Awesome place! Awesome subs, awesome service!!! They certainly have a tasty sandwich menu and always have a slice of pickle to top it all off! One of our favorite subs are " Cajun chicken" and "Italian sub" . Yummy! But I love all of their subs, which ever you choose on the menu you can't go wrong. All the subs that I have tried did not disappoint me at all. They were all delicious! They have a huge variety of sauces! Firehouse has a rewards program which is easy to sign up for and use. You just need to download their app. And they always have promotions. Every time I come to this location the staff is awesome. They are always friendly and welcoming and attentive. Highly recommended! Try them out and you will not be disappointed.

We always get friendly service and great food at this location. A few seats indoors, not a lot. Maybe five or six tables, seating two each. I think there's one table at the end that seats four. Flavor variety soda machine indoors. Outside seating. The hot bar is back!

It's Tuesday 7/9/24 at about 4 pm. Nice clean place and well lite. The counter facing the parking lot could have used a little cleaning. All the tables and the floor was very clean. No greeting upon arrival or when leaving. No smiles. These pretty girls need to be more welcoming. The food was served hot and fresh. While our subs were a bit pricey, they were very good. They serve coke products which is also a plus for me. Lots of free parking.

Me and my husband ordered dinner last night for us. We waited 5 minutes for our order to be taken, which is normal. But what we didn't expect was what was in our food. My husband got the brisket sandwich, barely any meat on the sandwich. I got a hook'n'ladder, which is my usual go to, I was really disappointed. We get home and eat I get 2 bites in and I'm pulling white parchment paper out of my mouth.. they wasn't really busy, there was 1 table and 2 call in orders ahead of us. Their pickles were pitiful compared to what we're used to. All in all would not go back to this location. At $15 a sandwich you would think that they would take their time and make sure that there were no problems.

This hook and laddrer took 20 minutes ti make

Huge fail. Dont go at 1:33pm on a Monday. I showed up at 1:11pm and there were several employees and a guy who seemed like a manager or boss man. I placed my simple sandwich order and pretty much all the employees left except for 1 lady and a guy. I am the only customer here and it has now been over 20 minutes for a small hook & ladder sandwich! Big fail on timing and I should have gone to Freddy's next door. These guys have no idea what they are doing!

Ordered the new York steamer. Was supposed to come with pastrami and corn eek. Lettuce, tomatoes, and italian dressing. They asked if I want everything on it and I confirmed. All I got was beef and cheese...totally wrong and it wasn't even busy. Five girls standing around. Check your order before you leave on a to go order.

This place is nice. The kids that run this place are nice and courteous. I recommend this place to any one who is hungry.

Overall a great location. I can in at a shift change and there was no hiccups. Food was quick and the quality was excellent. Bathrooms located in the back. Staff was professional and quick. Place was cleaned multiple times well I was there. If you own this location the team deserves recognition for the great work. Not saying they don't get it already.

Turkey bacon ranch, missing the turkey and the cheese!!

I went to buy a sandwich for lunch and ordered the turkey bacon ranch which is a hot sub. I ordered it to go and took it home to eat. When I started eating something didn't seem right so I looked in the sandwhich and there was no turkey and no cheese!! They obviously don't care about doing their job right or pay any attention at all to what they are doing. Who makes a turkey sandwich with no meat!! Incidentally it also wasn't hot. A complete failure to deliver a simple sandwich. I had to work hard all afternoon without any protein so wasn't feeling too good by the end of the day. I had tried to call the restaurant at lunchtime but their phone doesn't work. I contacted the online chat for Firehouse subs and the only response I got was that the restaurant would get back to me about the problem, which they never did. I was finally able to get through to the restaurant in the evening and the person I spoke to said they could give me a refund if I came into the restaurant with my receipt. So I had to go all the way back to the restaurant the next day to get a refund for the sandwich. While I am grateful that they gave me a refund having to go back there was an inconvenience and I really think they could have done better than this. It's pretty bad that a sandwich shop would give you a meat sandwich with no meat, the main ingredient! Seriously unbelievable.

All I am going to say is wow! So many choices and their sandwiches are thick. Being available for pick-up or delivery during this pandemic, they're still very communicative as they called to confirm my order after a few minutes of ordering. I thought they were calling to say that it was too late to order or out of something, but nope, just a nice confirmation call. Social distancing when picking up your order. I was surprised how big the sandwich was for what you pay for it. It made my night!

MAR Y TIERRA BURRITO - It's still the lightest burrito that provides the most size. I can't say enough good things about the aioli that they use to add flavor profiles to the shredded vegetables used to add body to the burrito. The steak and shrimp used here were good as usual, and the cheese added in is always a welcome surprise. Pescado Taco - The grilled fish taco is one of their better tacos. It's a meaty fish bite, and you get the "signature" slaw + avocado slice. Baja Taco - Most of their tacos are given the sauce + slaw combo along with the protein. I feel that the baja improves in my taco ranking depending on how much fish I get per taco. The batter is amazing and it's really a question if you want to eat fried fish or not. Camaron Taco - Crunchy shrimp, and very good slaw. But I feel that the shrimp is best paired with the steak, thankfully, they have a mar y tierra taco, which I think is the better thing to order. Ambiance: It's one of their bigger branches, so finding a table isn't difficult. Everything else inside the store is stock standard to all the branches I've been to. Service: You order, pay, and they call your name to pick up your food. Straightforward.

