I bought a brand new 2025 4Runner here and had a recall on the breaks immediately. I scheduled an appointment with Darian at 11am. I waited for about 3 hours and I was told that they forgot to create a ticket to work on my car and I waited for nothing. Mind you, this service should had been done roughly by 1215. I get a call from the manager apologizing and that the recalled parts weren't even there to begin with. They rescheduled me next week, and I drive over an hour to get and I wait again. I am told THEY DONT HAVE THE PARTS AGAIN. They are consistently scheduling me to come in even though they don't have the parts. Darian who rescheduled me twice, couldn't even speak to me in person and apologize despite being two feet away from. Severely like professionalism. I see they have good reviews but this is an unbelievable level of incompetence. Massively inept at basic communication and never respected my time. Do not take your car for body service here! I recently had my car in to their collision repair center for a fender bender in which someone struck me in the rear bumper. They kept the car for 7 days and ended up painting the wrong side Of the bumper when it was noted on the insurance estimate. Unbeleivable! After I pointed out the problem they agreed to correct it although I can never get a rep on th phone. What poor business practice, and terrible service. BUYER BEWARE! The Jim Coleman Infiniti Collision Center has provided horrible service in fixing my 2010 EX35. I have been rear-ended twice and both times I have taken the Vehicle to the Collision Center for repairs. The first time, it took over three weeks for them to obtain a new muffler system. The second time, it has now taken over 3 months to fix rear-end damage. The vehicle has been returned to me at least 4 times after Mark Wolf (the manager) told me he had personally checked the vehicle and it met his standards for completion. The first time the vehicle was returned to me they had failed to address several areas of significant damage: i.e., the interior door leather had been ripped in the collision, I showed them this damage when I dropped off the vehicle and they failed to address it; a dent in the door frame that was pointed out to them when the vehicle was intitally dropped off had not been addressed; clear coat was chipped off of a newly painted bumper; the mud flap was loose and not installed properly; the back interior door panel was not installed properly; the painting job had dust spread throughout it. What I didn't see at the time was that they returned to me a car that was supposedly FINISHED and it was not even road worthy. They installed the turn singals improperly so that when the left turn signal was turned on the left front turn light came on and the right back turn light came on (and vice versa). Unknowingly, I drove around with this problem for several weeks before it was brought to my attention. On two occasions, I showed the service representative that the bumper panel was not alligned properly. The first time, nothing was done to remedy the issue, only after the second time did they fix. The back interior trim panel was not (and still is not) installed correctly and they refuse to fix it so I am now having to have the insurance company get reinvolved to have the vehicle fixed properly. Still, the back latch only works intermittently and on occasion does not close properly and prevents the door from shutting. Because much of this damage was not addressed when I first dropped off the vehicle, the "completion" time of the vehicle was extended over two months. The individuals that provided this horrible service were: Service Representatives - Mike Lee and Greg Bern; Manager of Jim Coleman Collision Center - Mark Wolf; Managaer of Jim Coleman Cadiallac - Don Curroso Only use this repair shop if you want the job done incorrectly, if you have a lot of time to double check and triple check their work, want to deal with unhelpful individuals and want to be completely dissatisfied and to receive repairs that are not done properly or correctly. read more

*** UPDATE ---- Patrick Coleman called me directly to discuss the issues documented below, our conversation went very well (very much appreciated!, we also also spoken many times over email which is a better form of contact for me given my work travel schedule) Patrick and I have reached a compromise on cost of repairs and the warranty cost paid has fully been refunded (I purchased another extended warranty through 'Auto Warranty Agency') *** I HAVE UPDATED MY STAR RATING FROM A ONE(1) TO A THREE(3) as the dedication from Patrick has been greatly beneficial in reaching a resolution to the issues I outlined below. UPDATE - recevied a call from the extended warranty company, then the dealership directly, the extended warranty I paid $2750 for is NOT VALID! - the dealership was not authorized to sell such a warranty, I am now awaiting a refund of the $2750 paid. I am out $560 to pay for the repair of a valve cover gasket on a vehicle I purchased less then 30 days ago - this is not about they money, it is about the shady business practice of the dealership. They have yet to offer $560 in restitution or an apology. Purchased a used car (with 3 month, 3k coverage) Selected a 2005 BMW Z4 with 84k miles to test drive and fell in love ... Before picking up my car, the dealer was preparing it for pick-up and broke the passenger vent; I had to point it out to them (they were not up front about it) and had follow the guy through the dealership until I got a written commitment they would fix it. Now a week later, no calls or contact to say the part is in and they will repair/replace it. I finally called them and they said the part is "on order" - poor communication! I called my BMW dealer (Passport BMW) they have the part in stock and it is a 10 minute fix. I don't believe they ever ordered the part. Today had my mechanic (Passport BMW) completed a multi-point inspection and found out the valve cover gasket has a leak, probably something normal with the year/mileage. Called Jim Coleman and informed them of this issue, they say they need to complete the repair YET they are not BMW certified or handle BMW vehicles on their lot often enough for me to trust their mechanics to repair it properly. The same people who broke the vent and were not honest about it. The Service Manager said on the phone 'we can't keep putting money in the car; we are not making much on it'. As a customer it is not my issue if you do not profit on the sale of a vehicle (I will say the price was excellent) BUT I expect professionalism and follow up on customer commitments. I also have an extended warranty on the vehicle, they will cover the repair of the valve cover gasket (if Jim Coleman is shady and will not cover it) - just beware! My service guy -Dennis Moore is great. When I first started going there it was lukewarm but he is very pleasant to deal with and he is honest about what I need to get done. Unfortunately they do run higher in prices for repairs and maintanence stuff. I go there for oil change every 3000 miles. An employee was going around constantly spraying. Everyone was wearing masks. I am very disappointed. I have been with Jim Coleman Toyota for many years, but this time it did not go well. My car, Toyota Avalon 2013 has 8500 miles. It was serviced in May, but I returned on September 4, 2017, before a long drive. A year ago, or maybe less I was encouraged by Devin Walker to buy service package for $300 - it was supposed to save me payment for the next three or four service appointments. After waiting for an hour, Devin arrived in the waiting room and told me that there are different issues with my car and it will cost about $200. It was written in pencil, by hand, and I agreed. A little surprised that in 3.5 months, with almost no additional milage, so much had to be done. An hour and a half later the car was finally ready and the bill as well: labor - $467.21 parts - $148.78 misc. charges - $11.72 discount - -$85 tax - $6.53 Total: 549.24 I honestly could not believe it. On top of it Devin, who "FORGOT" to mention to me the "labor charges" - asked me to give him a good review. I never even received the survey. I contacted the agency and they couldn't find the record of the service. WOW. All I asked for was to get the survey of service. I will never go back to this place. It is shameful to prey on people this way - he "advisor" of course made light of my horror - "you got a discount". I feel cheated. read more

