not cheap. Since they run an oil change shop, I suggested they just charge me the regular price (I was also going to get my transmission fluid changed). The manager told me there was no way he could do that. Sure there was, he just didn't have the balls to make it right. So do yourself a favor, skip this Jiffy Lube and find another one. read more

I took my van into this Jiffy Lube for an oil change. I understand they offer cheap oil changes and make their money selling you extra services but my experience went beyond that. I was informed by the "mechanic" that my van had rusty coolant that needed to be flushed, an air filter so clogged he was amazed my engine could even run and the brakes were so bad that I could expect to hear grinding very soon. The quote to make it all right came in at just over $400. Here's the kicker. I had flushed the coolant myself and installed a NEW air filter JUST THE DAY BEFORE! The brakes had very recently been done at Les Schwabb! It's one thing to recommend extra services but quite another to lie about things needing attention that absolutely don't need to be done. These crooks can't be trusted. Stay away! read more

Claimed that my rear differential fluid needed topped off for $29.99. First off I believe that they are suppose to top off all fluids as part of the oil change. Secondly, it is in a 2017 F150 with 35,000 miles so nothing should need to be done about this fluids, no reason to even check it. Last thing is that when I took it to the shop that I know and trust the factor glue was still holding the bolt and it had never even been opened and checked at Jiffy Lube. When it was opened and checked the fluid was full and clean. This is just bad business! I don't know if they think I just don't know anything because I am a women so they are trying to pull a fast one or if they are just stupid and think they are going above and beyond by doing things that don't need to be done. On July 14, 2019 had my oil changed and the technician, Justin pulled the engine air filter to inspect. He did not reconnect a vacuum hose or secure back that were running over the filter case. A cable on the electrical harness was wrapped around and stressed causing a molex connector to be pulled halfway out. I needed up need a tow truck to the dealer where the damage with tow was over $1100. The district manager, Chance basically told me that I was going to be left paying for the damage that Jiffy lube had cost me. I will never again give my business to any Jiffy Lube due to how poorly they took care of the inept and incompetent service. Don't trust Jiffy Lube to do anything to your vehicle unless you want to risk be stranded on the highway with an expensive repair bill. Jiffy Lube does not stand by their work and if they create a major problem, they will not make it right. Take a photo under the hood before you leave, because like weasels, they will leave you high and dry because they do not have enough work ethic to check their work before handing your vehicle back to the customer. shawnc@lubemgt.com Mailbox is not available. Not impressed. I have rarely had excellent service here- but for some reason I keep coming back to this location. There was an open bay when I got in. Took several minutes for someone to come and direct me. Once in the waiting are, it took 25 min to be checked in. Once finally checked in, I agreed to an additional service and was offered a discount. Now it's been 25 min and they still haven't completed the service. Nothing jiffy about today and it's not obvious they have cars lined up. Perhaps shorthand's today. Not sure what the deal us but I wish they would have warned me about being super slow today so I could have made the decision to go rise where. read more

Oil change they are okay. Brakes I would not use this shop! This week we took our work truck into for oil change and asked them to check the front brakes (they were squeaking). They told us they were almost metal on metal and quoted about 350 for both front ends with rotors and pads. I told them just oil change nothing else. I spent my Saturday morning buying parts to change brakes, just to find out the current brake pads had over 80% of use left. Ugh not sure if their experience or integrity failed, but either way buyer beware. read more

I brought my daughter's 1996 Toyota 4 Runner in to get additional oil and to get everything else check after the Jiffy Lube in Pullman Washington failed to do a number of things including the tightening of the oil filter. The vehicle was already down approximately 2 quarts of oil (service was done October 29, 2018). I had to wait for about 45 minutes but they brought me down underneath the vehicle and identified several things the other Jiffy Lube failed to do but checked off as being completed. Totally took care of everything adding the missing 2 quarts of oil and checking everything the other Jiff Lube didn't do. No charge and sent me on my way! OK, today was"car day". I bought brand new wiper blades at an auto supply store and had them installed before going to this Jiffy Lube for an oil change. It wasn't raining yet, so they were literally brand new and never used. So help me, these dishonest people told me I needed to have my windshield wiper blades replaced plus loads of other things that didn't need done. Drive away! Shame on you Jiffy Lube! read more