Looking around for local places, we saw Polaris Street Café, near Spring Mountain Road and Polaris Avenue. Polaris Street Café was feature on Robert Irvine's Restaurant Impossible episode. The restaurant was redesigned as well as it's menu. Some of the options on the menu are features by Chef Irvine's episode, which is pretty cool! The restaurant services breakfast, lunch and is only a few minutes away from the Las Vegas Strip. There is limited amount of parking spots available at the restaurant though. Inside there is table and booth seating with two different sections. My husband and I had a table towards the entrance of the restaurant. There was also outside seating available, but it was pretty warm outside, so everyone was mostly inside the restaurant! Some of the menu items include the following Biscuits and gravy Steak & Eggs Waffle Sandwich Omelettes Skillets Griddle options (Pancakes etc..) Breakfast Burritos and more. While looking over the menu, the team member did bring drinks (Soda and a water). We ended up ordering the following Mexican Burrito: Included scrambled eggs, chorizo, green bell peppers, cheese, avocado served with hash browns Country Fried Steak and Eggs: Fried beef steak, scrambled eggs, hash browns and I opted for sourdough toast instead of the biscuit/gravy combo. As we were waiting for our meal, I did look up online the history of the restaurant impossible episode about Polaris Street Café and how the owner started the business. Highly recommend checking it out online if you get a chance. The food was fantastic! My country fried steak and eggs was delicious. Interesting, the gravy had mushrooms in it which is something new for me! The flavor was scrumptious though! I added the scrambled eggs on my toast which was yummy! I had a bite of the Mexican Burrito and it was packed with flavor! Service was fantastic at Polaris Café. I had several team members come up and refill my Pepsi multiple times! The food was delicious, and the price for the meal was good. I'm not in this area too often, but I would come back to this restaurant again!

More please, indeed…read more Mas Por Favor Taqueria y Tequila is a taco shop and speakeasy in the massive and often cramped Center on Spring Mountain strip mall. It's closer to the Valley View end and can actually be easy to park at in the afternoon if you're going for happy hour as I did (available Monday all day, and 3-6pm on other days). I wasn't quite sure where to go so I asked an employee up front about doing happy hour drinks, and he showed me into a long hallway dressed up like a mining tunnel. At the far end was the door into the bar area, which was pretty empty mid-afternoon until some other parties joined me. I sat at the bar and looked over the menu a bit then placed my order. First out was my happy hour cocktail. I chose the Mas Dog 20/20 ($8.00 happy hour)), which sounded like a decent if very fruity gin cocktail and came out pretty sweet and very fruit-forward. Turns out it's inspired by something called MD 20/20, which sounds like malt liquor but for people who need it to be sweet. It was actually pretty decent to sip on but isn't the best match for what I ate, and I ended up squeezing limes into water. The food came out all at once. I really wanted to try the Elotes ($3.00 HH), a delicious creamed corn app topped with crushed Hot Cheetos. It's actually a really addictive dish and one of the most fun bites of the whole thing. I also tried one of each taco available on the current happy hour menu. The two Street Tacos ($3.00 HH) were both solid, with barbacoa serving as the more delicious beef option while the carnitas were actually not as dry as other versions I've had. The mild green salsa and somewhat more medium-ish smoky orange salsa were both great complements to both of these. I enjoyed these, and one of the other tacos, despite the stone cold tortillas they were served on. The two Signature Tacos ($4.00 HH) were a little more dichotomous. I loved the Muy Caliente with its al pastor, chipotle sauce, jack cheese, and Hot Cheetos crumbles. The Gringo, on the other hand, was as boring as or worse than the archetype of the white person taco, with no crispy shell or tomato to help with the monotony. Luckily, I had some lime and salsas to play with, so I wasn't bored to death. I enjoyed the speakeasy area. It wasn't too dim, especially at the bar, and the favorite weapon of the T's in Counter-Strike was on full display behind said bar. There was a mariachi-sounding song being played when I first got in, but they inexplicably moved on to what I later realized was a music video playlist from the top of the aughts, aka my formative years listening to top 40 / pop / hip hop. Quite the nostalgia trip, especially when I later found out that my bartender and the couple who also decided to sit at the bar were from my hometown. I would come back to Mas Por Favor for happy hour, maybe Taco Tuesday, and definitely some of the other interesting signature tacos on their regular menu. It may not be the most comprehensively awesome spot, but it's at least a pretty solid option for eats and drinks.
