First Impression: I'm glad I stopped by! Looks like Jimbo's has earned the following they have by putting their own spin on all time favorites. I noticed little details that make a big difference: Well thought out choices for breads that are particular to their signature sandwiches. Unique Spices mixed in with their onion ring batter. A baked sweet potato! Hey, why hasn't someone else thought of that. The Karma looked geuine as I noticed lot's of regulars going in and out of Jimbo's on 9.20.21 (while I inhaled my 10/10 Pastrami sandwich on the patio). Despite its appearance as a typical run of the mill "sports bar," I cannot recommend this place more. If anything, Jimbo's is fine dining disguised as a sports bar. The food is unbelievable and clearly made with thought and care. The servers are polite, personable and render the experience that much better (honestly). Stopped by for lunch, we ordered a hamburger with coleslaw and a Chicago style hot dog with fries. Hubby said the burger was good and I got to taste his coleslaw and that was on point. However my $8 hot dog did not deem to $8, I kinda felt ripped off. First it didn't even resemble the Chicago style dog, and it wasn't that great. Fries were not hot, very disappointing since we were the only couple dining while everyone else was on the other side of the bar. If I'm ever in the area again I will give them another try, maybe they have other things that are better but those dogs better come down in price, I can goto 7-11 and get quarter pound in equivalent. read more

I've tried quite a few things from this place, and they've all been delish. Quickly becoming one of my favorite places to go!

This place was a last resort place to eat after the original place we wanted to eat at was closed down and the other restaurant per yelp gave us directions into a country club. My hunger and annoyance got the best of me and we ended up here for the evening. Upon entering we were offered to sit in the bar or in the dining room area. It was amusing because basically it was a wall divider that was probably used back in the day for smoking and non smoking. We sat in the dining area because my husband and i wanted to hear each other during dinner. For starter we ordered the Thai calamari. The calamari had a little kick and had a nice crunch. I liked even though I love Italian style calamari better. My husband ordered the jumbo jimbo burger (? On the exact name), it consisted of a burger cooked to his liking with pulled pork on top. My husband ordered his burger with onion rings which were made with a yummy batter and were crispy. I ordered a 1/2 pound burger with three ingredient and a side of sweet potato fries. My burger was juicy and cooked to my liking. Overall, yes the food was good for being pub food. I don't recommend coming here for a date night like my night happen to be. One note, they do serve Lost rhino here which is a huge bonus in my book read more

Jimbo's was a great find. It looks like a typical sports bar, but the food and service were incredible. They're famous for their wings. We tried the grilled wings, half with honey mustard and half with Caribbean jerk, and both were delicious. Salads and sandwiches were way above average: try the Mac and cheese burger or the filet mignon sandwich on Focaccia: wow. We were visiting Manassas Battlefield, and Jimbo's is only about 5 minutes away. Highly recommended. read more

Love coming here for a quick bite. Usually the (amazing and can never go wrong ) wings and a beer. This time we switched up and decided to get burgers. We ordered the bacon Mac & cheese burger as well as the jimbos bbq. The jimbos was probably the best burger I've ever tried! The Mac & cheese was so underwhelming. When it arrived I didn't even know there was any mac & cheese on it. Tasted like a regular cheeseburger. Not bad but not what I thought it would be. This is my first time trying this restaurant. So I ordered chicken tenders that came with fries and Jimbo's BBQ Burger. My first impression was not so good, I opened up my to go boxes and all the fries were burnt. I didn't like the way they tasted. I smelled them and my fries smelled like earwax. The BBQ burger itself was good. It came well done like I asked and it tasted pretty good. I ended up just taking the buns off because they didn't really add anything to the burger. I would've hoped they would put pickles on the burger and maybe mayo but they didn't put pickles on the burger. I'm not sure if your supposed to ask for that. The chicken tenders were pretty burnt and there wasn't much there. The honey mustard that I asked for really brought it together. The chicken tenders don't really smell that nice and I'm overall disappointment in the quality of my food. read more

Ordered jimbo's as I have found memories of this place (pre-pandemic). I ordered the bacon cheeseburger with fries. Despite the fact that the burger was woefully undercooked (ordered medium, received something that was rare, at best). But, it was SO GOOD I ate it anyway, and I don't regret it! Juicy and flavorful, and ingredients and seasoning perfectly balanced! Didn't need any sauce or anything! The fries were pretty amazing too - crisp, well cooked, and similarly flavorful without tasting "salty". Well done, all around. I did knock off 1-star for how underdone the burger was, but will still be ordering again soon... this should be the go-to spot for burgers and fries (and other things, I'm sure!) read more

