Mmmm mmmm good! Definitely a step above Subway with way better quality meats/condiments and their bread is yummy. The peeps that work here have lightning fast sandwich making skills. By the time you are done ordering and paying at the register your sandwich is done at the other end. Wow! They deliver too! We have ordered Jimmy John's at work and for work meetings many times. It isn't slow paced delivery either. I was beginning to think they had sandwich making stations in their cars because when we order it shows up like five minutes later. Crazy Fast! The sandwiches have catchy names such as Italian Night Club, which is my favorite. Mayo, Italian dressing, onions, tomato, Genoa salami, Italian capitols, smoked ham and provolone on a sub roll. Oh yeah! Super fattening but worth it once in awhile. 2015-67

    $8.00?!

$8.00 for a baby sandwich that was very plain. Tons of lettuce, who actually pays for this stuff knowing what you get going in. I was in a hurry and wanted a sandwich, they were close and I figured you can't go wrong with a sandwich. Well you can if you go to Jimmy John's, $8.40 for a sandwich with almost no meat and a heap of lettuce.

    Viento

I think I'll pass from now on. Not worth the money. Where's the meat? Viento? Barely any ingredients. I feel like I'm just eating bread

    They have awesome signs.

I actually like this location more than the one by 185th. The food is actually quite good and consistent, but this one feels more like a restaurant and less like a manufacturing line. I am much more comfortable chilling and eating slowly at this one whereas I always feel like I am taking up limited table space there. As to the food. It's all good. Don't forget to order spicy peppers and wheat bread if you prefer.

Another good one is that kale salad with grilled chicken nuggets chopped into it. The mobile app situation is incredible. I place the order when we head out to the restaurant, and say I'm there about 5 minutes before we arrive (there's a spot where the timing is perfect) and we walk right in and it's ready. Store is neat and clean and staff is efficient. I've been to others that have friendlier or more chatty staff - however those were never locations I'd go to more than maybe once a year at best. So that said, I'll take fast, clean, quick and efficient over niceties any day. Even more impressive is that it's a very youthful staff so kudos to management too. Last reco - use the app you get points and free stuff quite often. My husband has gotten a brownie with points for every meal since after our first order, and the lake Oswego location offered a free fries for today's trip that we could double up with using points for his brownie!

I ate dry plain chicken strips and dry plain fries. I can deal with eating food with no sauce. We had mayo and ketchup available at work but I wasn't that desperate. For the peeps that need your sauce though, check your bags before you drive away. Curbside pickup was easy but they don't give you sauce even when it's part of your order.

We were there…read morefor a party but it didn't seem like they booked the party room specifically but there were plenty of other tables and booths for everyone with or not with the party. Everything is ordering by kiosk and the food is what you would typically expect from McDonald's, crunchy chicken nuggets, iconic fries, but sadly my McDouble was dry and they forgot the sweet and sour sauce in the bag. I think they are really trying with their service and you can hear who I assume is the manager trying to motivate the young workers by telling everyone they are doing great job. But with that said, it's pure unorganized chaos. They keep running out of the table tent which means that multiple people are waiting on their order with the "same" table indicator number so that can get really confusing. In addition, I waited close to 30 minutes for my food and had to go up and try to flag someone down to ask where it is. If you have time to kill and plan to stay awhile it might be ok, otherwise I wouldn't suggest coming here if you were in a hurry or expect your order to be correct the first time.

Today I decided to try again...sadly my rating will not change. First off I sat at the drive thru order mic for over 5 minutes. After the car behind me pulled around and to the second window to order, I did the same. I ordered with my code from the app at the pick up window. Simple order Buy one get one for $1 + Large Diet Coke. On the way out I felt around for my hash brown to munch, but i ended up unwrapping my biscuit instead. So I ate it. Got home looking for hash brown, and it wasn't there. It is a very good thing that I am just across the street because i pulled out and returned. I told the woman working the drive through that it wasn't in my bag. She asked me what my order was for some reason...I gave it to her. She said it wasn't in the bag because there wasn't a charge for it. First of all there was a charge and even if it was free, shouldn't have I received it? I don't know if this woman is the manager, but this location needs some assistance. I am guessing the mic/speaker doesn't work on the outside drive thru lane...The bag also had a hole in it so it probably fell out in the restaurant. No apology or anything.

