I picked up lunch today at this location, I like how JJ's has an area for your online order so you don't have to go to the register. Usually they are good about getting my customizations right, but today I noticed the toppings that were normally included with my sandwich (tomato, cucumber) were a bit skimpy (but tons of lettuce). This location doesn't have a parking lot either but its easier to find a street spot than Brady Street. You can also secretly park in the Noodles & Co. lot right next door. I ordered from this Jimmy John's last night. It's my regular go-to for a quick meal. I always order the same sandwich (the veggie so I don't know much about the meat sandwiches) and haven't been let down at this location. The driver's follow my instructions and leave it at my apartment door. Usually sending a text that the meal is out there. I don't have any complaints. My sandwich is consistently what I ordered it and well made. They also have a pretty good rewards program with is worth getting into. You can get free drinks, chips, and sandwiches. Here's what happened when the driver rang my door and then left my order in my hallway last night; I had no idea where the driver was or where my order was. I stood in my doorway for quite a while. After several minutes and buzzing to let the driver inside, I started walking towards downstairs where I was met by a man who had let himself in when I buzzed him in, thinking it was the driver. I had also left my apartment door open. I ran downstairs found my order and went back to my apartment and shut the door where I found THIS MAN INSIDE MY APARTMENT. My dog was locked in bedroom and I was alone. I started screaming and quickly grabbed my keys with my pepper spray and I got him out of my apartment. Freaky fast. Wicked fast. Super extra fast, because this location is nestled in the heart of the UWM area. All the usual suspects: Turkey Toms, Tuna party whatever its called, that veggie sub with the avocado spread that's super good, as well as JJ's "artisanal" variety of sandwiches (or whatever, again, I can't recall exactly what those offerings all entail, but I know you can get them on fluffy wheat breads should you so choose, and also, they'll mix up ham and turkey and add all sorts of other goodies). As far as JJ locations in MKE go, this one's pretty stellar! Just remember that you'll be facing throngs of UGG-wearing, white-baseball cap wearing, "like"-uttering, angst-ridden college folk. This location is ridiculously fast. They are usually done with my order by the time I am done paying. Maybe because of this I rarely see a line. I don't think I've ever had to wait behind more than one person, and more often than not I am the only one They are right by UWM. Very conveniently located. They also deliver, which my department takes advantage of! Avocado spread. As a vegetarian, I find most sub shops make the most boring sandwiches. But JJs has avocado spread, and for that (as a self-professed avocado fiend) they have won my loyalty. BUT sometimes I question if they even put any avocado spread on! The last time I asked for more of it and got charged extra. Boo. I mean, I should be able to taste it without having to add it as a side or whatever, right? Also their bread is really funky. I think it tastes gross, it's chewy and not very bread-like. Its appearance often changes, once it was all scratched up to the point where I wondered if I should even eat it. As many times as I've eaten Jimmy John's sandwiches, I can't believe that I've never reviewed them. I've been to many different locations in many different states. I'd have to say that they are all about the same. Most locations are open late. So, very good for people who work third shift and very good for starving drunks after the club or people who were previously drunk and are now hungover. They deliver. They are fast.....So fast you'll freak. I love the chocolate chip cookies. YUMMY! I've tried many of the different sandwiches, and they were all delicious. This time, I saw them actually making the bread. I've never seen that before and actually didn't know if they did bake their own bread. Usually, the cashier will take the order and by the time I am done paying, the sandwich will already be made. It depends which location I go to, but some of them will throw the sandwich to the cashier so that the cashier can hand it to me. It is actually quite efficient. Today I got a pretty rare glimpse of an incomplete pass. The girl who made the sandwich threw it to the cashier as he was turning back towards me and didn't know that the sandwich was airborne and on its way. It hit him in the arm and fell on the ground. They made a new one in no time and I was on my way. I've seen a sandwich dropped before, but it was more of a fumble and not an incomplete pass. Cheap entertainment. read more

I loveeeeee Jimmy Johns! It is always delicious and fast! There are many decisions on this menu, they will also accommodate with any changes. If you love their french bread ask for "Guts on the side." They give you the extra bread from the inside on top. So you have extra soft bread for later! There are not too many spots to sit, but usually this is a "grab and go" type of place. The parking is horrible because it is shared with Noodles and Company. This is our local Jimmy John's location, although I have never really had a bad experience at any location. I usually come once a week to get dinner for my wide and I, and am always in and out within 2 to 3 minutes. They always get our order right, and are very friendly. Love the #16! read more

All Jimmy Johns are pretty equal as far as quality goes, which is nice because you always know what to expect but I like this particular Jimmy Johns because their staff is consistently up beat and on the ball. Also, they literally do have service so fast you'll freak. I called and placed my sandwich order for delivery at 5:07. They arrived at 5:17. I was all about that. Compared to Quiznos this place is crap. I've been here twice. My first time I was served by a group of young people that all had horrible attitude problems, and my sandwich was bland. My second time (I was reluctant to try it out again) they messed my order up and I ended up eating what I'm pretty sure was a turd sandwich. This place has boring flavors compared to Quiznos. I'd much rather pay a couple of extra dollars to get a flavorful tangy sub at Quiznos, and enjoy their delicious Miss Vickies chips (I can't find these at the grocery store *sadface). Jimmy John's has the freshest subs I have ever had and it SMELLS so good inside, better than any other sub shop. I don't know how they make them so good, they have very basic ingredients, nothing fancy and they're always very fresh. And they are VERY true to their advertising, as they make them up within a few seconds. THe only place faster is Kopp's. read more

Best JJ's In Milwaukee! I live on the east side, but have traveled around milwaukee with my job so I have been to many of the JJ's around the city and this one is by far my favorite. The store has a great vibe to it, I walk into the store and everytime everyone says hello within a second which is really surprising because they always seem so busy working and making subs that I feel I could easily be missed. When I place my order they almost always have my sub made, bagged up, and in my hand before I even get my change back. The sub is always great too! Compared to the other JJ's around this store always loads up on the freshest veggies, has the thickest meats, and the freshest bread (the subs are cold but the bread is warm, perfection!) They also have the best customer service, they will take time and have a conversation with me always with a smile (not forced either) when they look swamped with subs to make because the workers there are all just genuinely nice people. Even the drivers are too! I order delivery less then actually going to the store, but when I do they get to my place in 15 min or less and comes up to my apt, hands me a bag of my food with a smile, completes the transaction, makes sure I have everything I ordered and is on their way! I love this Jimmy Johns, you know I will be coming back and you should too! read more
