This was probably the best decision for Jimmies Place. This location is going to be a huge hit -- just wait. You literally cannot go wrong with sushi and bowling. It's such a great combo . This location is on the corner of the bowling alley and great for parties of two! I saw a bunch of signs while driving home the other day for Jimmies Place. Ive tried the other location so I had to give this one a try. My husband and I didn't go bowling but I was excited they had brunch here too! We ordered the Matcha pancakes, pulled pork Benedict, and a dragon roll. Really wanted to order a milk tea, but they said the employee wasn't in yet. Food was absolutely delicious. Great music and such a friendly staff. The staff all made sure to say bye. Definitely the cherry on top!

Came here on a Friday afternoon for lunch and there were two other tables so it was a pretty chill afternoon. The restaurant is in the same building as the bowling alley and you can see the inside from the windows which is really cool. The staff were really nice and friendly and I ordered the dream boat and cherry blossom roll. The rolls came out pretty quick and they looked really nice. The taste was great and I liked the quality of the fish. Overall I would recommend and would definitely come back

Second location of popular sushi spot inside Pacific Ave. Bowl. Largest menu I've ever seen of sushi rolls, nigiri, sashimi, hot dishes, burgers ... something for everyone! I had the sexy dragon roll and tonkatsu. We shared the fried oysters and fried calamari as appetizers. My dining partners had salmon teriyaki, chirashi and more. Everything was served hot and fast and tasted great! Family-owned and operated. Great experience!! The original Jimmie's still is open on Country Club.

Been meaning to try Jimmie's after my extended family recommended it calling it good and reasonably priced. The calamari was very tasty, bouncy with fried jalapeños and onions. Loved that it wasn't too saucy. The Sashimi Salad was fresh, not overly dressed and the quality of fish was pretty good. My grandma got the Hawaiian roll. The rice to fish ratio was well proportioned. The tuna did look quite fibrous, but grandma doesn't have the strongest jaw strength either. Best thing we ordered in my opinion was the calamari! The service was friendly and quick. The place was clean. Prices were reasonable. Will be going back soon to try the breakfast!

what in the school lunch food???? the milk tea with boba was good, but everything else was genuinely cafeteria food. i got the chicken burger with nothing on it because i was sharing with my daughter and we were bowling so i didn't want her making a mess. i don't think some lettuce, tomato, and condiments would have made this much better. again, burger, cheeseburger, and fries all so bland and plain. the garlic cheese fries had the smallest amount of cheese and garlic known to man. they have a tonnn of japanese food which leads me to believe that is their specialty. if we weren't eating japanese food for dinner the next day i would have tried a few things and maybe had a different rating. service was also pretty slow and the guy at the register didn't really seem to know the menu. they also only have their kids menu during brunch hours which is so odd to me.

On Lenten season where you can't eat meat, we just jad to try this place. I'm used to the other location for pick up or delivery so was curious if its thevsame quality of food. This place didn't disappoint. Our server was hospitable, funny and very attentive hevwas even joking with my mom. Inside it was clean and orderly. We sat next to the window looking towards the bowling alley wich had amazing graphics. Fodd was good as my deliveries and reasonably priced. We will definitely come back.

MEDIOCRE!!! service was so slow, 20 mins of waiting and they didnt even start cooking the FRIES...at least the sashimi was good(also mediocre) $4 for drinks...?? um okay..floors were slippery almost slipped when paying they didnt give me change, but still tipped though. Maybe its because my table was just teens? people who showed up after us and still got their food faster. smh

Found this place while visiting my homie in Stockton, surprisingly the place is very cozy and nice and it has a bowling alley which is pretty cool in my opinion. Service is good, staff was polite and attentive. Food was mid in my opinion but maybe we just ordered the wrong things.

This Jimmies location at the bowling alley is unique! Food is always fresh and flavorful. Worth the visit when craving sushi! Service was 9/10, it was surprisingly busy for a weeknight. They were prompt even when there was a rush. Food: Calamari (Appetizer): 9/10 - First time trying it! It was crunchy, flavorful, theres a hint of fresh lemon juice, and a creamy sauce Green Dragon: 9.5/10 - My favorite roll! Mango Green Tea (not pictured): 9.5/10 - I got a lower sweetness level which was sweet enough for me, also got lychee as a topping, so refreshing!

    2x2x2 Eggs, sausage and pancakes

Food was hot and delicious. We arrived before the rush. People after our arrival had to wait to put their order in by 5 to 8 minutes. Only 1 highchair and 1 booster seat for the littles. Waiter appeared aloof at what his job was. Put a pat of butter on toast, not spread like normal. This restaurant is quaint but could use an update or cleaning of the walls.

The Ichiban Roll, after I almost finished it.

Fast friendly service. Cosy ambiance, clean. The food was very good. We ordered the Ichiban Roll, Crispy Cobra Roll, and calamari. First time trying Jimmie's. Will return soon! Delicious Rolls!

Good sushi, at a reasonable price! You have to try the specialty rolls, not the same people at country club but it is a good choice.

Ambiance was so so, more like a bar than Japanese Resturaunt. 2. Service was poor. 3. Food was fair, we had several rolls (too much rice) and a bento. I do not consider this authentic Japanese cusine. 4. The things that made me give this rating were that they calculated the tip on the total that included the sales tax and CVC fee, this is not honest. They also charged a credit card fee of 3.84%, first they do not pay this high of credit card charge to AMEX, also why not roll this expense in the price of the food and beverage. Very few places that charge this fee that I am aware of.

Their main dining room is already pretty big but they also have an additional dining room in the back that would be great for larger groups. I can't complain about the service, while they may be busy pretty much every night (that I've been anyways), they are almost always attentive and do a good job keeping our cups filled. What really has my heart here though is their "dry ramen" it's so flavorful and texturally pleasing. Not that I have a lot of dry ramens to compare to but I really enjoy theirs.

The reasons for 3 stars are: Not enough staff: we weren't greeted at all and even when the worker finally came to the register after waiting almost 10 minutes- she just stared at us blankly. She wasn't friendly, at all. She seemed really unhappy to be there and was unnecessarily cold. The restaurant looks like it's under construction. There's a line of metal poles lined around the inside windows that looks like it's meant to hold an L shaped counter- but no counter. There was sauce and crumbs on tables and chairs. Way more effort should be put into their customer service and the dining room atmosphere. Finally, the price! $40 for two combos at a fast food restaurant is insane. We liked the burgers well enough that we will probably come back but with these prices it won't be more than 1 or 2 times per year. Chilis and Applebees both have decent burgers for half the price and they have cocktails and actual Servers who smile and act like they like their jobs.
