We have never had JJ's before so we decided to stop as it was lunch time and we had been on the road all morning. The staff was super friendly and explained the menu to us. I was in awe of how fresh and delicious the meat, produce, and bread tasted. It definitely didn't have that "subway" taste. We also used their restroom and it was very clean and nice.

This is a very good Jimmy John's location. The restaurant was very clean and the staff were very accommodating and helpful. Also, the bathrooms are extremely clean. I was doing a long drive and the clean bathrooms were much appreciated. I recommend this John's location, if you are in the mood for a sandwich.

Easy place to stop while on the road with grandkids. It was clean and staff helped us know how to order.

They did not put any bacon on my Cubano, which is one of the reasons I got that sandwich. The staff was rude and dismissive.

There is absolutely nothing freaky fast about this place. 30 minutes in the drive through to move ONE car length.

Legit. Consistent with every JJs I've visited. Good service with a smile. Good sub. Good location. Locals and tourists eat here.

It's in a…read moreconvenient location right off of the interstate and right in the hub of various restaurants and stores. Gas prices are cheap, and I understand it's not "as great as Chevron with Techron" but I've been getting gas here all my life and my car has never broken down on me. So until that happens, I'll just keep coming. I'm very loyal to my Maverik treats, however. And will go to my grave saying they have the best road trip snacks. Cookies with an entire Reese's Peanut Butter Cup, hot cocoa, constant deals on candy bars and drinks--the occasional Cinnabon or Krispy Kreme. I promise you, whether you're craving something salty, sweet, chocolately, or sour, you'll leave a few dollars lighter and a few pounds heavier (hey, just live a little). This is a great pit stop as well, the bathrooms are always clean and smell nice. Plus they're more than a one-holer, and that in itself is a hole-in-one for me. TIPS & TRICKS: * Grab yourself a Maverik Card to save some money on gas. * If you're looking for a movie, there is a Redbox on site too!

I would give this Maverik zero stars but that's not an available option. I have stopped at this…read morelocation many times when driving thru Evanston, but I will never stop here again. Besides being small, not enough gas pumps, not enough restroom stalls, and always out of hand soap and/ or paper towels... they recently sunk to an all time low. They placed a giant advertising sign out in the middle of the yellow striped area of the parking lot that is for wheelchair loading and unloading. Also for ALL customers to have a clutter free entrance and exit to the store. When my hubby moved the sign onto the sidewalk up next to the building. The night manager ran out and tried to put it back!! Hubby said "that's against the law. You can't put anything there." Red haired manager - "Corporate told us to put it there!" Every other Maverik I've been to lately has the same sign. But always up against the building near the chopped fire wood or the bagged ice freezer. This is the only store who thought corporate told them to violate ADA laws, then had the nerve to yell at a customer trying to help them be more compliant with laws. Having this walkway clear provides easy access to their building for EVERY customer. I mean who wants to trip over a giant sign trying to get in or out the front door? Want something better to do with your time than running out and trying to put giant signs back into spots where it's against the law? Try wiping down your sticky counters. Try mopping your sticky floors. Hand soap in the restrooms would be nice too!

We got chips and salsa, a side of queso, an order of 2 street tacos and an order of flautas. Overall the food was average. While the salsa was fresh and flavorful, the queso dip was obviously out of a can, bright orange and tasteless. The street tacos were shredded beef and carnitas; both were served with double-corn tortillas, fresh chopped onion and fresh cilantro, but the meat fillings were bland, and the carnitas were not as crispy as I like. My co-worker had the flautas (rolled and deep-fried tortillas stuffed with meat and cheese) - she said they were ok but a little greasy. I probably would not eat here again, but will say that the menu is large and it could be we just ordered 'wrong'. Our server was very nice, the interior was clean, and I did enjoy the murals painted on the walls too. This place is located in a strip mall just off the highway in Evanston. Very convenient location with plenty of parking.

We came from out of state hoping to have a good experience. Barely any people inside but wasn't given chips and salsa I had to ask and wasn't checked on at all during our meal, felt maybe only selected people get good service. Also, can't believe that they charge for refills when the cups are so tiny.

This place is attached to the bowling alley and we arrived around 2:30 ish and it did look closed from the street since no one was there at that time but they were indeed open so definitely don't let that sway you. The ladies were friendly and welcoming and we found out they make most all the sauces fresh in house. We opted for the Bacon Jam pizza which was a nice change of pace. Homemade bacon jam, steak, grilled onions and green poblano and corn I believe... it was delicious. We also ordered the pickle fries which were hot and crispy and the homemade ranch really was perfect for them. Thank you Moria and Ashley we wish we would still be around on Thursday to come in again for $1 bowling and to try another pizza, but sadly we were just passing through. We were immediately concerned that the menu had changed pretty considerably when comparing the menu that's currently available on Yelp. We switched our previous decisions as to what we may have ordered, and looked at what was available currently. (They apparently have had a change of ownership/management) We ordered a pepperoni, with olives, mushrooms and fresh garlic. It was a really good pizza! The toppings were generous, and the sauce and cheese were delicious! it was the kind of slice that's difficult to get to your plate without leaving a string of yummy mozzarella that refuses to let get of the pie! The crust was really tasty too. They rub the outer crust with garlic butter for a really nice golden and garlicky finish, and although it was close to being a little too brown on the bottom, it still had a really nice crunch and chewy nature. It was a wonderful way to end the day! The folks at the full bar were very sweet and friendly, as was the bartender/manager/owner/chef (?). We will definitely go out of our way to visit again when driving through, maybe we'll even have time to bowl!