Christopher on the Grey Team is especially nice and I now request him by name when I set my appointments. He calls and explains all possible repairs without being overly salesy, which is greatly appreciated. Wow is all I have to say... I have bought and serviced multiple cars for years with this dealership which is the only reason I am giving them the second star for their less than 1 star performance today.. I had a scheduled oil change at 10am which I let them know in advance I'd be waiting at the dealership for them to finish - typically maybe an hour wait, TOPS. I was there early, the car was taken back promptly so I was surprised when an hour and a half later it wasn't ready. The very kind woman at the counter, Melody (who to her credit really tried to help) apologized and said they had gotten backed up and the car would be ready in 20mins, they promised. An HOUR later and panicked because I would now be late to a 1pm meeting the car came out and they kindly waived the service charges. But no sooner did I leave and get a couple miles down the road than Melody calls and says I have to bring the car back as they forgot to put on the oil cap (seriously??!!!). ... Needless to say my meeting isn't happening, my day is screwed, and I'm more than a little nervous on what else may have been missed by the technician so I'll be taking my car in to another vendor elsewhere this weekend. After purchases, leases and servicing here for many years I'm pretty confident I won't be returning again (but I may try and hire Melody if she wants a career change). read more

Do NOT go here. Worst repair experience I've ever had. I took my car to Jim Coleman a couple of months ago for a minor repair (neighbor hit my car in the parking lot, less than $500 damages). The repair should have taken 3 days. I heard nothing back for a *week* and I had to reach out to them. Car was finally ready after 2 weeks (no extra hidden damage etc, should have taken 2 maybe 3 days). Keep in mind I had a rental this whole time and had no choice but to keep it because they had my car. They promised the insurance company will pay for the extended time. I was charged for the rental anyway and insurance refused to cover it because the repair should have taken 2 days, not 2 weeks...surprise! Yvonne, the person I spoke with, has been avoiding me. I have called them multiple times about the rental charge. It's been over 3 months and I still don't know if I'll ever be reimbursed. I don't ever hear back unless I call them. Save yourself some headaches and go somewhere else. read more

I took my car to Jim Coleman Infiniti in Bethesda in December of 2018 for some minor overheating problems. I was assigned to Devin Walker (The RED TEAM). After inspecting the vehicle Devin contacted me and suggested $3,112 in repairs to replace Radiator, Thermostat, Camshafts, Gasket, etc. In addition, he also suggested I replace the Driveshaft because it was completely done and could "break off and potentially kill me" (for an additional $2,000). I trusted his opinion and went with his recommendation, but I declined replacing the Driveshaft. Approx. 1 week after I picked up the car and paid a total of $3,112.09, I experienced the same issue with overheating. This time I took the car to Nationwide Infiniti (where I bought the car brand new). After inspection, Nationwide informed me that the Radiator and Thermostat both needed replacing along with a listing of essentially all the other items that Jim Coleman had apparently "Replaced". I was fortunate that Nationwide Infiniti completed the service under warranty (no issues there). While the car was being serviced by Nationwide Infiniti I asked them for a second opinion about my Driveshaft. Turns out the Driveshaft is in good condition (NO Surprise). I called Devin at Jim Coleman and spoke with him about the situation. To my amazement he was smug and seem very callous. His initial response to me was "What are you asking for from Jim Coleman". I said at a minimum I need the name of the Technician who worked on my car to find out if any service was performed at all. Devin responded that he'll need to have someone higher than him call me. Days later, NO CALL. If you decide to use Jim Coleman, I highly recommend getting a second opinion if your car is drivable. If not, have it towed to another dealership. It'll save you $$ and the headache. I HIGHLY recommend Nationwide Infiniti (long drive but totally worth the time). Ask for Nathan Espinosa. Jim Coleman is all about about making more $$ (even if it means recommending services you don't need) with no regards for their customers. STAY AWAY...... read more
