We arrived as they opened on a Saturday, so seating wasn't a problem. I decided to order the double smash burger with fries. The burger consists of two smashed beef patties, two slices of American cheese, lettuce, tomato, red onion, garlic aioli, on a sciortino's brioche bun for $16.50. The order was out quickly. The burgers were cooked to perfection and nicely seasoned. The cheese was melted and ozzed down the sides. The lettuce, tomato, and red onion were fresh and added a crispness to the burger. The fries were crispy and lightly salted. I was able to sample 2 of their IPA beers to decide which one I wanted. The Punch IPA was hoppy with strong citrus notes. The Hazy IPA was not as hoppy and did not have citrus notes. The later was my personal favorite. I ended up getting a 6 pack to go. Just off 1-43, it is easy to get to and worth coming back to.

She seemed to be just "going through the motions" and was not very engaging. (3 Stars). I think that the Twisted Willow is probably a good restaurant with quality food. Perhaps we just came in on a bad night for Short Rib and engaging service. We will most likely give them another try.

We brought our energetic 1 year old and our server Annalise was as sweet as can be. She was so friendly and patient while we fumbled over the menu (choice paralysis, it's ALL good!) and the baby tried to grab everything in sight while squawking at the lights and records on the walls. I served and bartended for a very long time and I know it can be difficult to be engaged and social with every guest all the time, so we really appreciated the experience Annalise provided for us.
