DO NOT GO HERE! I took my car in for a simple oil change. Instead of doing a component job, they cracked my oil pan and left my car starved of oil leaving me without a functioning vehicle for more than two weeks. They have refused to pay for the damages. I now have to take them to court. These are not morally just people. read more

This Jiffy Lube runs like a well oiled machine. Just like my car after my visit. LOL It's pretty fast and affordable. Went in for a desperately needed oil change and needed a bunch of other sht fixed. Curses of being a used car owner. Serpentine belt, radiator junk, low tire pressure, in addition to my lube job. There's nothing fun or sexy about getting an oil change. I don't look forward to them, and I hand over my money with indifference when it's over. It's one of those compulsory adult behaviors to me, period. That said, I had a very pleasant experience with the Wilmette JL this morning. I was greeted by one technician, another explained everything they were doing, and the third handed over my car at the end. Each one was friendly and the whole place seemed to be on the same wavelength: the customer service wavelength. The technician who explained everything didn't pressure-sell me, but explained why the synthetic blend was a better option, and why my cabin filters needed to be replaced. He also told me what could wait until next time (wiper blades, tire rotation). When I checked out, he made me aware that fluid top-offs were free between visits and also gave me a printout of my suggested maintenance schedule. He was speedy but also asked if I had questions. Here are some details: *The early-bird special (weekdays between 7 AM-10 AM) will save you $10. *Their web site has a bunch of coupons as well. *Their oil change includes checking fluids and tire pressure, and an interior vacuum and exterior window wash. *There is coffee in the waiting room, as well as NPR and a handful of magazines (skip Sheridan Road if you are prone to nausea). *The waiting room has an overpowering cherry smell. *With two cars ahead of me, my visit took about 25 minutes total. read more

The big sign over the doors that says Pennzoil Platinum Oil Change $86.00 doesn't say that the $86.00 fee does not include the oil filter ($11.99) and the Disposal Fee ($3.99) so my $86.00 Oil Change cost $102.97. They did give me a coupon for $10.00 off so that helped. I was on my way home before I noticed they did not vacuum nor clean the windows as advertised. The staff was friendly and did not try to upsell anything but frankly I am used to better service at Jiffy Lube. I have been a Jiffy Lube customer since they were B&W 10 Minute Oil Change. read more

I live across the alley from this Jiffy Lube. I was out shoveling in the alley this morning - we had a foot of snow - and one of the guys arriving early for work offered to help me. I politely declined and thanked him. Five minutes later he was out shoveling the Jiffy Lube parking lot (their plow truck was running late). Pretty cool. read more

The complex task was to change the light bulb. Check the picture what Jiffy Lube made out of it! One of the 2 screws is still somewhere in the inside of the body, bouncing around in each corner, a deep scratch in the color and the light housing is broken. Let's see on how good they are to get out of the mass, the first approach of customer escalation managment haven't been very impressive....hopefully more positve to come! read more

I pulled in to get my oil changed earlier today just before noon. Every employee was wearing a mask and I was instructed to stay in the car, which made my party feel better than having to sit in the lobby(which was closed) since we had our dog with us. The oil change was extremely quick and efficient. Andre and Demarco made our experience safe and we were out in 20 minutes. We will be back for our next oil change. read more

We needed to get in and out and he was right there to ensure that we had our oil change and that all things were done in a timely fashion. Thank you, Andre, Dre, and Daniel. They truly exhibited an amazing work-dynamic and exceeded customer care! I headed to this Jiffy Lube after work. I actually gave them a call before I got there because I wasn't going to get there until 6:40pm knowing that they closed at 7pm (I didn't want to rush them or have them be 'stuck' with me late). Andre picked up the phone and said, "no problem" and that they're there to help me. Dre and Daniel worked on my car immediately. Dre and Daniel were so quick and efficient I was done so fast. They mentioned to me that my brake light was out, and asked if I'd wanted to change it. I answered saying that my dad and I have been working on it, but we couldn't really figure out how to get to the brake light. I told Andre it was ok because my dad and I were supposed to work on it next time, but Andre graciously said that he'd change it for free. It's not about the price of the service. It's the fact that all three of the employees were working so hard and diligently disregarding that they were all doing this "on the house," for me. I didn't leave until 7:20pm, so they all stayed extra late just for me, too. They provided me with extra care and attention. That is how you build long-lasting relationships. They took care of me from start to finish, were courteous and extremely professional, and exceeded my expectations. Andre, Dre, and Daniel all deserve raises. They're a great team. Currently sitting in this jiffy lube, been here 45 minutes and they still haven't touched my car...only getting an oil change! The place is called jiffy lube, not come-in-and-sit-on-your-ass-lube! There are only 2 other customers here and no reason for the hold up, I was given a dismissive "We'll get to it soon" response 20 minutes ago. This location is terrible. They told me that my Acura MDX only takes synthetic oil and that an oil change would be $70. When I responded that the vehicle does not require synthetic oil and that I have never used synthetic oil in the 2 + years I've owned it, he responded that synthetic was they only kind they have on the weight my car requires. Kinda strange since I've taken it to other Jiffy Lubes in the city without any problems. The people who work here are awesome! One of the few car places that maintains friendly customer service. My seat wouldn't go down and Warrens shell in Evanston said it would be $90 to look at it and they couldn't get me an appointment till Monday (on a car that is worth about $1k). So I came here to where I get my oil changed and they just pushed the seat down no charge. This place is awesome. read more

