Going through the drive-thru, I was asked to practically yell my order from my car because the employee couldn't hear me. Instead of addressing the issue professionally, the interaction felt rude and unnecessarily frustrating. Had the customer service been better, I probably would have given more grace regarding the food. Unfortunately, the food itself was also underwhelming and didn't seem as fresh or well-prepared as I expected. The most frustrating part is that I drove a considerable distance to visit this location. If I hadn't already made the trip, I likely would have left without ordering. Between the poor customer service and disappointing food quality, I left feeling like I wasted both my time and money. I've had better experiences at other Tropical Grille locations, particularly the Haywood Road location. Based on this visit, I can't recommend this location and hope management takes steps to improve both customer service and food quality.
