Guys I love this place. My husband and I frequent often because we love their breakfast burritos. However recently they changed their punchcard policy to a phone number rewards system. I went and purchased two burritos today, paid and told the girl I had a phone number for rewards (because she didn't ask for it) and basically she told me I'm SOL. She can't go back in the system and give me credit for my purchase. SO WTF?! $17 and two burritos? What's the point of having a loyalty program if loyal customers don't get credit for their purchases? Like come on girl. This is an ok burger place. Nothing really stood out and wowed me it was all just ok. The portions are pretty big so it can be shareable. The staff were nice and very polite. It's a very simplistic building, with a few outside seats and small drive thru. Pretty basic burger place menu and they do have breakfast. Price is pretty typical for a burger places like this. Bad Boy Burgers is great. They're quick and easy with consistently good food. The burgers are the usual star of the show, though the sides are definitely worth grabbing. The fries and onion rings are stand outs there. Of course, you have to snag some fry sauce. The folks serving the food are always kind and quick with your order. Overall, it's a 3. Service was fast and friendly, tater tots were fresh cooked well. The biggest issue I have with joints like this is they have "Burger" in their name, to me, it better be a fresh burger or at least resemble one vs a 1/4 pound patty that came out of a box of frozen burgers and slapped on the grill. The bun was a standard bun as well which to me is fine for a place that serves burgers as an addition to the menu, not the main focus. Toppings were fresh, which is a plus. This place is just ok. Coming from someone who spent 25 years in the business and has multiple accolades including voted best burger. Some tips, do a 1/3 pound burger and up your price a buck, then grill the bun so the sauce doesn't soak in and do a better bun not a generic one anyone can buy at Winco. I wrote the previous review for the Fairview location which shut down and I don't know why cause it was actually the best. This location definitely needs something to be desired the fries, same fries that I was raving about. They are cooked in old oil and you can taste it along with whatever fish they cooked that day for that week. The second thing is regarding the service is this: why is it that I, as a customer, seem to always be the one thanking the gen z employees each time I get my food at the drive through only to have the window slammed shut-- not even a "you're welcome" or "have a good day"? The ultimate hangover cure is a thick, greast sandwich from Bad Boy Burgers. They made my miserable day a thousand times better the moment I took my first bite of that bad boy. Lol get it? I couldn't decide between a burger or chicken sandwich so I got both because I deserve it. And I got them both in a combo for the extra fries. The Double Bacon Cheeseburger ($10.75 for the combo) filled a hole in my life I didn't know was there. There's something I absolutely love about these quick, cheap burgers. My other sandwich, the Chicken Bacon Ranch ($9.75 for the combo) was equally as great. I added jalapeños (+$0.50) for that extra kick. It was quite disastrous to eat so I had to have plenty of napkins around but who cares when it's so damn good. They were generous with the bacon on both sammies. I highly recommend a grabbing a couple cups of fry sauce ($0.50 each) to pair with the crispy, heavenly fries and sandwiches. For $25.00 I had an amazing meal from a local estasblishment that not only cured my headache but made my life better because now I know what I've been missing out on!! Staying at an Airbnb close by. Walked to Starbucks and on our walk back to our rental we noticed this place. Stoped by to grab some breakfast burritos. If I am not mistaken, this joint is run by the same people who used to own Rockies Diner - the diner that was featured in Man vs. Food when Adam took on the challenge. Use to be a great local business, with good food, well, food is still good, the customer services aren't. We had to go to the auto place across the street, so we thought while waiting on the car to get fixed, we walked across the street to grab a bite at this Bad Boy Burger, and the workers seen us, didn't come open the walk up window to acknowledge us, to at least say it will be a minute, there was no one in the drive through part, and the sign said open, and we could see the workers kept walking by , but never opened to take our order. So we ended up walking further down and grabbing a bite at one of the other food places in the area. We have recently tried the Cowboy Burgers on Fairview Ave, used to be Bad Boys, also. The food was absolutely incredible, I would rate the chili cheese fries a ten!! The burger was very good and well sized, I loved the portions as well. The employee who took my order was very nice as well! They were fast with our drinks and then our food quickly followed. Found a good casual, diner spot. To-go order was made to order. Chili cheese fries were loaded! Crisp onion rings with delicious buttermilk ranch sauce. She kept interrupting me and yelling. Refused to let me talk to a manager or a way to contact the owner. Tried this place for the first time. For the price you pay you get a good amount of food. We ordered onion rings and it was a whole pack of like 10 in there and they were massive. I loved it. The fries are a good sized portion as well. The burgers were delicious. It was nice to have a good burger for a cheap price compared to a lot of other places . The service was good but nothing beyond that, but I will say they are friendlier than most fast food places. I would definitely eat here again read more

