I had my car serviced last November. The salesman was recommending services that weren't even necessary for my corolla. I just had my car serviced at the dealership for less and the tech informed me that a 2016 Toyota Corolla doesn't require front differential work. The guy was putting the pressure on and they even sent me an email saying I refused this recommendation and that I should get it next time. Buyer beware. I will never ever go back because lord knows what else they'd try to sell me. read more

I sent my daughter in for a simple inspection for $23 and $300 later they let her leave when in their own paperwork the only thing wrong/didn't pass was a wiper blade. They take advantage of every person that walks through that door unless you have some kind of mechanical background. They show you a dusty air filter and say "this is dangerous to breathe" but they won't show you what an actual dirty filter looks like because then you'll know it's not needed (it was changed 41 days prior). $39.99 for rain wiper blades that are only $13 at the auto parts store with FREE installation!!!! I know upselling is the norm at jiffy lube because they try to do it to everybody but they go overboard! There's so many locally owned places within a mile of here to get an inspection and quality work done. Why keep going to a huge corporate sponge that literally hires people with "no experience required" ? VERY VERY nice until your wallet is empty then you can leave. Sad... very sad. read more

I came to this location on 11/26/22 for an oil change. Workers Allen, Sam, and Connor performed services on my car according to my receipt. To start, the cashier charged me incorrectly and had to give me a refund. That day I put about $1000 in my glove compartment to deposit after I got an oil change. I never had an issue with that location before, however, these employees seemed new. Once I left, I went to deposit my money and discovered that only $200 was left. I had $800 missing from my original amount. I tried to go back and figure out what happened but, by the time I went they were closed. I called the next day and the manager said that he did open my glove compartment and put my money aside but that is all, he claimed that he was the only one to service my car and that he would check cameras just in case. I went in person a couple of minutes after to have a look at the cameras myself, but they were not helpful at all and the manager said that they do not have cameras after all. He became a bit snappy and I made sure to speak to them in a civil manner hoping they would help me if they did not take it. That was not the case. I recommend no one come to this location and if you must, please keep a close eye on whatever they are doing to your car and what they are taking out. I am a college student and I really needed that money for school. Now I'm in a really bad place because it got taken. Be careful. read more

Terrible. Sorry guys, but I can't leave a good review. when I came back out to my truck the day after the oil change there was puddle of oil in the driveway. The plug was not tightened all the way, the filter was loose, and there was oil all over the engine compartment. And no, this is not an old problem I'm blaming on JL. I went to get my oil changed like I always did there but this time I was told they can't change it this t because there is a recall on my car. The supposed recall was the oil filter housing and that it cracks when putting the oil filter back on. I called a Dodge dealership and Jan then look to see if there was a recall on my vehicle. There wasn't an active recall on my vehicle. They straight out lied to me. Maybe they got sued for cracking the housing on somebody's vehicle. They just got new owners 3 months ago and also they don't carry my oil filter anymore. To top it all off I also just found out that they never tightened my oil drain plug all way because that was half out. read more

I went to the location on Market st to get an oil and filter change in June 2023. I have been to this location over a dozen times. I took the car in, they said it would be 45-60 minutes because 5 cars were ahead of me. It didn't take quite that long but when they called me up to pay the charge for the oil change was $115! the last time I went in Feb same service was $60. I noticed after he told me that there were no prices posted inside anywhere either on a board or on paper. you can not lookup prices online either nor does the person checking in your car say anything about the price of the service! What a rip off! to get an estimate online you have to put in your Vin #. WTF! I have been a Jiffy Lube customer for 20 years but NEVEr again! the customer right after me was also shocked! Super Rip off....plus your checkout receipt doesn't even verify the individual services they did like they used to. The new receipts are super generic and general( or look homemade)! They are intentionally misleading customers! You can get your oil change at a dealership cheaper! At least they will tell you the price before! read more

