Manager called me ... made the issue right. He said it wasn't acceptable to deny a special when it's clearly a franchise wide special. He said it would be discussing it with the employee.. and said they have a lot of new employees and hopefully that was the issue. Love the food here, always have, and the immediate address of the issue I give 5 stars all day long.

So I give this location 4 stars because the two times I've been there my sandwich has not been ready the time that I requested it to be ready, so I sat for a few minutes in their lobby . once the sandwich is actually made, it's pretty good, especially with a few things I added at home..the staff are nice..

I needed dinner and I needed it fast. I came in at 8pm and the awesome crew greeted me coming through the door. I placed my order and I watched the ninjas making a load of sandwiches for the drive through. My #11 was done freaky fast and it was delicious! Thank you JJ's!

Most expensive lettuce sandwich I've every had. Was expecting what I'd had two months ago from this same location. So disappointed that my 'Unwhich' was not only wrapped in lettuce, but mostly filled ONLY with it. One thin slice of turkey and two small slices of cold bacon. One tiny slice of tomato, made it almost insulting. For $11.50 ( with tax) absolutely not worth it. Do I try it again and hope for my first experience? I'll have to think twice.

As this place just opened, I was prepared to have the maximum level of patience for the new employees. I guess I am starting to get lazy in my middle age, so I went through the drive thru. I went around 6:30 p.m. and it wasn't to busy. Getting in to the parking lot is kind of treacherous when entering from Martin Ave, but I made it in. Right now there appears to be a lot of employees. I sure after this grand opening week the amount of employees will decrease a bit because I don't anticipate it being as busy as it was for the first couple of days. It only took 8 minutes from order to delivery. They really were moving fast that night. I did like though that they had an outdoor eating area which might be nice in the spring months coming up, possibly if it's not raining but it is Washington sooooooooo ya know. Only problem with the outdoor eating area is that you have to cross the drive thru road in order to get to the patio and if cars are exiting the drive thru at a great speed or the driver isn't paying attention, pedestrians might get hit. Now for the sandwich, I ordered the large veggie. They have the small one and the large one. Honestly, it was nothing special. The bread was just a plain ole white roll and for a "veggie" sandwich, it really doesn't have a lot of vegetables on it. A few cucumbers, about 3 slices of tomato, several globs of mayonnaise, and an overabundance of layers of cheese. The menu notes avocado spread, but I did not get any on my sandwich. I also had a hard time eating the sandwich as the cucumbers and tomatoes make the sandwich so moist that the cheese slides out the back every time you take a bite. Also, for some reason my stomach didn't feel right after consuming the sandwich. I was glad to support a newly opened business but probably won't be back as I can get a more flavorful sandwich from Subway or maybe even Quiznos. This sandwich was overall bland. They do deliver though just in case you don't have time to get something on lunch.

Ordered a Slim 3 on French bread with Cheese. I got home and opened the sandwich to see this. The other sandwich I ordered had the same quantity of tuna. The person I got the sandwich for was a previous worker of the company (in a different state) and they reported that this was not the right quantity. It was not during a busy time of day. The cashier who took my order was nice and pleasant.

Finally! Be scared Meconi's! You aren't the only Italian hero in town anymore! It is true that parking is limited and access to/from the store is precarious; it's also true that the freaky fast delivery is harder to replicate here in Lacey than in Seattle, BUT the sandwiches are soooooo GOOD! I ordered #9, the Italian hero, thru the drive thru and it was ready within a few minutes (like less than 2 minutes); and the place was humming inside during a high noon lunch rush. The bread has a crusty outer shell yet it is still soft & chewable. The lettuce was fresh & chilled. The cold cuts were chilled and delicious. Each bite begged for yet another. Sorry Meconi, you just let yourself go, I've chosen another Italian love!

