I've worked in the restaurant industry for 10 plus yrs and this is just sad to see this is was it's become. No standards, and no accountability just mediocrity. All employees have an ear buds in one ear. You just stand awkwardly until someone finally acknowledges you. No smiles no nothing. Customers service is gone. It would have been 1 star but at least they know how to read and make a sandwich. The door was left open for some reason even through they had A/C maybe cuz they burnt something because it did still smell like something was burning. Pretty decent "fast food" sandwich. This location is located next to the mall. There is a took of parking. This, like most locations is long and narrow with seating down the side of the restaurant. I like to order the #11 "Country Club" (turkey, ham, provolone). It normally comes with lettuce, tomato and mayo. Pictured, I have made some modifications (no mayo, sub Dijon, add onion, oregano and sliced pickles). If you want your sandwich or pickle cut in half, you have to order it that way. The ingredients taste fresh. I like that they put the sauce in between the meat and cheese so that they bread doesn't get soggy. Good call. However, my only trouble is sometimes the bread is a bit on the tougher side, like it's a day old or something. I have had nice interactions with the employees at this location; although I only live 2 miles away but somehow am "too far" for their delivery line. Not a biggie, just seems strange. I believe the sandwich, chips and pickle ran me a little over $11. Not bad for lunch. read more

Came here around 5pm on a Thursday with my three kids. This location is clean and just as wicked fast as you have come to expect of any Jimmy Johns location. They were so patient as my kids hemmed and hawed about what to order. By the time I paid for our food, all 4 sandwiches were done. Restroom facilities were clean as well. I have a unique review to leave, and it's not about your food, rather it's about your thoughtful employees. I'm currently sitting at the Starbucks on Everett Mall Way, and I saw a gentleman in a Jimmy John's uniform walk in as an elderly gentleman using a cane was walking out. The man with the cane dropped his coffee, and your employee checked to see if he was okay, picked up the cup, and walked him back in to get a replacement coffee. He stayed with the man at the counter while they waited for the coffee then walked him back out, holding the door open. That is a young man who was raised right, and he is an excellent representative for your company. I think I'll need to swing by Jimmy John's for lunch. read more

Called in to ask when I'll get my order and the people were very rude. 2nd time it happened I did get a credit to my account. When I used said credit I verified how long it would take to reach me...wanted to make sure it wasn't going to be an hour again. Lady said 30 minutes. It's been an hour and I'm still waiting... Update: called the store to see where the food was and it got delivered to the wrong location. Lady who answered the phone then blamed me for not verifying my address... I paid 20 dollars, I later found out the same order could be done much cheaper if you order it the correct way. 1 STAR only because I actually got to eat my sandwich. Ordered online to avoid 1. Minimal time spent inside establishment 2. Minimal interaction with employees. I'd like to think that ordering online puts less pressure not having the actual customer in front of you. I'm also assuming that they get to read off what someone ordered and get to complete that order in a timely matter where then, after you complete that order, you can then notify the customer that their order is ready to be picked up. The waiting game began checking on app, email, text, every 10-15mins. 45mins later I decide to call in thinking maybe they're busy or there's a hiccup in the system.. No, i guess not today either. No sincere apology or empathy was expressed. Just a "Oh, yea it's been already ready." And I waste a reply with "Oh, I didn't receive any notifications" just to be told "Oh, sorry". Headed over to the store not 1 hour since placing my order. Deciding to keep my cool and let it be. Side note but very important.. the entrance/door to this location is really awkward. Businesses usually PULL to enter, PUSH to exit. This was the other way around. You already have me upset with the order and I gotta deal with your awkward door. I ask for my order and head home. I quickly notice that the napkins are missing (order option checked). I have some at home so I'll be fine. I get home and open our sandwiches to find them not cut in half (order option checked) I have a knife at home so I'm ok. I asked for no tomatoes (order option removed) and boom there they were. It's ok though. I ended up taking them out. What's the point of having me click these options and not have any of them even be acknowledged? Bread seemed a little old and possibly reheated. I get the sub that's roast beef, ham, provalone, tomato, mayo, and dijon - in a lettuce wrap! (cause I can't have bread). Damn it to Hell it is good. Maybe it's because it's been a long time since someone has made a sandwich for me but I was in heaven with this baby. So much so that I went back the next day and got another one and lunch for the rest of the fam. They enjoyed it almost as much as I did. Their pickles are also quite good. Easily the worst Jimmy John's to use. Save your money. Today was the last day I ever order here. I ordered online a #15 Tuna and it arrived without TUNA. How does that even happen? They acted like they didn't believe me so they ask for the sandwich to be returned to them to verify. I waited about 20 minutes to get the 1st sandwich and another 20+ for the 2nd. The sandwich then had a strange odor like wet dog... just disgusting, plus tuna was on the outside of the bun smudged all over and just a sloppy mess. Clearly, someone was upset to have to remake a sandwich or doesn't care. I've ordered so much food from this place at my company due to convenience, but after dealing with regional managers and their store managers, they continue to prove that they do NOT care. This location earns a few points just by actually delivering to my Everett clinic location! As for the food itself, it's not bad. The bread is definitely nothing special, but it's not unpleasant. First I had the "Totally Tuna" which was pretty good but messy (and I think I'll hold the cucumbers next time), and then next time I tried the "Billy Club" (roast beef and ham) which had a nice balanced flavor although it just begs to have bacon added. I've been in here a few times now. It's located in the Everett Mall parking lot, in a mini strip mall. The outside is always clean, the glass door and windows are usually always clean too. Inside the shop isn't too super huge but it's been consistently clean. The employees are always helpful, upbeat and nice. The music playing is hit or miss on if it's good or not and it's usually just a tad louder than I would like but it's not anything bad. The ladies room is always well stocked and clean too! The sandwiches are more basic than subway but I like the bread much better. And the veggies are much fresher. The sandwiches are about 8" and you can get some basic ones. I always get the Turkey Tom. The Turkey meat is great and I appreciate that they don't over stuff the sandwich so you can actually take a bite easily. The cookies are just OK, not worth the price in my opinion. And while the chips selection is pretty basic, they're decently tasty. I've never had a pickle but the drinks are good size. In all, it is just another JJ chain. I wish it would deliver further out than one mile from their store. Decent food for a decent price. And you get consistently great customer service. read more

