We ordered delivery, so I can't comment on the physical restaurant location. Jimmy John's advertises lightning fast delivery, and they deliver on that promise. You can track your order online, and it arrived much sooner than I thought it would. The delivery guy was extremely nice. We ordered nine different sandwiches, as well as chips and drinks, and all of our items arrived as specified. I had the tuna on wheat and requested extra veggies, and the staff loaded it down with extra lettuce and tomato. The wheat bread was really good too. My only complaint is that the online ordering portal is tough to use, and it doesn't list the menu by number like the restaurant does. Of course, that's a corporate issue with the website and doesn't reflect this Jimmy John's location. I'd recommend ordering online from here if you're in downtown Greenville and the delivery range. read more

This my second time and third time going to a Jimmy John's restaurant and now I totally get the hype around Jimmy John's. My first visit to Jimmy John's left me confused about all the hype because I thought the sub was just ok and not even as good as subway. After visiting this location my mind has been blown on how good Jimmy John's can be. On my first visit I ordered the Little John Pepe which is 6.5 inch sub with ham and provolone. It tasted great and only costs $3! The next day I ordered the Little John Vito which has salami, capicola, and provolone. It was great as well. The staff is friendly and quick. Inside the restaurant it's a little cold and they don't have napkins on the table and you have to specifically ask for them. Give this place a try, I hear Jimmy John's is famous for their delivery but I've never tried delivery. read more

Radically understaffed. Yesterday they had to turn away customers and close online ordering because they are so understaffed there was a 40 minute wait for a sandwich. I think the only reason I got mine was because I had ordered online 2 hours earlier. I looked up their ad for new hires and it said they were paying "up to $11 an hour." That is not a living wage. If your business model doesn't include sufficient pay for staff, guess what- You won't have the staff needed to run your business. Although there was a $3 delivery charge + tip, it was still a great deal as the sandwiches were so big that half were saved for lunch the following day. I ordered an unwich for delivery today and it got here exactly at the delivery time I specified, 12 PM. I just have to say that this unwich was hands-down the best wrapped food item I've ever consumed. Like whoever is responsible for intricately tucking those lettuce leafs and tightly wrapping the paper around it is clearly a wizard of dexterity. This wrap was swaddled better than baby Jesus himself. All I had to do was slide the paper down as I bit into the crunchy healthy goodness of a turkey bacon unwich. Awful service, Genetically modified ingredients (The Jimmy John way) Went there a couple of weeks ago, received some of the worst service I have ever in my life. The counter person was biggest jerk rolling his eyes all while touching his face and digging in his ear while he took our order's. The managers are terrible. Upon entering I watched a seemingly ignorant girl act ghetto to a fellow employee. Very unprofessional. The manager was arguing with a delivery carrier (who know the streets) trying to expedite orders and group them together to be more efficient and the manager wouldn't let the carriers do their jobs. The carrier even said "this next order is in the same building, why don't I take both?" The manager who obviously did not know the area refused to listen. No wonder the wait time on sandwiches there are terribly long for deliveries (sometimes over an hour,) The managers are incompetent and are running that place VERY inefficiently. read more

This Jimmy John's is literally a block away from where I work. I order once a week, or at least I used to. It is the slowest restaurant for just throwing stuff on bread. The last 3 times I ordered, it took over 30 minutes for them to get me my sandwich. When I lived in Clemson, it took an average of 8 minutes for my sandwich to arrive at my apartment, which was a mile away. The delivery service here is absolutely pathetic. DO NOT order from this Jimmy John's if you want your food "freaky fast." Order a pizza instead and get it faster. read more

Jimmy John's is known for having fast delivery service, but I have never experienced this. It usually takes about 45 minutes to an hour for the food to be delivered. They also never actually cut the subs in half. If you are going to say you will deliver fast, you should stand by it. read more