Only started eating here recently. Food is so fresh you watch them slicing the meat and vegetables right in front of you. Portions are generous. Food tastes great. Don't know about other jimmy johns, but this one has a fantastic staff. Will be continuing to eat here with some regularity. Highly recommend. read more

Went around 5pm... No line in the drive thru. A few patrons inside. A ton of workers standing around... Sandwich took too long for my sandwich according Jimmy John Timing. The Jimmy John's in Georgia is waaayyy faster and taste better. Going back to Subway ASAP! read more

What a disappointment! Maybe it's because I am a die-hard Meconi's fan, but the sub at Jimmy Johns was terrible. The bread was stale (like hard when you knock on it), there was no flavor. Just totally bland! ALSO, I saw the gal making my sandwich and she scraped the inside of the bread out...WHO does that?! That's the best part of bread. lol. Overall, not impressed. read more

Excellent subs and customer service. These guys are really on the ball. The parking is at a premium but the subs are just awesome. And they are CONSISTENT...not hit & miss like some of the other establishments in town. I love the fact that I can call in an order and pay for it or jump online and order and pay for it. And it's ready and waiting by the time I get there from downtown. read more

I hardly ever go to Lacey. I think this was actually only my second time going to Lacey. This jimmy johns is right off of I5 and has a young sweet staff. I didn't receive any attitude or push back with my order. The sandwich was good!! The reason why they received 3 stars is because I ordered the sauce which I think is vinegar and oil or something I'm not sure. But they put TOO much on the sandwich and so by the time I got to my sandwich which was only about 10 minutes later the bread was soggy! Eww!! Who likes a soggy sandwich!!! So I had to pull off a lot of the bread. The sandwich was good though!!! But I would suggest ez on the sauce if you order it. read more

It was very overpriced, the sub had only a little bit of meat, and didn't taste like anything in particular. Also, I asked for pickles and the guy didn't understand o wanted them on the sub cut up. Instead, I was charged an extra $1.50 for a pickle wrapped up cut into 4 huge slices. I will never go back. I'll stick with Meconis. read more

The Gargantuan is by far the best Big Man sandwich. If your hungry and want a great tasting, filling sandwich this is the one. The other sandwiches I've tried have been sub par. The pickles are also delicious. They also have super fast service. read more

Ok I know Jimmy John's owner is a game hunter. And I know that I should be more socially responsible. But damn I love these sandwiches. Bring on the mayo and faster than light service. My favorite is the LuLu - turkey with bacon. Staff is super peppy and again- so friggin fast! My dirty little secret from my socially conscious friends. read more

I order two sandwiches and they switched the contents of the sandwiches they put double meat on the one where we asked for extra mayo and they gave hot peppers on the regular sandwich. They should make sure the sandwiches are correct before giving them out. read more

I have a love/hate relationship with this Jimmy Johns. The 'Club Tuna' is my favorite, and my husband enjoys the 'Bootlegger Club.' While I'll admit the bread is pretty good, there's nothing really special about it. It's just a plain, white sub. And yet, there is something about those subs that make them crazy addicting! The location is a little odd and kind've difficult to get to if you have never been there before, but it's located on a main road, so you definitely can't miss it. Although parking is limited, the drive-thru is usually very fast, even during busy times, and service is mostly friendly. And while I do enjoy their subs, I'm disappointed in their delivery service. We live 1.1 miles away from this Jimmy Johns location, but we are still out of their 'delivery zone.' Sure, it's easy to be "Freaky Fast" when you only deliver within a spit-shot away! I guess just don't expect delivery, unless you live next door! read more

My first time took OVER ONE HOUR to get here, they went to the wrong address. I missed my lunch break waiting. Was credited for the NEXT time I ordered. Ordered again the following week and my order was messed up. So angry.. I decided never to order again. My coworker convinced me to give them another chance a month later, messed up my order again. I used to order from JJ when I lived in Portland. When you forget your lunch and don't have time to run out to grab something, having them show up 10 minutes after you order online was really handy. Then I moved back to Oly, and surprise, this JJ opened up next door to my work. Used the drive-thru to pick up a couple of sammies last week when we had good weather to meet friends in Huntamer Park for lunch. Fast service, they got my order accurate, really all I expect from JJ... I tipped the guy at the window and he tried to hand it back to me. Hey, man I see how hard you all are working in there. Don't get me wrong, I like Meconi's... but it's not nearly as fast, costs about double, and there's no drive-thru or delivery. read more

