I see all the bad reviews... but Jimmy John's is actually pretty good!!! I come to this location at least 1-2x a month and most of the time they are really fast. It's even better if you use the app to order ahead of time and your order will be ready when you arrive. Their bread is SO good... warm, soft inside, and just a touch crispy on the outside. I also like all the toppings like cucumbers, jimmy peppers, crispy onions, etc. Now they have gyros on the menu which was pretty good. The new cucumber salad wasn't that good because it had pickles in it too. My favorite side is the pesto pasta. I usually get two extra for later! Give it a try. read more

Came here today just to grab something quick to eat. Jimmy johns subs are always pretty good for the price! This location was nice and has a drive through which is very convenient. The man at the window was very kind to me and was happy to hear him say I had some rewards to redeem (most times the cashier wont mention there is something to redeem). I got the number 12 and was satisfied and felt like it was fresh but was disappointed when I saw no avocado on it. I just can't be a Jimmy John's fan. It's ok, but I'd much rather have a sub from Publix, Jersey Mike's, Firehouse, or elsewhere. I guess I just don't get excited as others; like my wife who loves their subs. To me their subs remind me of something I could make at home; no real flavor. I've had the spicy Italian and the Cuban subs from here and both times was a little let down by how bland the sandwiches were. Service here is great. Literally the slowest Jimmy John's I have ever been to. From the moment I pulled up to the speaker I waited two minutes. Then it took an extra six minutes to get my sandwich. We had tried Jimmy John's in Fernandina Beach and really like the tuna subs so decided to order here. Did order, it was a take out from a coupon that came to my email. It did take a few tries on line (little complicated) but I finally got order in. Went to get, building in between several other fast foods. Everyone was friendly, seemed well staffed and though not yet noon...there were several customers already there. We ordered from the drive through just before noon today, 12/10/23. While waiting, the guy at the window was having issues with the register. A woman on the food line, wearing gloves, walked over to him and showed him what to do by touching the buttons. Then she proceeded back to the line to grab the lettuce for our sandwiches. The cashier was still having trouble, so she did it again. She was also intermittently touching her headphones. I told the guy that we were leaving because she was touching stuff and the food. Side note: We stopped going there a year ago because the cashier was touching the register with gloves, then going over to help wrap the food. We decided to come back a couple months ago and was happy that girl was no longer working there. We were excited because we like the sandwiches. However, we will have to avoid it again. read more

Jimmy John's has good bread. When living in Minnesota, it was the best sandwich I could get. I'm originally from NY and JJ's has an approximation of an Italian combo. They make it with Mayo, which in my mind has no business on an Italian. When compared to Subway JJ is a five. The service at this location is slower than most JJ's though to be fair I've not gone much since moving to Florida. (Publix has the best subs/wedges in FL.) My youngest son loves sandwiches and wanted to try. I asked for mustard on my sandwich, didn't get it. So again, better than Subway, I think mostly better than Firehouse. read more

As I pull up to the drive thru speaker, I notice two employees with headsets are outside smoking cigarettes. A voice asks for my order. As I start to order, one of the employees bends over to put his cigarette out on the ground and proceeds to walk back inside through the back door. As I finish ordering my rather involved sub, the voice asks for me to repeat my order. Apparently he couldn't remember it as he walked straight from his cigarette break to the register. Pretty gross. I grew up in the town Jimmy Johns originated, So If I choose to spend my money on a quick lunch my go to is Jimmy Johns. I loved that they gave military discount because being supported by a place you support kept me coming back even when service has been horrible. Today, I was told their not allowed to give a discount to military, only the police. Got an unwhich, usually it's fully wrapped in lettuce but only the top portion was wrapped the rest had the meat just dangling! Very disappointing. read more

Only delivers within very small distance from store. Per Google Maps, it is a 4 mile distance to my house from JJ's. Luckily all the chinese and pizza places are willing to drive the distance for my business. Girl who answered the phone was polite and genuinely spoke as if she was sorry for the inconvenience. I've only had JJ's once before and I wasn't too impressed; Larry's giant subs and Firehouse do a much better sandwich. I was just hoping to give a second chance. Failed miserably. Great, genuine, honest location. I order frequently because it's in close proximity to my work. I placed an order one day and the bread wasn't the softest as it usually is. I contacted the location and the area manager Stewart got back to me promptly. He fixed the situation and I am beyond pleased with this location because of this, I will continue to give them my business. read more

Your drivers should not be parking in handicap parking spots (at Dogtown USA) while delivering the orders.

We walked in at 8 pm, the food was half put away, the sweet tea was put away. They had enough lettuce for one unwich. We were told by one employee that they were closing in 30 minutes and another said they closed at 9. We ate in and they closed the drink station without asking us if we wanted anything more. Basically it was all they could do to wait on us and get us out of there. We like JJs but will spend our money at Jersey Mike's. read more

This place is crap they couldn't even get my information right so 30 minutes later I get a call from them that they didn't get my apartment number and that the driver had to bring my order back to the store then I wait another 30 minutes so I called to cancel and they tell me my order is canceled. I go to get my lunch elsewhere. When I return home I have old Jimmy John's waiting for me that my roommate thought he was helping me by signing. When I called back and asked why my order was never cancel like she told me it would be she was very rude telling me want someone signs they can't do anything in and told me to call corporate and hung up on me. I love to stop by here every few months or so. I always have a roast beef with a lettuce wrap instead of bread and it's always fabulous. The staff working the drive through have been nice and I've never had an issue with them. It's a great place if you need something fast on the go. read more

Jimmy John's is either very good or very bad. This location on San Jose Blvd. in Mandarin is hit or miss. I'm often unhappy about the quality of the bread which sometimes is cold and hard. Often orders are incorrectly built. I have contacted them at least three times to put them put on notice about what I didn't receive on my sandwich. I want them to succeed, but I want them to start paying better attention to what their customers are asking them for and to make sure that they don't make sandwiches with bread that's cold and unappetizingly hard. I'm not close enough to be able to get delivery and so once I have driven over there to pick up my sandwich and then gone home and found out it's not what I expected, that's really unacceptable. I had a sandwich at the store in near Tinseltown on Southside Boulevard. It was the absolute best sandwich I've ever had at Jimmy John's. I just wish I could get that every time. read more

This review will be awesome and fast just like Jimmy John's. The sandwiches are inexpensive starting around three dollar range there customizable and regardless how you order super Duper fast. Never tried delivery but I've been in the restaurants, drive-through, and also ordered online. Anyway you order it they make it in about five minutes. Online is awesome not complicated you can customize their sandwiches even get names written on them which is good for large orders and pay online. Before I can make a decision on what cookie I wanted, my sub was done, & I hadn't even paid for it yet. I haven't taken apart into it yet, but it looked pretty good.