I had the steak and chicken bowl, and my father had the barrera tacos, and we both were very satisfied. The lunch was very affordable, which I appreciated. I look forward to trying their chicken; it looked and smelled delicious. The service was great. The guy who took our order was very polite. They gave us one of those pagers that buzzes when it's ready. The ambiance was cool. It reminded me of a taco shop in LA. It had two separate seating areas. One was large, with flat screens, and the other was smaller near the register; both were comfortable and had ample seating. This place is literally seven minutes from my house. I will most certainly be back.

When we walked in for a Sunday dinner, we were greeted with the smell of roasting chicken and charcoal, a promising sign from the very start. It was pretty busy inside, but after ordering at the counter, the food only took about 15 minutes to arrive. Whole Chicken Meal ($27.74) - The meal comes with two 12 oz sides, an 8oz salsa, and either corn or flour tortillas. For the sides we went with the classic Mexican Rice and the Refried Beans. Both are pretty standard stuff from a Mexican restaurant. The rice is tender with still distinct grains, has an reddish color from tomatoes, and adds a scant amount of veggies mixed through. The beans are mostly smooth throughout, fatty and creamy. We went with the corn tortillas, of which they provide a whole stack of twelve, warmed until steaming, making them hot, soft, and pliable, perfect to eat with the chicken and sides. The chicken is legitimately amazing. Basically the entire restaurant smells like chicken fat being charred over mesquite. It's a mesmerizing smell that made me salivate upon walking in. The chicken is whole roasted with the dark meat and wings being cooked until succulent and juicy. The interior of the breasts are a bit dry, but there's not much that can be done with this cooking method! Otherwise, the char is excellent, creating an almost crust-like nature to the skin and the spice mix imbues a yellow glow to the entire tray. They give so much food that we only finished perhaps a quarter of it. We ended up bringing the rest home on our drive up the next day and ate it for another couple of meals. (5/5) I especially love their salsa bar off to the side of the main counter. There's so much variety, there's surely something to please anyone. They have a mild tomato, a mild but smoky, a spicy and fruity, a green tangy tomatillo, a creamy avocado, a crunchy fresh pico de gallo, a smoky and spicy, and a tangy and spicy salsa - basically all combinations someone could ask for. Even the spiciest additions are still very tolerable to my tastes. We were impressed enough to visit again the next day for lunch: Supreme Burrito al Pastor ($14.37) - This is hefty burrito, almost Mission-sized, being around 4 inch in diameter with the weight to match. It's first filled with plenty of Mexican rice, same as with the meal. For some reason, this time, the rice is hard and tough, like they had reached down to scrape the bottom of the rice cooker. It would likely be the most coveted portion of rice in a tagine or clay pot, but in a burrito, the toughness doesn't work well. On top of the rice are the refried beans, spooned over intermittently. It adds creaminess and fat to the otherwise dry exterior layers. Then the layer of meat begins - cubed pork, marinated in a savory and sweet sauce, then mixed up with chopped pineapples. It's more adobada than al pastor, and is on the sweeter end of things with the pineapple. The spice mixture isn't the most notable; they definitely focus on the chicken at El Jefe vs. the pork. Veggies, including lettuce and a pico de gallo mix cover the meat, followed by thinly shredded cheese and sour cream, which is thick and rich, perhaps more resembling crema than cream, and some guacamole, tangy and fatty. It's not the most even application - for example, the guac only covers one end of the burrito while the sour cream covers the other end. (4/5) I have to say, the chicken served at EL Jefe Grill is perfection. I would revisit just for that. Bathrooms - Two unisex rooms Note: El Jefe charges a 2.9% credit card fee. This is displayed at the register, but they have their POS set up incorrectly. Firstly, they lump the cost into the menu item instead of separating it out into a fee. Secondly, they actually charge a random fee rather than 2.9%. For example, the whole chicken meal is 3.1% and the supreme burrito is 2.7%. Very bizarre. I reported it to their management so hopefully it gets fixed soon.