My sister had a horrible experience here. She went in for a problem with the car rolling forward in park. They told her the front brakes needed changed, then changed the back ones too and charged her double the estimate. This didn't fix the problem and then she was told that they couldn't fix it and sent her on her way after a $300 bill for brakes she didn't need. Wish I had gotten involved in it but found out after the fact. She is now taking it somewhere else to fix the problem. Horrible way to do business and it kept me from putting my car in there for work. There are too many good places to go around here--do not get ripped off by them! read more

Asked about how long it would take, and was confronted by a very rude, agitated employee named Anthony. Anthony proceeded to yell again and again that it "time to go" when my car was "done". Terrible job at checking fluids, if at all. Had to go to another Jiffy Lube when I got to Cary, NC before driving back home to Maryland. 0 out of 5 stars. I take my truck here for a regular oil change, always good service. I am heading out on a long trip, Jennifer was my Service rep today, as she has been a few times in the past. She pointed out that I needed several serpentine belt replaced and was happy to show me that they were in very poor condition. I thought that not only was this going to be expensive, but also time consuming. I was wrong! The price was more than fair! And Jennifer had me out with the belts changed, the oil changed within 35 minutes with a very fair cost. Thank you! read more

I'm not a fan of most quick lube places already since they seem to be more interested in upselling to customers than to providing any kind of customer service, but flat out being ignored when requesting they leave certain components alone is a serious issue because now I'm more worried about what else they've messed with. We specifically instructed them to leave the air filter alone. An air filter costs $10 and takes 5 minutes to put in. Maybe less. Not only that, but I have enjoyed the pleasure of finding my air filter crammed back in upside down and backwards on multiple occasions, without the offender even closing the box back up. Yikes! So they call me up to ask what kind of oil I want and what do I find? My air filter on the counter. You've GOT to be kidding me. I politely explained that we won't be purchasing an air filter from them and that we asked them not to even remove it. Then the guy behind the counter argues with me about how it would be difficult to put that kind of filter in incorrectly (preaching to the choir, buddy, but it still happens) and that it wouldn't hurt anything. Came home to find a bolt missing out of the air box cover with a very clean hole (i.e., not unoccupied for very long). Damn it. Lesson learned: stay with your car the entire time it is in the bay, watch the workers like hawks, and double check everything before leaving the premises. Or change the oil yourself and save money and stress! read more

Close to $100 for a synthetic oil change is ridiculous. I have been getting synthetic oil changes for my car at Jiffy Lube locations in the Charlotte area for over 25 years and have never paid so much. I guess it is time to move on and get it done elsewhere. read more

Had a great experience here! I had a little bit of wait but I'm used to spending half my day at a mechanic's when I need to get an oil change and an inspection. They were extremely courteous and gave me options when it came to what I wanted done. Watching other guests, the staff was very courteous to everyone and when a guest didnt want to have their coolant topped off for instance, the staff respected their wishes. I received a discount because of the time it took to get everything done but I believe I was there less than 30 minutes from when I pulled in. All in all, I would absolutely go here again. This place deserves better reviews. We were traveling through so we were looking for somewhere quick, and we called a lot of places before reaching this place. They saw us immediately, and let us sit inside with our dog, although there was plenty of seating outside in the shade. The interior was very clean, including the restrooms. The staff was incredibly friendly and gave us a coupon although we didn't bring one in. One of the guys came over and gave our corgi some attention and love after they were finished. And they vacuum your car! We were in and out in 20 minutes. I highly recommend this place for an oil change! read more

I got my last two oil changes here. After the first one I decided to go to a local place because it was cheaper but they told me they couldn't get the oil cap off because the previous person who changed it (this jiffy lube) stripped the cap so it couldn't come off. Because of this I had to go back to this jiffy lube to get it changed again which I didn't want to do because it would be more expensive but not a big deal. This time not only was the oil change 80$ instead of 50$ (same car so I'm not sure how it went up so much in price) but my car is was leaking oil after and now the protector on the bottom of my car is detached. I was planning on taking a two hour drive out of town but now I can't because the bottom of my car is dragging on the ground. I tried to call and explain the situation and they actually hung up on me. Planning on calling again tomorrow. read more
