A legend among Oregon coffee houses. Have lots of coffee and breakfast choices. I loved the biscuits and gravy bowl with one egg and bacon. I wish the ambiance was bit cozier, throw in a couch or so. The bathroom has a coded lock, I wonder if the neighborhood got rougher?

We stopped into Jim & Patty's Coffee for a morning coffee and quick breakfast. The menu has a great list of options, including seasonal options and smoothies. They also have a lot of food options available. I decided to order their Ultimate Pumpkin Latte and one of their Pig Newtons. Both were delicious and great together. We also got one of their cookies, which was great and my friends really enjoyed their drinks and food as well. As a really cute touch they include a candy with each of their drinks and customize it to the drink order. They have plenty of seating and free Wi-Fi available. We also loved the chalk art, murals and photos everywhere. It's definitely a great place to check in with friends, go on a coffee date or just get some work done.

Decent coffee and espresso drinks, all the regular options plus some very unique that others don't typically offer. Habanero Mocha, Black Tiger Mocha, Girl Power (soy & honey) and a Soviet Mocha (made with sour cream) to name a few. When I stop here it's for the Habanero Mocha as I love the heat with a touch of cinnamon. If you get here early they have a varied selection of pastries - scones, coffee cake, muffins and cookies to name a few. I prefer their breakfast sandwiches and appreciate that they are willing to scramble the egg for me as it's the only way I can eat an egg - no visible whites as I don't like the taste or texture. They have many varieties of bread and I go with whatever is the heartiest with grains. There is seating on both sides of the register. There is a ccomfy, quirky vibe with brightly painted walls, lots of people parked at seats and working. I'm familiar with Jim & Patty's as I used to frequent the NE Fremont location when I lived in NE. The Beaverton location isn't a place I choose as a destination but if I want a coffee after getting my nails done next door, and don't want a Starbucks, I stop in.

The very first time I came here, I came with with a friend who was crazy about coffee. "They have really fine foam here" she told me. So I ordered a cappuccino and was hooked. What I like about Jim & Patty's is that it's not pretentious. It doesn't have modern whimsical decor or fancy Instagram-worthy drinks. What they have is a large seating area with games & music and solid drink selections. At times, the food line gets really back logged. Today the wait for food was 40 minutes! Thank goodness it doesn't happen too often. There's nothing worse than a caffeine high on an empty stomach lol! Overall, I have enjoyed Jim & Patty's for years and I'm happy to see it has continued to attract customers throughout the years. I only wish they'd open another location in the Beaverton/Hillsboro area so it's not so crowded on Saturday mornings.

The Hipster bowl with scrambled eggs because I felt like it and sans one strip bacon since I already ate it.

A mom and pop cafe done well! Not too large of a menu yet has what about anyone would want. Lots of coffee choices. There's a homey feel slightly dimmed light side and a bright I'm just stoping in for a quick meal side. Had great customer service.

Oh my, look at the choices.

The staff are amazing, so many choices for coffees, teas and latte. I love the variety of pastries. I had drip coffee and my husband had a white chocolate mocha. We loved it so much we were back the next day!

I tried the Tiger milkshake for the first time today and boy was it delicious. It has chocolate covered coffee beans blended into it, what I call a time release caffeine shake. I also love the great variety of breakfast items. Today I tried the "Pigster" bowl, which is the hipster bowl but with a pig newton cut up covered in sausage gravy topped with an egg and bacon. A pig newton is a cheddar biscuit wrapped around sausage links. They have a few choices including a veggie option. They do sell out fast so the earlier in the day you arrive, the better chances you have to get what you want. The biscuits are very hearty and filling and also have a few different choices. My son doesn't eat meat , so he ordered a breakfast sandwich with veggie sausage, goat cheese, egg and caramelized onions on grain bread. He thoroughly enjoyed it and would definitely order again. The ordering process was quite lengthy but once ordered the food came out timely. We love all the different choices for drink options and food choices, there is something for everyone.

Solid breakfast spot in Beaverton! Been around for a while and there's a reason - because this place slaps! Hard to miss from their menu as it's all so good!!