I needed a headlight replaced...1st question - can you do this? Absolutely. Agreed to oil change and bulb Replacement. Said the car was ready, drove off and arrived home to find No bulb Replacement. Reviewed bill...not done, though $90 for an oil change. Called to find out why this happened. No reason but please come in tomorrow and we'll take care of it no expense on my part. Returned late morning...no mechanic, on his way... Might be able to do the job but maybe not...and I'm now expected to pay for the bulb IF they can fix it. WTF?? Not reputable or reliable & this is supposed to be a new full service location - 4th Plain. And I would Not have agreed to the oil change had they not been able to fix the light. They have lost our trust and family of cars after years of being a customer. Wasted my time, gas, money. I would advise YOU to take your biz elsewhere. Good luck if you bother. I miss my mechanic in Chicago, but these guys took good care of me. Arrival and check in was a bit confusing. I wasn't exactly sure if I should have waited in the waiting room or waited in the car. They offered me both options, but I just wasn't sure exactly how it would work. I'm used to being able to park and walk in to the waiting area. Once I was in, they were efficient. They cleaned the car and explained my oil change options. They also discounted an additional service for me, and even when they realized they had quoted me the wrong price (it was cheaper than it should have been), they didn't try to charge me the difference for the correct and more expensive price. I appreciated that. Also, since I was there when they were getting ready to close, I had the luxury of three mechanics looking at my car to make sure things were being done right. I can't complain about that! Based on today, I may come back in the future. They'd have to really bomb to lose my business, and they didn't today. read more

I've been to this place a few times for a couple different services and now feel very comfortable leaving them a positive review. They have always shot me straight here and I have never felt pressured into a service. They have incredibly fair prices for what they offer, and I have never had to wait for someone to come out and greet me. The lobby and bathroom are as clean as can be expected and the staff is courteous and respectful which is more than I can say for most 'mechanic' shops; They even accommodated me when I asked to see my transmission fluid. This place was not busy, they had 3 or 4 employees and yet it still took this long. I was never apologized to or offered anything in regards to compensating my time. In fact the guy tried to tell me my car used oil that was twice as expensive and wanted to debate me on the issue when I told him this was not correct. Manager was an asshole. They didn't know how to do the brakes and they couldn't get the parts to do the brakes on my 97 GMC suburban. And the brakes didn't need to be done They needed to be adjusted. They wanted to charge me $100 to do the rear brakes. I went over to les Schwab on 117th and 78th Pl. paid $43 they adjusted and clean my brakes and I haven't had a problem cents. They also said that it was going to cost me $25 for my oil change but I ended up paying $89. These people do not know what they're doing. Do not have your car serviced here. I don't have any recommendations because even I've been having trouble finding a place that can give a honest oil change at a fair rate. read more

They went above and beyond for me today. I had just gotten my oil changed in my truck from another oil change business when within less than an hour my low oil pressure light came on. I was at a red light and the lady behind me got out of her car to tell me my truck was leaking fluid badly. Thankfully, Jiffy Lube was right at the corner and I immediately turned into them. They got me into a bay right away and had me pop my hood and when I did oil was everywhere! They discovered that my oil filter was not properly tightened. They went ahead and installed a new oil filter as well as replace my oil (basically most had leaked out). They didn't charge me a penny! They will now get my business from now on. read more

These guys are slow and not very friendly. They told me that tire rotation and brake check would take 10-15 minutes....it was 45 minutes. I was in a hurry, I told them I was in a hurry. Did they work any faster? Nope....Did anyone come over to help him even though guys were standing around? Nope...Will I take my business elsewhere even though I live right down the road? Yup. The lobby is cold...there were no cups for water or coffee...the bathroom was dirty..and no one was ever around to tell you the wifi password. I went to get a oil change, they told me I should get a transmission flush, as well as a few more things. By the time they were done with the quote it was almost $400, but they dropped it down to $200. I was going on a trip to California do I thought "why not". I had the work done, and left in my trip. I had the work done on a Wednesday last week . I drive to Ventura beach, Saturday my transmission goes! Now while they were doing the flush they have me sign a waiver that releases them of any liability if something happens to my transmission after the flush? Kind of odd.... My transmission cost $2600.
