Well I'm almost positive that at one time I left a very good review but frankly it's probably been a total of 30 years I've been doing business with them! They tell you the price and it's always that price or cheaper sometimes they find it's not even the things that you think it is which in a lot of cases ends up being better for you! I'll give you an example once I had my 2001 Corvette in the shop and they told me that it needed a computer part for rolling down the windows. The part that needs to go out to be remanufactured and it might be $800 it might be $1500 and it might be $2,500 and I thought oh wow the guy's going to have my part and he's just going to charge me the highest! I've never had anybody get the part and charge me less! He said well I've done business with the guy for like 30 years and he pulls it apart and he fixes the part that's wrong and then he sends it back and I trust him!. Well guess what, ended up being $800 never ended up being the higher amount! I always count on them for oil changes brake jobs I've had front end work done many different cars over the years. I just know that anytime I take it in there I can always count on whatever they say needs to get done. Comforting to know they've been in business before I got to Yorba Linda which was 30 years ago! Called to confirm a job that they scheduled a week ago, but they canceled on me the day before and pushed me out another 3 days, which I'm sure will turn to 4 or 5 days by the time they get to me. I also gave thumbs up on the full price they quoted without question. Their excuse for pushing me out was that a few cars rolled in on tow trucks, which is like saying a restaurant couldn't provide on a scheduled catering job because hungry diners came in through the front door.... it makes no sense. Standard thing to do is that a shop would charge expedite fees for the people that need the car done faster, and to roll that back as a discount to the scheduled the jobs that had to be pushed out. That works out best because it helps make sure that they have a consistent flow of business at no cost to them, while also getting people who are stranded back on the road same-day. Of course they didn't do that, they just assumed I wouldn't be stranded or that I'd come back, and they just kicked the can down the road. Bummer. read more

This review is for Auto Body work with Alex. We shopped several body shops and my wife found Rose Auto Repair to have the best price. I went in and spoke with Alex, and he broke down all our options. It's a smaller shop (not a big name shop) so I was a little hesitant. With everything Alex promised it seemed like a great deal. Any doubts I had, Alex assured me he'd keep his word, and to trust him. Today we picked up our Toyota Sienna, and I can confidently say Alex came through with all his promises and honestly even more than he promised. I'll definitely be bringing all my cars here from now on. Key points - some mechanics may take advantage of a female customer thinking they don't know much about cars, but Alex was straightforward from beginning (dealing with my wife) all the way to the end. Genuine- he took time to explain thing he didn't have to. We spoke several time out side work hours. Bottom line.. he used time he didn't have to, to give better service. This has been a review that is long overdue. I have a 2001 Volvo. Way back in 2014, my check engine light popped up right before needing a smog check. Both Alex and Manny were extremely knowledgeable and helpful. They are both honest guys, and fixed the issues quickly (and inexpensive!). Since then, I have been taking my car to Rose for all maintenance issues that comes associated with having a car that is over 15 years old. They are not the quickest in terms of turnaround, but that is because they have so many loyal customers. I have no problem waiting an extra day for my car, since I know the work done will be quality. They do have a deal with Hertz rental for $25/day. Absolutely fantastic guys to work with. Highly recommended to bring in your vehicle here for any issue. read more
