First time visiting this location and I was highly disappointed. I stopped by to pick a quick lunch for the family in the drive thru and the service was awful. I was told to drive up and wait because they were making the fries , however when I finally got the bag they weren't hot. The burgers looked thrown in the bag and messy. The chicken tender game in Jax has been lacking with Popeyes being my only real choice. But now? Hardees just sent Popeyes packing. Each time I come here for breakfast something is missing from my order, rather I dine in or go thru the drive thru. Me and my aunt ate in last week. Her food was brought to the table. I had to go back up to the counter to ask for my food to then be asked what did I order again. When we left we both realized we never did get our hash browns. Today I ordered 2 cinnamon raisin biscuits and two steak biscuits for breakfast for my parents. The person in the Drive-Thru asked me to pull up while they cook fresh steaks for the steak biscuits. Someone came out and handed me my bag. I drove to my parents house only to discover when I went to give them the food that there were no steak biscuits inside of the bag only cinnamon raisin biscuits. So I drove back to Hardee's and went inside to get the steak biscuits. So my parents now have two cold cinnamon raisin and two steak biscuits. The staff is very friendly and the breakfast food is fine, but I don't think I should have to go through this much to get what I paid for. read more

What a great representative for the hearties Carls junior chain. First When I asked if the biscuits were soft or crunchy today she said give me a second came back and said they are in the softer side. Next, when I came up to the window she had the most beautiful smile that was genuine and a great representation that she takes pride in her job. She took a genuine interest in me as a customer by her open ended questions and buy the constant smile on her face. You can tell based upon her demonstrated actions that she truly likes working with people and she likes her job. It was pretty good ( for fast food ) the burger kinda reminded me of 5 guys! COVID-19 UPDATE Without commenting on the quality of food at this restaurant, my family will no longer spend our money there as it was evident that the staff and management had no interest in using personal protective equipment (PPE such as masks and gloves) while taking orders or serving patrons. We observed this several times before deciding we will not return. We do not, nor will we in the future, support businesses that place their profits above the health of their employees or patrons in direct contravention of CDC guidelines. Well, another one bites the dust. Apparently this Hardee's is severely underemployed. We arrived at 10:10, thinking about a good Hardee's breakfast (good is relative, don't judge). There were 11 cars in the drive thru (first signal of being understaffed), 7 of which hadn't placed their orders yet. 6 cars pulled off while we waited in line, all of them behind us. We placed our order at 10:27. Sure some people order slow, but that wasn't the case here--getting the food out was. This is what the post Covid world looks like, and I wonder if fast food as a concept is dead. The lady who took the order was kind, sounded exasperated but competent. The gentleman at the window who took the money was super nice and smiling. We got to the window at 10:32, received our order of 4 biscuits and 2 drinks at 10:38. It's fast food folks, minutes matter. The delivery was accurate, food was tasty, on the level of what you'd expect from a good Hardee's. As we were leaving we noted the line around the building was now out onto San Jose. I can't help but think that if the hundreds of dollars lost by being understaffed were salvaged and directed to the staff working so hard, there may not be a staffing issue. Food for thought. Got a drive thru #1 combo. The burger was messy but it didn't appear to be flame broiled, just griddled. I thought all the burgers were flamed broiled, but I guess not. This location, although slightly grubby and outdated, is well within what I consider acceptable conditions . Overall, I'm surprised this location wasn't busy and patrons present were older folks. I had no problem with the food just the cashier by the name of "KAREN." She was SO RUDE to the elderly man in front of us. BIG BAD ATTITUDE is what comes to mind! He was trying to show her a coupon and she just rolled her eyes and was telling at him. When he told her he just wanted a sandwich she handed him a cup and he ask if he could fill his drink while waiting. She seriously tried to make him seem stupid! I ask the man if he understood what Karen was saying. His reply was no not really. He just kept assuring me that it was ok. Then a very nice cashier by the name of Jessica came to take our order and apologized for Karen's behavior. It is people like KAREN that will ruin your business if it continues. You know when you have that feeling for some what I call garbage food. Or fast food to most of ya'll. I try to pride myself on not eating from fast food corporate places. Local is usually in my wheelhouse. But, every now and then when traveling g or sometimes you get a graving. This morning was one of those or I am just tired of the selection around my job theses days. I can only pay 12-15 for a fair at best breakfast so many times then I'm done. So today I was early for work so I decided to stop at an old fav. Hardee's for a breakfast biscuit. Not please don't tell my bosses I don't think they would take it well. The biscuit this morning was their new something egg scrambler with bacon ( or what I call baconOs) sausage ( I know sausage) and some cheese on a brick like biscuit. Now building g a biscuit restaurant I know biscuits. This one did what it was meant to do. Fill the hole and that's what it did. I try not to eat burgers, or fast food in general, but when I do it needs to be really good. This place is my "give me", the one place I'm allowed to cheat on my normal diet. About 6-7 years ago Hardee's got a new CEO that wanted to make the last place you'd ever get a burger, the first. He changed their burgers by using quality "black angus" beef, and adding fresh tomatoes, lettuce, and red onion. This idea was totally different than the other burger joints that we're going cheaper, cheaper faster ingredients, with a cheaper price. Surprise, his idea worked, and he spawned a whole new industry. Now you can get an "angus" burger at McDonalds, Burger King, or pay $10 for a burger (fries not included) with unlimited toppings at Five Guys. None of the competition have yet matched the quality of the original $6 burger here at Hardee's. It's not just the supermodels or beefed up photos that make these burgers good, they ARE actually really good. Be prepared to wait a bit longer for your food, as they are actually going to make it for you. Service is generally good, depending on location and crew. This location is probably the best in Jax in terms of quality of preparation, and service. Burger, large fries, and a large drink's gonna run you just under $10. My advice, if your going to eat a burger, eat a good one. Try the $6 burger, worth the wait, and the calories.. read more

When she approaches each car and points to mine, I can hear her talking about me. The other cars, honk and one guy yelled at me and flipped me off.
