Wow. Ok. Wow. I was such a doubter when I figured out that this place was at the bowling alley.... Wow was I soooo wrong to pre-judge. First of all, it's a separate entrance and smells clean and nice inside. (No smoky-ness at all). Second the service was friendly and you can see them cooking. Ok the food though. Holy moly it's sooo yummy! The pulled pork Benedict with the hash browns (which are soo crispy like shoestrings!) wow that pork, so good! The biscuits and gravy really really good. And the curry rice omelette (legit Japanese curry and not too spicy) so good, the Loco Moco .. really tasty gravy, will get again.. (tried it with the cheese and it was more like a loco moco cheeseburger.. so next time I think I'll stick with no cheese so it's like a perfect loco moco) So good! And close to my work?! I wanted to try a new sushi place in Stockton, we usually go to Lincoln Center - Sho-Mi's. Fast, friendly service and wonderful sushi roll presentation on "Dine In" and "Take Out". My FAV is just simple, fresh avocado and hamachi rolls. Ambiance is nice, bright and clean. I've dined here once and ordered To Go once too! Both times, wonderful, awesome and friendly service. Large portions and very reasonable prices too! Give it a try! :0) It's kind of fun to watch people bowling while you're dining here. Finally tried Jimmies Place for the sushi rolls and it did not disappoint. The fish to rice ratio was really good. Fish was very fresh. Service was great, it did get a bit busy and they did mess up my wife's burger order but they quickly made her a new one. Would definitely come back to try their other items! Lion King roll 8/10 (heavy on the sauce) Rainbow roll 9/10 Hamachi roll 10/10. So much fish! Wife got the Wagyu Burger 8/10. Solid burger but probably wouldn't get again compared to the other items. This was probably the best decision for Jimmies Place. This location is going to be a huge hit -- just wait. You literally cannot go wrong with sushi and bowling. It's such a great combo . This location is on the corner of the bowling alley and great for parties of two! I saw a bunch of signs while driving home the other day for Jimmies Place. Ive tried the other location so I had to give this one a try. My husband and I didn't go bowling but I was excited they had brunch here too! We ordered the Matcha pancakes, pulled pork Benedict, and a dragon roll. Really wanted to order a milk tea, but they said the employee wasn't in yet. Food was absolutely delicious. Came here on a Friday afternoon for lunch and there were two other tables so it was a pretty chill afternoon. The restaurant is in the same building as the bowling alley and you can see the inside from the windows which is really cool. The staff were really nice and friendly and I ordered the dream boat and cherry blossom roll. The rolls came out pretty quick and they looked really nice. Been meaning to try Jimmie's after my extended family recommended it calling it good and reasonably priced. The calamari was very tasty, bouncy with fried jalapeños and onions. Loved that it wasn't too saucy. The Sashimi Salad was fresh, not overly dressed and the quality of fish was pretty good. My grandma got the Hawaiian roll. The rice to fish ratio was well proportioned. The tuna did look quite fibrous, but grandma doesn't have the strongest jaw strength either. Best thing we ordered in my opinion was the calamari! Last night I ordered the spicy tuna rolls at around 9pm and picked it up at 9:45. Upon opening it up, I was hit with a pungent, fishy, awful smell, and the fish itself was a dark color for tuna. The texture was as if it had dried out after sitting for a long time. I still ate it because it's all I had for dinner, but today it gave me the runs. I literally ended up shitting myself while playing video games at the ripe age of twenty five. Do not eat here unless you want to shit yourself. I will say, it's partially my bad for ordering sushi that late, but ultimately it's Jimmie's bad for serving bad fish. If you guys KNOW your fish goes bad after a certain hour, then close your restaurant earlier. Don't serve the bad fish and make your clientele sick! Just common sense. read more

what in the school lunch food???? the milk tea with boba was good, but everything else was genuinely cafeteria food. i got the chicken burger with nothing on it because i was sharing with my daughter and we were bowling so i didn't want her making a mess. i don't think some lettuce, tomato, and condiments would have made this much better. again, burger, cheeseburger, and fries all so bland and plain. the garlic cheese fries had the smallest amount of cheese and garlic known to man. they have a tonnn of japanese food which leads me to believe that is their specialty. if we weren't eating japanese food for dinner the next day i would have tried a few things and maybe had a different rating. service was also pretty slow and the guy at the register didn't really seem to know the menu. they also only have their kids menu during brunch hours which is so odd to me. read more

On Lenten season where you can't eat meat, we just jad to try this place. I'm used to the other location for pick up or delivery so was curious if its thevsame quality of food. Eight year for the first time since it's been at the Bowling Alley, Jimmies food is always really good. However, there was a little incident I would say. as my friend and I were sitting there eating one of the guys behind the counter, decided to spit a snot rocket into the sink. We both looked at each other in total surprise. It was so nasty. I'm not sure if I'll go back to the restaurant. I will probably just continue to order and pick up from the original spot. There was only one person taking orders, which made the wait longer and gave the impression that customers weren't a priority. Very reasonably priced but on my last order the sushi smelled more fishy than it usually does from other places. The avocado in my california roll wasn't the freshest. Not very many simple options that don't include tempura or lots of sauces. If you order for delivery, the food comes in a foil cake pan with just saran wrap to protect it, so there isn't much to ensure your food isn't tampered with like a sealed bag. read more

I really wanted to like this place. Pros: It's clean and folks are cordial. Cons: music is annoying. I didn't go in for Sushi, but I had breakfast. Not the best. Bacon thin and papery, only one slice of dry toast, home fries overcooked, way too much salt, on everything, coffee weak as an old grandma. Slow service. Saw a man making batter or something in a bowl with an ungloved hand... Conclusion: I won't return for the Sushi if the breakfast is this mediocre. The check for two was $40 with tip. Sorry Jimmie. Jimmie's is already famous for his Sushi Rolls and the new location at Pacific Ave Bowl carries on the same excellence. This location also has a full Japanese menu, which is served 7 days a week until 9:30pm. Still more! Wednesday to Sunday 8:00am-2:00pm they serve an excellent breakfast and lunch. My brother took me to this place for my bday on Sat. The sushi was so good. Highly recommend. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming arriving and leaving. The place was very clean when we went. If u like crunchy calamari, I would recommend asking for the sauce and jalapeños on the side as a dip. I like it crunchy. That would be my only suggestion. It's not a complaint cuz it was still good. Awesome new restaurant. We often order from them via Door Dash but wanted to try it IRL. We ordered 3 rolls, ate two before remembering to take pictures. Of the two we didn't photograph the Honolulu roll was superior. Pictured are the Godfather roll and the Tuna and avocado hand roll. The hand roll was my favorite! Such a delicious combination. They just started serving breakfast and the menu looks interesting. Classics are served along with some unique Asian fusion dishes. Burgers and other American food is also available. The burger and fries at the next table looked good. Atmosphere is clean and spacious.