Was pretty bummed after our visit yesterday. Ordered a chicken salad with no olives, which they added anyways. They said they had honey mustard dressing, but I'm pretty sure it was just mustard. Bad Boy Burgers' motto is "Good is good. Bad is better!" A lot of people in Boise consider this the best fast food hamburger in town. It's been ages since I've had a burger here, but after getting their Tuesday Cheeseburger lunch special today, I can see why. Based on this experience alone, I would say Bad Boy Burgers are least as good, if not better, than Golden Wheel, which is another local favorite. Both burgers tend to be a little too "saucy" and messy for my preference, but both are very good. There are three locations. On 4/20/21, I visited the one on Vista, which is the original location. It has been family owned and operated since 1996. The Vista and Federal Way locations are under the same owner. There is also a location on Fairview that is owner by someone else. I have tried a burger at the Fairview more recently and didn't care for it. It wasn't bad. I just much prefer the food at the Vista location. The only downside of the Vista location is that you either have to eat in your car, take it to go or eat it at the table that's directly in front of the business, which is close to a busy street. Today, I got mine to go and eat in my backyard, but if the weather is warm, I highly recommend you get your food to go and have a picnic on the sloping hill in front of our historic Boise Train Depot, which is right down the road. Both the Federal Way and Fairview locations have indoor seating. Bad Boy Burgers has a lunch special Monday through Saturday. The Tuesday Cheeseburger lunch special is a cheeseburger with fries and a 22 oz. drink for $7.55. Fry sauce is .50 cents extra. I liked that the burger was good quality meat that had a nice crisp on it, without drying out the meat inside. Somewhat reminiscent of what happens when you smash a burger on the grill, though not quite to the same extent as they do at places like In-N-Out Burger. In addition to cheese, the burger was topped with lettuce, tomato, pickles and special sauce. I love the french fries! These are some of my very favorite fast food french fries. Like the burgers, they are always made to order. They always come out perfectly cooked and plentiful. I still have more than 2/3 left from my lunch order. I wish I didn't have to pay $.50 for fry sauce, but it's made from scratch and a generous portion, so well worth it. Highly Recommended!!! read more

Ordered a chili burger with extra chili, the flavor was good but there was very little chili on the burger which made it very dry.

They have DELICIOUS burgers here! Stopped by this afternoon and we got a bbq burger and their thursday special burger which was a bacon cheeseburger. Service is pleasant but the hamburger was the worst. The best thing on my hamburger was the tomatoes. I ordered the mushroom Swiss burger. I say blah! Yuk! Never again !!!! You couldn't pay me to eat that hamburger again. First off it comes on toasted bread, the mushrooms must come from a jar or can and they tasted like it too, disgusting. The hamburger patty was not good I don't know where they got those pre-made Patty's from but I thought I was eating a hamburger not some pre-made hamburger patty. That was a waste of $8.00 smh! I went up to the window and a very friendly employee took my order and asked about my day and such which was nice. I took a bite and the entire contents of the burger slid out the back and onto my container. apparently I was eating it wrong or something cause idk how you fuck up eating a burger but here I am ‍. I tried my very best to salvage my burger but there was no saving it. The chili that came on it (which I didn't know cause I'm stupid and didn't read the menu) made eating the burger both impossible and allot like taking a bath but it's just my face and instead of water and soap it's chili, mustard and god knows what else is on it cause I didn't read the damn menu. This has got to be one of the funnier experiences we have had in a fast-food restaurant. The crew that was working there prepared good tasting food, and the experience was interesting. We ordered a veggie mushroom burger, a tuna sandwich, fries with fry sauce, a hamburger paddy for our dog, and a salad with blue cheese dressing. When checking the to go packaging, they had forgot the hamburger paddy and the fries. The grill person said he placed the hamburger paddy in the burger, but it was not found in the veggie mushroom burger (we did not check the tuna sandwich), so he made another one for our dog. They managed to find the fries and placed everything in the to go packaging. Upon arriving in our room, we started to open packages. Got the veggie mushroom burger (yum), fries (yum) but got blue cheese dressing instead of fry sauce (bummer), got the salad with blue cheese dressing, got the dog's burger which he loved, and we found the missing hamburger paddy in my tuna sandwich. Now that was a pretty awful combo with tuna, but the dog loved getting an extra paddy. Moral of the story... don't order before closing. A tuna/hamburger combo is nasty! read more

The tortilla was very dry and not soft at all, and the fact that you guys use American cheese probably the same shoes that you use on your burgers inside the breakfast burrito is just an insult. Also the hashbrowns were very very oily and not good at all. I made it about halfway through this before I couldn't take anymore and I just trash the rest I will however Say that I do enjoy your burgers but breakfast burritos are definitely not the choice to pick you up at bad boy burgers. I waited in the drive thru line for 20+ minutes with five cars in front of me. My combo was $10.75. My satisfaction on a scale of 1-10 was about a 3. Maybe it's a local thing, but there was nothing "bad boy" about this burger joint. I would have preferred a Whopper or Big Mac to be honest, especially after factoring in the wait and price.
