I tried to simply reach out to the owner of this location however the email sent was ignored so perhaps the owner will wake up and take thier business seriously. Here is what i wrote. Hello! We have loved and enjoyed your product weekly with the exception of closure due to covid since you opened your doors in Creve Coeur on Olive. Your wonderful staff over the years have always been courteous, accomodating and made your customers feel appreciated, great representative to this owners sandwich shop. This evening my wife and I traditionally grab dinner to go on our way to the muny. I was expecting the regular greeting, welcome to Jimmy Johns. Nope. The 2 women at the counter did not smile and actually made me feel unwelcome, just stared, no hello, nothing. I ordered a sandwich and specifically asked for no cheese. She did repeat the order. My wife ordered a sandwich no cheese and asked for the combo. She added additional for cheese. We had her make the correction after we saw the charge on the register. After i paid, my wife asked for the drink cup, the woman said, oh i only rung you up for the sandwich. She is not a good listener. So she added the almost 5.00 for chip and drink. No thank you from neither employees. When we arrived at the muny, i couldn't believe she put cheese on my sandwich, thank goodness I'm not allergic, just don't like it. No napkins. I seldom eat sandwiches and have never had one delivered but there it was Sunday afternoon and I hadn't left the house all day. I began to go over delivery options. I was sick of pizza and have vowed to never use those third party delivery services. Hey, who knew Jimmy John's delivers? I'll give it a go. I ordered THE VEGGIE (hand-sliced provolone cheese & tasty avocado, topped with lettuce, pickle, oil & vinegar, jimmy mustard, onions) and added BACON! Pro move, right? I also got a diet Coke and the BBQ chips, and a pickle. My order arrived in about 18 minutes! That's SO FAST. It came correct and my only minor complaint was no straw but I'll live. I had a sleeping kid so I ordered curbside pick up. I sat in the curbside spot for over 15 minutes. I finally had to wake my kid up to go in. The four people working or servicing one person at the counter. I asked if they had curbside order ready appointed to a bag by the door. Zero intention of honoring curbside. Then the chips and the drinks weren't even ready. There was a girl there who said she was normally a driver but helped complete the order and apologized. She was great. The guy making my sandwich literally rolled his eyes, dropped his shoulders, and sighed loudly when I said I didn't want mayonnaise, then gave me a dirty look as he started over. Maybe wait until I finish speaking my order, and you wouldn't have had to toss my sandwich and waste all that energy on grabbing another loaf of bread. Same guy wouldn't add anything to my sandwiches because "it wasn't on the board". He was so fussy and unprofessional. The lady who checked me out was nice, as was the gentleman who bagged and handed me our meals. Freaky Fast? More like Freaky False Advertisement. It's been 54 minutes that I've been waiting for a sandwich from a place that is 2 miles away. This store is across the street from my office which takes me 6 minutes to get to on a work day during traffic. I called to cancel my order because it's going to be over an hour before I get one sandwich. It's 2:37 p.m. on a Saturday. I really doubt this store is "slammed" with orders right now. These sandwiches aren't difficult to make. It's not like they're toasted or anything like that. The sandwiches are really good. Especially when I need a latenite snack. This location happens to be open till midnight everyday. Tonight was my first time experiencing Jimmy's amazing french bread. It takes them on average 30+ minutes to get my order to me( I live within 2 milles from this location). The Jommy John's app auto selects this location, but there is another location equal distance from my apartment which has WAY better service. read more