I've now had Jimmy John's 3 times, once from 3 different locations so I'm only going to review my experience at this location: I ordered the Turkey Tom on 7-grain bread. My husband picked it up for me on his way home since there isn't a Jimmy John's near us, so my experience could have been because of the transit time or my choice in bread since I DO like Jimmy John's sandwiches from my other experiences. This was my first sandwich from them. My husband told me that they had to remake it because my request of bread was not noted... now I'm kind of wishing he'd just brought me the sub :D I will try this location again and may give a higher rating but for now, its mostly based on taste. Walked in on a Sunday, no one was here. I asked for help with the menu, as I had 3 young children with me. I stepped aside and let 3 other clients pass through as I walked through the menu with the kids. I went to order, and the manager was standing behind the cashier rushing her. As I ordered 3 slims for the children, one without capicola- the manger told the cashier to hurry. I then asked for 2 Italian clubs, without mayo. I then ordered 3 bags of chips and 4 sodas. The cashier asked for help with the quantity button and the manager told her to hurry up and just ring it in manually. When I went to pick up my order, the boy wrapping sandwiches told me to reach over the counter and get my own bag. They did not have both Italian subs(problem was mine said boy, they didn't charge me for it). I filled our drinks and went to sit down. I looked at the receipt and noticed they did not charge me the listed price for adding chips and soda($1.00 more). When I spoke with the manager, he asked where I saw such advertising and said they no longer honor that because they want to match Seattle and Bellevue prices. I asked the manager why he chose to rush the cashier, instead of helping with customer service aspect and he replied that he was timed and needed to get everything out on 30 seconds. He then gave me the other sandwich and said that he was sorry if I felt rushed, but the pricing on the menu was wrong and company timing procedure was more important than service. When I worked in Bellevue I ate at Jimmy Johns almost every day since they were in the same building. I haven't eaten there in awhile because now I van-pool to Everett so I have no car to go to lunch in, and even though there are 2 JJ's within 3-4 miles from work neither deliver. Had my car today and thought Great! I can have an Italian Night Club....so sorry I came to this location, should have looked on Yelp first. Smallest Italian Night club sandwich I've ever had. Looked like it came from Subway (hardly any meat/cheese), and had no oil and vinegar! I know you have to order the peppers if you want them but ALL of the Italian Nightclubs I've ever had (and that's a lot!) have oil & vinegar. Tiny little sucky sandwich that the owners should replace for free. And to add insult to injury, the bread was old, hard on the bottom, not the yummy fresh bread I've had at EVERY OTHER JJ's! Plus, the oatmeal raisin cookie I bought I couldn't eat because it was hard as a rock and obviously MORE STALE than the bread my sandwich was on. To the sandwich that is usually ready by the time you've put your CC away in the your wallet and are walking towards the soda dispenser. Good solid reliable food. First: The #9 may be the perfect cold sub. A nice meat to veg to bun ratio and a satisfyingly chewy bun. Not too moist, not too dry... Just right. But, when it comes to delivery after 8pm: "Subs so SLOW you'll freak." I can get a pizza delivered faster than they deliver a sandwich and bag of chips after 8. They're extra fast around 6 to 6:30 (3 times in a row). But dear god, 45 to 50 minutes (2 times in a row) to bring a sandwich half a mile that takes them less than a minutes to make? At that point I'm better off putting on pants and going to get it myself. So, to review, awesome sandwich, fast delivery early evening, but the delivery suck kicks in somewhere between 6:30 and 8pm. read more

I have loved Jimmy John's for years and this location is no different. We probably eat here 1 or 2 weekends a month. It's great for delivery on a crappy hungover Sunday. :) I read through the reviews and I have to disagree with all of the rude service and crappy bread comments. Part of the Jimmy John's experience is the obnoxious hello's and goodbye's but I really enjoy them. Pretend you know me and pretend you like me. I approve. And they're fast. It's what they're known for after all. The sandwiches have been remarkable accurate. I think the fact that I typically order online helps prevent mistakes but execution is part of that too. Here's a little secret: HAVE THEM TAKE THE EXTRA BREAD OUT! Yeah, I went all caps on that. It makes your sandwich a bit thinner, more manageable, and a whole lot less likely to squirt the innards out all over your paper. You're welcome. My favorite is the Vito or the Italian Night Club, hot peppers added. A decent variety of Italian meats and toppings to make mouth happy.