I love this place ! My wife and I eat here once a week or so . They respect the covid thing but there are always nice folks dining there and the staff friendly and attentive. Sometimes the food is too much and I take it for the lunch the next day. I had the fish last night and heated it up in microwave today and it was still just as awesome as it was last night . Husband and I were looking for a quick bite off of 66 that wasn't fast food. Stopped here about 730 last Sunday evening. The bar was almost full and with good reviews we thought for sure it would be a good experience...not so much. Took forever for a server to seat us ("Please be waited" sign was posted at front. When she did it was, "Anyone help you? No? Just pick a seat and someone will wait on you." Not very welcoming, but we were hungry and the bar was busy. Seated ourselves and our server arrived promptly. She wasn't friendly but she wasn't rude...just pretty blunt and somewhat preoccupied with the bartender. Drinks came quick as did our orders. Hubby had Cesar salad with chicken and I had the French dip with fries. Hubby said his salad was good. My dip was just meh, pretty bland. After we finished eating our server disappeared. Eventually I flagged down a different server and asked for our check. When our original server brought ours she hardly said a word, was too busy talking with bartender again. We have ordered from jimbos probably 6 times . Their burger is absolutely delicious. Their service or lack of service is not my favorite. Their fries are absolutely terrible. We have given them the benefit of the doubt but after sending a few emails and calling them to tell them they have an email , they have not addressed it. It's super unfortunate. I love to support small businesss but a restaurant that will not acknowledge poor quality or service is no longer one I will support. Holy SMOKES!!!!!! Can't believe I just had the best most properly made Reuben in the entire Commonwealth. Made to perfection. Not to dry, not to moist, just right. I guess I will call this my "Goldilocks Reuben." All kidding aside, this was the best Reuben that I have eaten in 14 years. If you're looking for a place to watch a game and drink a few cold ones with friends, don't let the one-star review turn you away. My rating is strictly based on the quality of the food and the service. My family and I ordered the spinach and artichoke dip as an appetizer and the flavor of the dip was lacking. The store-bought cheese they put on top was hardly melted and provided a thicker than ideal consistency. For our main course, my family (wife, son and daughter) and I each ordered cheeseburgers with the side of fries. I ordered my cheeseburger medium well and it came out much closer to medium (almost red inside). My wife ordered her cheeseburger with pepper jack cheese and mushrooms and it arrived with about 3 slices of mushroom on top of cheddar cheese. Even with lettuce and tomato on my cheeseburger, it was very bland. The french fries were warm, but tasteless. I'm pretty sure my family had the same opinion of their food since this was the first time I can recall that none of them finished their meals. I wish I could say service made up for it, but when we asked one of the servers if she could find our waitress so we could get a refill of sweet tea, our waitress put a cup of sweet tea on the table as she continued past our table and over to another section of the restaurant. She didn't even notice (or care) that three of our cups were empty. This review is only based on takeout. Went to visit some friends in Gainesville that frequently pick up food from here since it's five minutes away. My friend picked up the order so I had no interaction with anyone in the restaurant. The pastrami Reuben, fries, coleslaw and chicken quesadillas were excellent. The bread was grilled correctly so it wasn't soggy. The pastrami, cheese and slaw were a great blend. I'd say it was one of the best Reubens I've had in NOVA. The quesadillas also had a nice brown color rather than the typical white doughy ones you commonly find in restaurants. I didn't taste it but my friends liked it. When I told him it was incorrect he made a scene. He ended up crediting the entire amount (his decision) but was extremely rude about it. I ordered from here because I was hoping to grab food near my home. Had a pretty terrible experience. First of all, I drove all the way home with my to go order, only to find out that I was missing an appetizer, and one of my sides was wrong. I had to drive all the way back to get the correct order. Second of all, the food was not so great. The fries were soggy (even before I drove back), my burger wasn't warm, appetizer (crab stuffed shrimp) looked very wimpy. I couldn't believe I drove all the way back for that. The ribs did not seem fresh at all and seemed microwaved. Will not be coming back and do not recommend. Might be a good spot for a drink, but not for me. Also FYI to future customers, a lot of older folks from the neighborhood smoking right in the front. read more

I won't be coming back here but no one should care because I've only been here twice anyway. Today I still had a great waitress ( the two times I saw her) and I still had great nachos, as I did before, albeit a small portion. I did notice last time that service was slow but my gosh, this time was ridiculous! Not only did it take forever for the one dish we ordered to come out, it was really gross. Fish and chips. Chips (fries) were soggy and limp. The fish came out looking like over crisp fried chicken. The extremely thick and very overcooked breading on the fish broke like an eggshell and came off the fish completely, which actually was a time saver... I wasn't going to eat that anyway. I have never seen breading look like that. The fish itself had Zero flavor. Not a pinch of salt. Ketchup couldn't even fix that mess. I tried! I keep searching for a better word but the one that keeps popping up is "gross". I don't know how these ratings are so high. Must be the beer and hot dog menu getting the reviews. Also, this place was sooo freaking loud. It was boxing my ears. It wasn't music or the TV....somehow, it was just the talking. Must be something about how the place was built. Ceilings or something.
