Unfortunately, this was a very disappointing experience. To begin with, the restaurant was extremely dirty. When I arrived, I stood at the counter for at least 30 minutes without being acknowledged. An employee answered the phone and walked right past me without offering any assistance. I eventually had to ask if the restaurant was even open. The cashier was also very rude and appeared unhappy to be at work, which made the experience even worse. Overall, the customer service was poor, and the condition of the restaurant was unacceptable. I'm not sure what is going on at this location, but management definitely needs to address these issues. Based on this experience, I would not recommend this location. read more

Was advised that that couldn't be done so I asked for the larger ham sandwich that was heated But what I received was the unheated little John. 2nd. mistake made I requested the pickle to be sliced; it was not. 3rd ordered the ultimate Italian I received this sandwich the meat & bread I very burnt & missing cheese... which was very disappointing on this visit. But the biggest of all is when I called the store to speak to mgr on duty First call they hung up on me, 3 of my calls weren't answered & the final last call I was placed on hold for over 8mins. I'm sorry, but I've eaten Jimmy John's all over the country and this was by far the worst I've ever had! The picture I took shows the extra lettuce, which is laughable. It also had tomato on it, which I asked for it not to have, no oil and vinegar (another ask), and the bread couldn't have been more stale. Scheduled or ASAP, it's never ready on time. This is a 30 minute minimum sandwich shop. The time you'll be stuck on their parking lot is not included in that 30 minutes. I've always had great service from Jimmy John's, but the Broadway location didn't hit the mark. I ordered pick-up online. I put in everything exactly how I would have if I would have been there in person. When I got to to picking up my lunch, there were 10+ employees scrambling around ( the drive through line moved at a snail's pace around 1pm). I was greeted warmly, and then given a big bag of all the wrong order. Sandwiched had non of the correct toppings and the orders were all mixed up. Usually at places like this, your reminded to get your chips and drink. I had to ask the employee for cups, and then of course left without the chips in my order because I was already so frazzled about the whole experience. I am applauded. This is the second time in a row that I have ordered a sandwich from there and it be terrible. The first time, a couple of weeks ago, I ordered a roast beef sandwich. When I got home and opened it to eat, there was no meat on there. So a veggie sandwich it was. Then today, I tried it again and when I got back to work and opened it up, I was disgusted. If I could give this any lower score I would. It is not rocket science to get the condiments correct on a sandwich. I specified NO mayonnaise and just yellow mustard. They added mayonnaise and spicy mustard. I requested a confirmation of the yellow mustard and of course it was incorrect. I waited at the window for the correct sandwich (Pepe) only to get to my office and realize that they had scraped the mayonnaise off (just barely) and given me a sandwich that wasn't to order. Disgusting and disrespectful. I called and was greeted with indifference. This was the second time this 'mayonnaise' issue has come up for this location. I will never return for a sandwich from this franchise. The bread was flat as if it had not risen properly during the proofing stage. Tomatoes and lettuce were sub-par. The app makes ordering very easy. The sandwiches are average, except for the tuna..it's really bad. REALLY bad. Awfully bad. Disgusting. Threw it away immediately bad. First, it's difficult to rate this kind of chain restaurant because we all know what it tastes like. It's a subjective thing whether you like Jimmy John's or not, I personally am a big fan of their food. So, it seems reasonable to say that the main way to distinguish a particular store is by its service and location. The location is great, no doubt, right in the middle of everything in downtown Little Rock, so there's not much to say about that. However, service was absolutely depressing. I was already upset about their parking because it was confusing and seemingly inefficient in pre-rush-hour times. I was there at 11:45AM today, and even though the restaurant was not even close to full, the parking spots were all taken and I, along with other customers, had to park elsewhere. I was bitter but I figured it could happen and I walked into the restaurant. I do not know why this sandwhich maker felt the need to do this, but as soon as he saw me, he shouted "goni-chiwa" and busted out laughing with his co-sandwhich maker. I would've ignored this if this was high-school, but this wasn't high school, this was a business and I was a customer. If we changed spots, and he walked in (he was black) and I told him hello in swahili and then laugh as it was something funny with my fello Asian co-worker, would he and the rest of Little Rock find this funny? I don't think so. I can't blame the managers because they may have not known this employee would behave this way when they hired him, but it'd be nice to note that racism, whether it is directed tp African Americans or Asians, especially in running a business, just DOESN'T MAKE SENSE. read more

I've only ordered from this particular location twice. I've had Jimmy John's previously in several other locations so I knew what to expect. The menu is familiar and I usually get the turkey Tom or Beach Club. Well during my recent experience it was a late drive thru visit. About 10:10, the store closes at 11:00. So we had plenty of time. We ordered at the drive thru without any problems. The order was even repeated back to us twice. We paid and went on our way. Got home, put some things away, changed and got settled in for Netflix and a late snack. When we opened the bag, we noticed our sandwiches had a huge difference. We ordered two beach clubs, one without cheese. The one without cheese was significantly smaller....ok...then we discovered there was no turkey on it at all. I checked the receipt and the order said, two beach clubs. Both sandwiches lacked the avocado spread as well. This was a little disappointing. We were starving and it was late! It was 10:30 when I called the store to tell them what happened. Surely they could deliver the correct order since it was so late? Nope, manager apologized for the mistake but said we would have to come in instead and that we would have to make it before they closed at 11:00. So basically I had 20 mins to get back over there so they could correct my order. I didn't feel like I should have to go to all the trouble for their mistake. So now, I won't be ordering from that particular location again and next time will have to sit and check my order before leaving. Since I didn't have a chip on my shoulder about parking I think I can give you an idea of how really great this place is. My first impression was that of a nice clean restaurant with friendly employees. Second thing I noticed is that everything appeared fresh. Meat is freshly sliced as needed and buns are oven fresh. I noticed as I waited that their visible stock of mayonnaise was around 50 gallons. A clear indication that sandwich sales are good and that keeps everything fresh. Have you noticed the word: FRESH? Now the sandwich. My wife and I had the J.J. Gargantuan. Salami, smoked ham, capicola (sort of a ham), roast beef, turkey, provolone, onions, lettuce, tomato, mayo and Italian dressing. I added cucumbers. Those flavors mingling in your mouth will bring tears to any sandwich lovers eyes. I couldn't believe the amount of meat on a sandwich that is only $7.50. I ordered a Big John with no mayo and cucumbers. There was one other order being made when I got there but otherwise the store was empty aside from multiple employees. I was told my sandwich was ready, took it back to my hotel--I walked to and from the restaurant. When I started to eat my sandwich, I find it has tons of mayo and three slices of cucumber.
