In my Chevy equinox Chevrolet decided to keep using a part in the breaking system that they knew had a history of failure and they had actually recalled from other vehicles. My daughter was driving my equinox during rush-hour traffic when this part broke, making her brakes almost as hard as a rock, and she barely avoided a collision with a full gasoline, tanker truck, who knows how many lives could've ended because of this brake failure. The broken parts then made their way into my engine, completely ruining my engine and making my car in operable. I tried contacting Chevy, but they have shown me that they do not care about my situation or apparently the safety of their customers. There has even been a new class action lawsuit filed because of all the damage Chevrolet choosing to use this part has caused.

Yesterday, Sunday, Info Center showed the car was operating at Reduced Acceleration - Drive with Care. Code was reduced oil pressure. Call dealership at open Monday morning, Was told to bring car in right away and the would swap out with a loaner. While checking in at dealer, was told they are 30 days out and they will squeeze in at some point. Kicker was they want to charge me $48 per day for loaner until they can verify there is an issue. Called Weber Chevrolet and Bommarito GMC and was told to bring car, they would get in right away and provide a loaner. Guess where we will be buying future vehicles and having service done. As soon as we pulled out of bay check engine light was on.

She found a second car and was denied being told she needed to find a car under $18k by the manager. She did but was denied again. She found a third car for $13k and denied again. The whole experience for her was a heartbreaking one. Even worse, the manager was misleading about what she could buy while a high pressure salesman wouldn't stop pushing more cars. I would never recommend this experience to anyone, especially a first time buyer.

This dealership isn't a strong haggling location, they price their cars competitively and can waive some fees. Jeremy in finance was great, got things moving very quickly and we were in and out of the finance office in under 10 minutes. It was the easiest finance experience we've ever had, he didn't try to sell us some insane warranty. James in detailing was great as well. They accidentally took off some tint from the sticker and offered to fix it for free. The dealership is clean and roomy inside as well, it wasn't the worst place to wait while the deal got approved. We would buy from here again, and are happy with the 2023 Honda Accord Hybrid we purchased.
