This establishment is very frustrating. They tell me I am out of range for them, yet they deliver past my house. Once out of every 10 calls they will finally deliver. But they always so it's their policy. But is it there policy to drive by my house for a mile but won't turn down my street and drive a couple hundred feet. Very frustrating that they cannot appeal this and drive to me. They would gain so much business as me and my 3 roommates try to order at least once a week hoping to get the cool guy that will deliver. This is s great Jimmy johns. The employees were super friendly and until place was kept clean and tidy. Sandwiches were made fast. Lots of options. If there is anything to complain about it's the location. It's located at a busy intersection which means you can only pull in from certain directions. Of course this isn't gonna stop hungry person but it took me a few extra minutes to figure it out. This location is on Hall in the strip mall with lamps plus and kitchen caboodle. Just a block from Washington Square Mall. My favorites are the Pepe and the Beach Club! Yum! read more

Good sandwiches, but sadly not willing to help make my kids happy with their order. They only have 8" sandwiches. I have small kids who are picky eaters and will not eat an 8" sandwich. They were not willing to put half salami and cheese on one side and half ham and cheese on the other. I was told, "We don't do that here." They lost what was going to be a 5 sandwich order. I had a Tuna and I have to say it was the most disgusting sandwich I have had. The bread was so hard I could hardly bit it, the sandwich it self was dry. I must say that I was pretty excited to see this place pop up on my map at a new client of mine. I have had Jimmy John's many times up in the greater Seattle area, but haven't found many close by for me in Portland. It was everything I remembered. I've only done there delivery as a friend from work recommended it to me. They literally only took 10 minutes to get to me once i got off the phone! The food was pretty good I had the porker! I do wish they had the option of being toasted but still in my opinion better than subway. read more

I am giving them an F for customer service. I walked in a 3pm to an empty store with at least 4 people behind the counter, 2 with backs to me at the order place. I walk past with with two young children headed to the restroom before someone spoke,"Hello". I got the the rest room door and one person yelled , " rest rooms are for paying customers only" I reached for the door, but before I touched it she said " they are locked" I just glared, "Do you want a 6 year old to pee on the floor?" I asked. "Its company policy " was all that she said. Nothing else. I walked out. As I left i said, " You have just guaranteed that I will Never buy a sandwich here" Any person who walks into a store is a customer. You can give them a good experience (I want to come back here), A average experience ( neither good or bad) or one that makes sure they will never be back. This is only the second time I have been in a Jimmy Johns. The other was a purchase in Cedar Hills and I did not need to use the restroom. read more

I hate mayo...pretty sure anyone who orders "no mayo" has either an extreme dislike or allergy to the slimy nasty gelatinous goop. I ordered no mayo and they gave extra mayo. Had this delivered to my work for my short lunch break, clocked out when it got there, then wasted half my mealtime and half a roll of paper towels removing it as best I could. I called the sandwich shop, and since I didn't have time to receive another one the manager was nice enough to give me a $10 credit. I called the next day to place an order and added some extra things for coworkers to use the full credit. I use the menu they had given me the day prior to add up the cost. The total they gave me was 2 dollars over what it should have been. When I questioned this the associate told me that there was a $0.25 charge for each item to be delivered. Having only ordered three things I questioned why there was two dollars in additional fees. The employee on the phone couldn't answer my question. When I got my receipt the itemized totals for each item didn't match up with the prices on the menu and also didn't match up if the price was to be an additional 25 cents. As I inspected the receipt I realized they had also charge me a randomly priced delivery fee for the avocado spread that they put on the sandwich. I realize that none of these complaints are very significant. It's not like I can't go on living or afford to be overcharged...but after Jimmy Johns irritating the crap out of me two days in a row...that was surely my last order. In fact two days later when I didn't have lunch at work, I satisfied my appetite with slimfast, pretzels, and fruit snacks (on a 12 hour day). read more

Their delivery system is the most ridiculous I've ever had to deal with. I ordered online, and got an email saying it was going to be DELIVERED. And HOUR later I call to see what was up and they tell me that they don't delivery out that far. Understandable...but my next door neighbor has deliveries from their all the time. I used to order from this Jimmy John's pretty frequently as they are super close to where I work and I a lot of times have to have things delivered as I can't always leave for lunch. The last few months the quality has gone down A LOT. Their bread is always rock hard, 2 of the male drivers I get forget parts of my order half of the time, and it takes way longer than it should most times to go a few blocks. I dealt with all that as it delivered and not much in Tigard delivers, however they are now charging a delivery fee on top of price and tip. I always give me drivers at least 1 20% tip on the online order and if they get to me fast I give them a few extra dollars cash. With the added delivery fee this makes it one of the more expensive sandwich places in the area now. I can get Firehouse Subs for $4-5 less and better sandwiches. With the added cost I can get grubhub or postmates for close to the same price as JJ's now. Or for around the same price get Panera delivered. Our office used to order from here several times a week. Now we rarely do, with the added delivery fee I don't think anyone will. Today one person took sandwich orders for the staff and went to grab them at Firehouse. There are so many sandwich shops near here for mediocre food I don't know who would drive there and with as expensive as delivery is now it lost it's one saving grace. If I want a sandwich I guess it will be Firehouse, Subway, Togos, Potbelly, Elephants, Jersey Mike's, Beaverton Sub Station, Which Which, or Big Town Hero as all of them are a 5-10 min drive from the mall area with better food. We've been patrons of JJs for about 2 years now. We recently moved from Oregon City and the JJs over there is AWESOME. Great food, always fast, and they get the order CORRECT. We've been in Beaverton since July, and the JJs over here always screws up our order (we usually order about 2-3x a month). If it's not a sandwich that's missing dressing or another item we paid extra for, it's that they forgot to include packets, or our sodas are only half full...there is always SOMETHING wrong with the order. Even when I ordered tonight, I specifically requested they don't forget mayo/mustard packets (which they didn't), but they then forgot to include the cookie I PAID FOR. I don't see the need to call and request the driver to come all the way back for a single cookie, but I am fed up with this place, which is a shame because we do love their food when it's made correctly. Where do I start not real happy . So I called the Lancaster store gave my address and they gave me the number to the store on Commercial in Salem . Just a quick question about not only the false advertisement but the overall comment from the GM. as he called himself . This is how he tried to make me feel better after saying we don't deliver in your area he said you can meet at such & such place which was almost to where the location was he said we have a reputation of fast service . This is a no brainer I'm Not Going to meet someone at a drop off site to save me like maybe 6 blocks from the location not comfortable meeting in some parking lot . Not Happening I basically told the GM. that I would be writing a comment and leaving Yelp review & the oh well attitude was not fair.