*Actually zero stars* I have gotten my oil changed here a couple of times and never had issues until the last time. My car had a broken windshield after the last oil change. The Jiffy Lube staff said that the car came in with a broken windshield but I don't see how my boyfriend and I would not have noticed a crack that was over 2 feet long. I dealt with the manager of this location as well as a regional employee and they were both shady throughout the whole process. They did not respond quickly to my questions and I had to initiate all communication. Eventually I broke down after going back and forth with them for a week about the car/videotape/etc and fixed the windshield with my own money. I do not believe the videotape was ever even reviewed. The customer service I received from this location as well as Jiffy Lube as a whole was terrible. I do not recommend you get your oil changed here. read more

I have always had a good experience with this store. The Manager really knows what he's doing and they're always very pleasant and fast. I was driving down Green Bay Road today when the oil light went on. I had a few minutes and I noticed the "no Wait" sign was on. I pulled right in, they topped off my oil (synthetic) and they refused to charge me! Surprise and delight. I will be going back! read more

This place is a quarter mile from the Wilmette train station and is open until 7pm which makes it perfect when I want to run over for an oil change after work. Today I had an excellent service visit at Jiffy Lube, Wilmette. The main reasons: The service rep who worked with me and the timely manner in which I was able to get in and out. I was greeted by a helpful attendant from the moment I pulled my car up. He escorted me into the waiting area and offered me coffee, showed me the magazines, and pointed out where I could find the restrooms - without any prompting from me. Dennis, the service attendant who helped me throughout the appointment, was personable, helpful, and courteous. He explained everything to me thoroughly and patiently. An oil change and tire rotation later - I was in and out in a half hour. PERFECT! read more

The amount they charge is outrageous, and they are supposed to top off the fluids, which they have not done the last three times I've been there. No tire filling, no vacuuming. I just spoke with the manager there, and he said they ask people if they want that full service, as some people are in a hurry. They did not ask, and still charged an outrageous amount that I can get done other places for $38. I will not go back here. They do the absolute minimum and charge the most. read more

This is a downright criminal operation. I usually get my oil changed at the dealership, and for lack of time I went to Jiffy Lube. I was stunned to see that of the five oil options they gave me, the cheapest was $79 before tax. When I told them that I could get my oil changed (along with other services like having my car cleaned and tires rotated) for under $40 at the dealership, the guy just said he wasn't sure what oil they were using and referred me back to the screen of options. I then went inside and called my husband, who told me it sounded like they were using synthetic oil. I immediately ran outside and told the guy that I don't need synthetic oil. The guy said it was too late, they had already refilled it. Seconds had truly gone by. Clearly, I was deliberately misled by some kind of scam they are running at that place. At least I know when I go to the dealership, if I ask a question about my car and the services they provide, I will be advised and informed and not lied to. Online it shows that their oil changes start at $29. This option was NEVER presented to me even when I questioned them. The Jiffy Lube on Green Bay Road is a very unethical establishment and one I will not be returning to again. read more

Not only were all of the services explained to me in detail before they started work, but the technician went out of his way to explain my options - cost savings for services I chose, what I could defer until later and ways to plan out future visits without being hit all at once. This place used to be great. My experience today (11/22/14) was awful. The team must have changed. While it was crowded, the staff lost track of my spot and I saw three vehicles get serviced before me. When I raised this, no apology. I was there for over 2 1/2 hours while people coming after me, left. Watching the work get, it was haphazard, slow and poorly managed. Even when my car was finally in the garage, they still tended to other cars arriving after me. One worker was in the office on a long personal call before attending to my car.