Covid Update 11/23: open for take out!! Curbside delivery as well for food after its ordered This place is super cute! I can't wait to visit post COVID so that I can take advantage of the seating area and board games available to customers. The shop was well staffed and line was moving very quickly. I had never been here before but the staff was very friendly and welcoming with their suggestions. I ended up getting a Moka and a half order of the biscuits and gravy. It looks like they have quite a few food options so I'm excited to come by and try a few more dishes. However, the biscuits and gravy were really tasty. Whole chunks of sausage in the gravy and the biscuits were fluffy. The half portion was a great size and was plenty to fill me up. The coffee I felt was a little weak so I probably would get another shot the next time but overall, great experience!

Updating my prior review. This place is local and warm and inviting. Why go to Starbucks across the street? I enjoyed a Lorraine breakfast Sammy today and smooth cup of medium roast coffee.

There was ample seating to suit every mood (table and chairs, comfy chairs, and comfy sofas with plenty of outlets and side tables). There's a fun and fresh local artist goods shop tucked in the front corner. It's a perfect place to find a gift for yourself or others. The menu is a nerdy dream come true. When we visited a couple of weeks ago in May, the themed drinks were Lord of the Rings and Mario. I had the Gondor, which, if I recall, may have had hazelnut and cinnamon. I DO recall that it was delish. I forgot what drink my daughter ordered, but she enjoyed it as well. I look forward to coming back and trying their London Fog, which is one of my favorite drinks and seems to have significant praise from other reviewers. We didn't get an opportunity to try the food, but look forward to in the future. One refreshing surprise is that this is a no-tip establishment. I don't recall what I paid for the drinks, but I appreciate places that charge what they need to make their business work and to (hopefully) pay their employees a living wage. Brickhaus is rooted in community and belonging, and I am here for it!

I stopped by Deadstock Coffee while visiting the area and immediately loved the concept. As someone who loves coffee but loves sneakers even more, this place felt right up my alley. The shop itself is decorated with basketball and sneaker culture, along with iconic sports moments that make the space feel unique without trying too hard. One thing that caught me off guard was that there wasn't a traditional menu posted. As a first-time visitor, I wasn't sure what coffee options, blends, or milk choices were available. Thankfully, it wasn't too busy, and the employee working was incredibly patient, friendly, and happy to walk me through everything. Customer service like that goes a long way. My drink was excellent, and the sneaker design printed on top of the coffee was such a cool touch. It's one of those little details that makes the experience memorable and fits perfectly with the brand. Whether you're a sneakerhead, a coffee lover, or both, Deadstock Coffee is worth checking out. I'll definitely be stopping by again the next time I'm in the area.

The breakfast burrito was also delicious. I added sausage, Guac, and mushrooms. It would've been a 10/10 if left off the mushrooms. The burger tasted precooked, not a lot of flavor, just ok. The fries were fresh and hot, and seasoned perfectly. Another good experience at this incredible sneaker-themed coffee shop not too far from Nike. Definitely go for the coffee, you'll love it.

It's one of the best breakfast sandwiches I've had. Their lattes are just as impressive. I've tried both the ube coconut latte and the black sesame latte, each made with plant-based milk instead of regular milk. The ube coconut latte was smooth, well-balanced, and not overly sweet. The black sesame latte, however, was the standout for me. It had a rich, nutty flavor and is hands-down my favorite of the two. I don't believe it's a regular menu item, so if you happen to see it, I'd definitely recommend giving it a try. Loro is on the pricier side, which is why I don't visit as often as I'd like, but I genuinely think it's worth it. The quality of the food and drinks makes it feel like a special treat. The only reason I'm giving four stars instead of five is the parking. The café is tucked between apartments and other retail spaces, so street parking is your only option. I've had to circle the block several times before finding a spot, making it less convenient if you're driving. Parking aside, this is a charming neighborhood coffee shop that consistently serves flavorful food and thoughtfully crafted drinks. If you're looking to treat yourself to an exceptional breakfast sandwich and a beautifully made latte, Loro Coffee is well worth the visit.
