This shows the greens in the bottom of the container of Mac n cheese. And you can tell the amount of grease in the container by the bubbles!

This is a review of the Germantown Parkway location. I ordered thinking I'd get the same quality I received in the Olive Branch Location. I was wrong! The chicken was dry, the ribs were hard and the brisket had too much pepper on the skin. The Mac n cheese had collard greens in the bottom of the container and was swimming in grease. it was the consistency of Kraft stove top Mac n cheese But with extra grease and collard grease at the bottom! There was no smoke ring or taste to any of the meat. The last chicken I got in Olive Branch was smoked through and through, it took two days to scrub the smoke smell out of my hands! Don't waste your time at the Germantown location. if you want real good Jim N Nick's go to Olive Branch. This meal I was given was inedible. I had to discard it! A waste of $125!

We love some good BBQ and while we aren't in Memphis often not do we stray from Mission BBQ often, Jim N Nicks is always a win. The cheddar biscuits are life. We love the fresh hot biscuits and the honey butter. We ordered the brisket sandwich (moist) as well as the pulled pork nachos and an extra cheddar jalapeno sausage for $3 extra. The sausage link is worth every penny. It was cheesy and spicy and cooked perfectly. The nachos were filled to the brim with chips and had a great chips to topping ratio. It even came with extra queso! We are the nachos and took the sandwich and sausage home where it reheated great. I am going to have to eat here more often because it is really good and not overly priced. Our whole meal was $26. The server was busy, but on top of it and friendly. We weren't in a rush so we had no problem waiting for her to take orders in between getting a to go box and waters. The restaurant was clean. The bathrooms, not so much. Overall, we will come back if in the area!

My god I need to find me more Memphis BBQ like this. The Brisket was so tender and jucy and flavorful. It melted i to your mouth and punched it. The pulled pork had their house sause on it which was smooth with a little spice. The smoked turkey had a white sause with it that made it next level. I am not sure what was in it but it had a pepper kick that made me wish I had a drink of it while I had to eat some potato salad to clear the heat. And the best collard greens I have ever had. I will find Jim 'N Nick next time I am in town

Jim 'N Nicks catered our wedding nearly 10 years ago, and has always been a favorite of ours. We've noticed that some locations have gone downhill and converted their service style, but we were delighted that this location still functions like the OG ones! Full table service, complementary cheddar biscuits hot from the oven with honey butter. We had a phenomenal experience. I love their pulled chicken and brisket options, and their sides like Mac n cheese. The peach sweet tea is also amazing. I love when you eat a meal out and actually feel good about the money you spent on it LOL - and this was a meal that did not feel like a regretful use of our hard-earned dollars. So delicious, kind service, great quality.

Honey butter, cheese biscuits yummy .

At the time I didn't know it was a chain , but I found out later. Sometimes that's not a bad thing though. I found the restaurant was decorated nicely and clean. My waitress was very nice and informative since I told her it was my first time here. I got a Half Rack of Ribs with Wet Sauce on one side and Dry Rub on the other side. Bbq Baked Beans , Cheese Grits , Rolls , and Sweet Tea. The Ribs were tender and good. They have 2 Bbq Sauces on the table and I asked the waitress if they have any others and she said yes , a Honey and a Smoky Spicy one. I asked for the Smoky Spicy to try. I liked the Dry Rub side better and with the Smoky Spicy Bbq Sauce on the Dry Rub was the Winner. The Wet Side was Original Bbq Sauce and it was kind of plain to me. They also had this on the table with a Hot Bbq Sauce that was more or less like Texas Pete / Louisiana Hot Sauce. The Bbq Baked Beans were really good. The waitress said they are the best in town and I would probably agree even though I haven't been to any other bbq place in the Memphis area. The Cheese Grits were okay. They used like a White Cheese I think. I love Grits , but they could've did a little better on these. The Rolls were like yeast rolls like Texas Roadhouse , but better , melt in your mouth and you don't even need to put any butter on them. Sweet Tea was just right , not too sweet or not enough sugar. They had a display of their desserts , which looked good , but I was too full to have any. There is also a Bar if you want to have a drink and some appetizers. A wall with lots of pictures of Celebrities who have dined at Corky's is on display. Elvis and Little Richard are sitting at a table above the dining area watching to see how you like the Bbq. They sell shirts and sauces if you want to take some home. The menu is pretty large , so lots of choices for you to try. There is also an upstairs area for dining. If I lived here or was visiting for a while I would come back and try more. I usually prefer a more Mom and Pop place , but this was very good , much better than the Bbq I've had in Oklahoma.

Tasty sandwiches and with the slaw on top, it makes a wonderful meal. I enjoyed the sides as well. I bought a T Shirt before leaving since I liked this place so much. For some, this is a bad thing, and for some it's a good thing; it just depends on what floats your boat. Nevertheless, lest I digress. After some research, I found this place while traveling in Memphis, TN, called Corky's Ribs and BBQ. So, I invited two colleagues with me and went. Let me say that, truly, it was worth the wait for me. I ordered the 1/2 rack of ribs with coleslaw, baked beans, and a side of Twice-Baked Potato Salad. The waitress asked me how I wanted them: dry-rubbed, wet, or muddy. I was looking at her like she had three heads, and she explained what each meant. So, I went on the wild side (no judgment) and asked for muddy. My colleagues all ordered the same, and one ordered some Pork Burnt Ends , which were to die for. Ladies and gentlemen, or should I say, "folks," you're talking about some good eating in that place. As much as I wanted to eat all of it in this sitting, it would have been a sin and shame to eat all that food in one sitting. So, I did that ladylike thing and ate half, boxed up the rest to eat for dinner the next day, and called it a day. But wait, she brought out the rolls, which were still in the oven cooking as we were eating. Corkey, you know you are so wrong (in a good way), bringing out delicious rolls like that; are you kidding me? If you are in Memphis, TN, or passing through, check them out. The hospitality and atmosphere were wonderful. BTW, I heard our waitress reading off the dessert menu to a couple next to us, and I asked for my check quickly so I would not be tempted to order some or take it to go.
