Seriously so slow! We have been here a few separate times and it has been so slow every time

I made an online order so that it would be ready when I got to the store. I submitted the order at 10:58am and the app said that it would be ready between 11:15-11:30am. I arrived to the store at 11:18 and it wasn't ready. I stood there by the online order shelf till 11:30 when I ended up asking if they had received the order. I was then told that they hadn't even started it (it was only a wrap and a sammy). It then took them till 11:38 for them to make my order. It took FOURTY MINUTES to get my order. SERIOUSLY! While getting Botox today, the med spa that I was at had a sandwich platter drop Jimmy John's and since there were no sandwiches that I liked, I started to crave JJ's. On my way home I stopped at this location to satisfy that craving. So, I ordered: Regular size turkey & provolone Mayo & yellow mustard Light lettuce Oil & vinegar Salt & pepper The girl tells me that they don't have yellow mustard. I point out to the menu that clearly states "yellow mustard". She then tells me that she can give me a packet of yellow mustard to add onto the sandwich. I ask if she can give me the bread after the mayo is added and then I can put the mustard on before they add the meat, cheese, & veggies. She tells me no. That will cross contaminate the sandwich. She tells me that she can give me the meat and cheese on the side & then I can put the sandwich together myself....ok. Then she tells me that they also don't have salt & pepper. I will have to add that myself as well. Whatever. When my bread and meat was handed to me with the packets of mustard, salt, & pepper, I asked for a knife to spread my mustard and cut the sandwich. She said that they done have knives for customers. I asked if she had a fork or spoon so that I could spread the mustard. Nope. Nothing. I asked how you was supposed to cut my sandwich and she said that after I put the sandwich together she would cut it for me. So, there I was, standing at the booth at Jimmy John's making my own sandwich trying to smear mustard onto bread without any utensils. It was quite interesting. I handed my sandwich back to the girl once it was put together and she cut it for me. I don't understand how there wasn't cross contamination with cutting it but adding mustard first would have caused potential cross contamination. The sandwich overall was great, but since I had to make it, I can only give 1 star. This location needs some help. The customer service is really lacking. I wasn't asking for anything out of the ordinary. If I wanted to make my own sandwich I could have done that at home for a lot less money. read more

This jjs is terrible we've ordered about 4 sandwiches from them twice a month giving them plenty of room for error and second chances. But every time they mess up ATLEAST 1-2 of the sandwiches drastically if not all of them. We give them hand written instructions for what we want everytime which usually as simple as cucumbers instead of lettuce because the lettuce gives ALL of us diarrhea EVERYTIME. I'm getting tired of spending $7 for a sandwich with a simple request, one simple additional request of "can I get Dijon mustard on that?" "What was that?" " can I get Dijon mustard added to my sandwich" "Oh sure" I rush back to work to make it back on time before my lunch break is over, and find time during a separate break to enjoy this sandwich I've been looking forward to, this sandwich with Dijon mustard. First bite yields no Dijon mustard, a bummer, but hey there's an entire 4 inches left of this thing I've got to be getting close. Second bite, 3rd, til I finish the sandwich. No Dijon mustard. I understand mistakes like this happen, I just don't understand how you can work a job making sandwiches, and somehow fuck that up. Bread. Lettuce. Meats. Sauce. Wrap it up and serve your creation. That's the job, you sweep at the end of shift and clean up the facility I'd assume, but the main part of the job is to make the fucking sandwich, the overpriced sandwich that I occasionally pay for when I want a treat, only to constantly be disappointed. Jimmy John's is good, it's overpriced but the food is a solid 6-7/10 for a fast food joint. Our teenagers love Jimmy John's. It was our first time at this location. The staff was friendly. The sandwiches were good tasting with a good portion of meat and veggies. A bit pricey compared to other sandwich places. If you like cold sandwiches this is a good place to go. They do not serve hot/grilled sandwiches. read more

This locations food is awesome and I am only commenting on the service. Today I ordered my food around 9:25pm, on the Jimmy John's App(which said the location was open). I ordered it and got a confirmation it was received and would be ready soon. I went over to pick up my order to see the place was obviously closed, but there were still people in there. I called them on the phone to ask if I would be refunded (it wasn't their fault the app didn't work so I wasn't too upset) but they didn't answer. I took my last resort and went up to the drive thru window to get their attention only to be completely ignored whether I knocked lightly on the window or tried to call again. I get not wanting to serve or talk after closing but I wasn't some Karen that wanted to make the employees life hard, I was just trying to sort out the situation. I waited and tried to get their attention but they would not even look at me. I didn't hear loud music so I'm sure they heard me and my calls. I finally got a cancellation notice on my phone but by then I felt disregarded and sad, like I didn't matter. I respect the people in the service industry ( been in it all my working career) because it's hard to deal with difficult customers but I just wanted to be acknowledged, not treated like I was. While the sandwiches are tasty, the cost of the sandwiches are just a little high, but if you and cheese it start to go up (they ask if you want cheese, but don't tell you will be paying more). Their delivery area changes at the whim of who answers the phone or friends I guess. I had a credit because last time I ordered their delivery took forever so I went to pick up my order so they refunded my delivery charge because I picked it up. I still left a tip, I went to use my "Credit" today and had to call because it wasn't on my account. But they pulled it up instantly when I called. Can I give - stars,??? The sandwiches we ordered tasted fine, but for $24.45 the service SUCKED. We attempted to place the order over the phone to be delivered after the address was given they said no, but they would deliver less than 1/2 a mile to the nearest closed grade school! Seriously??? 1/2 a mile! When we called back to confirm the order they now don't deliver to the school ( their suggestion I might point out) and said they never said it. When I asked why they were incapable of putting peppers on 1/2 of a sandwich. Sit down for this answer they might put them on the wrong half of the sandwich and would cost him his job suggested they turn said sandwich and then presto they are on the correct side. Asking for the oil and vinegar on the side that apparently also against corp regs. No mayo on one of the sandwiches, by this point I was over the experience and wanted to just leave, so I had them just give me some mayo pkts. Me and my wife came in to get dinner. We came in and before we got done ordering the gentleman who was making the sandwich started making my wife's sandwich incorrectly. When we let him know that my wife didn't want the bread cored out of it he seemed annoyed and fixed the issue. After we got, what we thought was everything, we got home we realized that the mustard, that we confirmed with them 3 different times, weren't with the food as well as the pickle that I ordered and confirmed with them 2 times was also no where to be found. The fastest food I have ever seen. We have ordered Jimmy Johns a dozen times here at CWI (that's right they deliver to the NCAB and Aspen creek buildings). I went to Jimmy John's before a movie at the multiplex near their location. The sandwich was actually pretty good. It had lots of meat, and that's a really big plus. I like how they prepare them. It's almost like the meat is wrapped around the lettuce, etc. and then placed in the bun. The problem that I had with Jimmy John's probably arises from the fact that I'm not accustomed to eating there since this was my first time. I did not realize that the sandwiches don't come with mustard unless requested. When I realized that my sandwich only had mayonnaise, I went up to the counter and asked for some mustard. I was informed by the very young staff that they do not give out mustard in cups or any container. I understand for health reasons they can't take my sandwich back to the food prep area and add mustard. I guess I am just accustomed to businesses trying to do their best to accommodate customers so this came as a bit of a shock. It seems like such a small thing to fill one of those ubiquitous condiment cups with mustard and give it to me. It definitely turned what was an alright experience into a very negative one. So it turns out my sandwich at Jimmy John's was eaten with the condiments of disappointment and anger instead of mustard.
