When City Centre Market opened we really did not think anything about it because normal delis are just that, delis full of deli food with sugar and carbohydrates. City Centre is very different. First of all, for the sugar and carb eaters, City Centre has a bakery and a small grocery line with pasta, soda, rice, ice cream, and chips, so do not panic. For the ketoers, however, City Centre is pretty spectacular. They have a huge selection of sugar free and low carb foods. They carry a lot of salami, meat, and cheese, as well as pickles, pre-packed hard boiled eggs and bulk nuts. They also have Halo Top and Quest brand frozen pizza and snacks. There is a full salad bar and coffee bar along with produce from the Food Co-Op. City Centre has kitchen and home essentials like laundry detergent and soap as well as lotion and baby wipes. They also have a small selection of dog and cat treats and food. Their facebook page lists the following: Sandwiches toasted or cold Full Espresso bar with Nitro Cold Brew Breakfast Sandwiches Smoothie Bar made with Fresh Fruits, Vegetables, and coconut water 100% vegan. The owner came out to thank us for stopping in and the employee who checked us out was friendly and helpful. Mr. MVP is happy to have a healthy and convenient option right on the downtown mall and on a busy week it might take the pressure off meal prep every so often.