DECEPTIVE ADVERTISING! Well, I finally find a sandwich shop that offers bread other than hoagie so I go in and order the Italian night Club. When you click on each sandwich on their online menu, every sandwich is the club category is shown on grain bread, while every sandwich in each of their other categories is shown on hoagie buns, so one would naturally assume that their club sandwiches are as shown, right? NOPE! I get home to find a friggin hoagie. I call them up to ask them about it, and am told that all of their sandwiches come on a bun unless you order it on the other! Really? That's not what their menu on line shows! guess i will make my own sandwiches and not be disappointed. I tried to eat the darn thing as I didn't want to waste my money. No luck! the bread was hard and gross! Anyone know of a REAL deli shop in Oly? read more

Well this makes the third time that they can Not get my order right going thru drive thru on my lunch and get back to work to eat and find out that I don't have the extra stuff I asked for and paid for on my sandwich makes for an unhappy person and then to call them and complain about it and get I manager that doesn't even know what to do and then every other word was umm and he didn't even apologize for the inconvenience and he actually said and I quote "what would you like me to about it you already ate it so I can't fix it" really are you kidding me... read more

I first tried to order for delivery, but it turns out that I am out of their delivery area at 2.7 miles away, what the heck? So, instead I went through the drive through (because lazy). The wait was pretty long for how empty it was, about 8-10 minutes. As a lover of Meconi's, I'll admit I was skeptical of the quality of JJ's sandwiches at first. I got the Turkey Tom and it wasn't bad at all, a good size and filled me up just fine. The only problem I had was that it cost about the same as a Meconi's "whole" size, but was closer to a half (and not quite as tasty). Regardless, I'd get it over Subway or Quiznos any day. Overall, JJ's is an OK place and I might consider going there if my other favorite was closed and I really needed a sandwich. read more

I was excited to finally go to a Jimmy John's, as I've heard a lot of good things about their sandwiches. I have to say, I'm not impressed. I ordered the turkey bacon and the guy asked if I wanted cheese... Well of course. Who doesn't? I was pretty surprised to see they charge 75 cents for two paper-thin slices of cheese. Wow, really? Cheese doesn't come with it? All in all, the sandwich was pretty plain. They don't even put mustard on it. The bread tasted stale. Meh... For all the hype, I was expecting more. read more

Staff was nice and helpful! Greeted everyone coming and going...except me. I didn't get a "thanks come again" because everyone was worried about who was getting to leave early. Didn't much bother me because I was leaving and really trying to stay under the radar...a quiet lunch. Food was good and much of what I expected. Jimmy John's is always a good go to. read more

They get your food to you very quickly but it seems as though it is made so quickly that you might be losing something in the process. However, if you know how to order and need to get somewhere quickly it might be for you. I give it four stars because it is decent food at a fast pace which tastes pretty decent. It is essentially a step above subway but not as good as Meconi's. An earlier post mentioned how Meconi's now has competition, I disagree. Jimmy John's is far inferior to Meconi's. read more

The food is great every time, and fast. Just hate how they try to upsell everything. No I don't want extra cheese on a sandwich already covered in cheese. Also they're SO petty/CHEAP with the napkins. I asked for extra napkins and pepper and literally got one packet of pepper and one extra napkin. I spent 13 dollars, I can ask for more than a pepper packet. read more

Jimmy John's makes a great sandwich, and they do it fast....I mean really fast. I the Olympia area we have the local favorite Meconi's for sub sandwiches, but Jimmy John's is definitely in the running. The #9 Italian, with hot cherry peppers....that's a good samich! read more

We do not eat out much, so we were genuinely excited and maybe a little impatient to try them. When they handed us the sandwiches, I immediately noticed how heavy they were. And the smell in the car on the way home, oh my goodness. Pure torture waiting to unwrap them. Then we got home and opened them up, and I was honestly shocked in the best way. There was actually a MEAL on that bread. Not one of those sad sandwiches that's 80 percent lettuce and air. These were loaded. My teenage son even commented on how good his was, and trust me, teen approval is not handed out lightly. The portions were generous, the flavors were bold, and each sandwich was totally unique and delicious. I can confidently say I have found a new favorite sub spot. Total hidden gem if you love a good sandwich that actually fills you up and tastes incredible. I did not grab a shake this time because it was freezing outside, but after seeing all the flavor options on the menu, I will absolutely be trying one next visit. Highly recommend in every aspect.
