    Pasta salad

I picked up my pasta salad tonight and the expiration date clearly says 9.5. It is 9.8 currently. On top of this the staff didn't seem to want to interact with me or get up from their table at all. Things at the drink station were dirty and not stocked as well.

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. Ordered a Lil John with xtra turkey and provolone cheese. That is not what I received. I received a sandwich with very little turkey, and no cheese. I spoke with the manager Marty, who basically told me they were out of bread and I had to wait 4 hours for a new sandwich.

The 'Vito' (#5) has plenty of bread, with a little meat.

Another decent sub sandwich, albeit with gimmicky fast-delivery commercials. The bun is long, the meat is thin. I would prefer to get more meat and less bread, but hey - if you are carb loading, this is your place. The veggies are very basic compared to the competitors, but that speeds up the production (limited options). At least it is fresh; like all of these subway clones, they make it when you order. Side options are chips or cookies. Self-serve fountain drinks. Order at the counter, then sit and wait for your food. They make the subs fairly quickly; I guess they have to be fast to hit their delivery goals. Adequate sandwiches, but I don't want to return for a while. Pro tip for carnivores: fold the meat over, and throw the extra bun-length away.

Came in on our way out of town. Was told right away there would be a wait for fresh bread. HECK YEAH I WILL WAIT FOR HOT FOOD. We are fans of jimmy johns. This was the best fresh sandwich we have had. Hot bread always a push. Workers were all very nice & restaurant was clean

I guess the owner doesn't read these reviews, they are here to help . Don't defend just listen . Light on the meat . Fill the bread . Plus another problem when your employees at the front are making your customers wait for that speedy service . Then dog eye cause you call them on it ..

#13 Veggie club sandwich on wheat

First time visiting this establishment. Clean, air conditioned, and good music playing. Ordered the #13 veggie club sandwich - it was awesome and fresh & delicious and the sweet tea was perfection! I like it even more than Chickfia's! This is my new sandwich place since I'm boycotting Rockwall Chick-fil-a for now.

I am calling your district manager. 2 deliveries, no apology just two xtra cookies no no no

Let's start with the good. The staff are always friendly, and the newly remodeled dining room is…read morevery clean and modern, though I prefer warm LED lighting that mimics incandescents. I wish more places would use these, but perhaps I'm in the minority and people prefer the sterile coldness of cool white LEDs. Also, the food tastes pretty good. Sure, it's full of all the ingredients the other fast-food places use, like all the preservatives, seed oils, and other flavor enhancers, but it tastes pretty good. The problem for me, though, and it's a big one I've noticed at other places as well: the food tastes like artificial fragrance. At least the bun on the burger did. So it makes me think they are storing the buns in an area with fragrance (air freshener of some sort), or the plastic container the buns are stored in was stored in a room with an air freshener. It's pretty nasty to bite into a burger and taste a chemically crafted bouquet of flowers. I managed to remove the outer layer of both buns, and that got rid of the fragrance and made the burger edible. So, my suggestion for Culver's, and any food business, is to get rid of the stinking artificial fragrance. It's nasty, it's toxic, it tastes terrible, and it sticks to everything, especially plastic and anything that plastic touches. The sad part is, most people live their lives surrounded by fragrance, they can't even taste it when it's in and on their food.

Really wanted to like and trust this place but I have gotten sick from the food here twice now…read more About six months ago I ordered a burger and the cod sandwich and was sick later that day but was unsure what made me sick. Recently ordered a burger and cod sandwich and ate the cod sandwich saving the burger for later. Fell asleep but was awakened by the very strong urge to make it to the toilet as fast as possible! Shame on you Culvers for cutting corners and making your customers sick! We will never return!

My first impression was that this place was insanely busy, which honestly gave me hope that the food would speak for itself. I was greeted in the drive through by an employee who was extremely friendly and took my order while I was still in line. Then it became a waiting game. From the time I placed my order until I got to the window, it took about 15 minutes. That may be normal here, but I would not call it fast food in the usual sense. That said, there are signs everywhere saying everything is cooked fresh and made to order, and if that is true, the wait is a fair trade for hot, fresh food. Sitting in the drive through was actually a cool experience because you can see into the kitchen through the glass. It was interesting to watch the team work, and the kitchen looked very clean and organized, especially considering how busy they were. I ordered the Animal Style meal since everyone says that is the best way to do it. It was about$11 which feels pretty reasonable these days. I also liked the packaging. The burger came wrapped in paper, and it made it easier to eat in the car without making a mess. As for the food, the burger was above average for a drive through restaurant. It was served hot, and the vegetables tasted fresh. But compared to a genuinely great hamburger, it was just okay. The biggest thing holding it back for me was the patty. It needed more seasoning, and that alone would have taken it a long way. The fries were the weak spot. They were overly salted, almost too salty, and they were not very hot by the time I got them. They ended up feeling like average fast food fries. Overall, if you are craving a hamburger and choosing between typical fast food options, this is worth a stop. I would take it over most chains, though I would still pick Five Guys if I wanted a better burger.

The chicken patties used are top tier- full juicy filets, no hard edges or flattened out stringy pieces. It was cooked and seasoned to perfection as I chose "hot" and it was not too much. The pickles were great and the coleslaw on the sandwich. The fries are the biggest crinkle cut and perfectly cooked. The Elotes were also amazing with the spicy mayo. It was very good and I'll be going back! 5/5

Just had my first visit to Lava Hot Chicken and it did not disappoint…read more Such a great lunch spot--portion sizes are solid for the price, and everything came out fresh and flavorful. Jason ordered the Lava #1 (2 mild strips) and I got the Lava #2 (2 hot chicken sliders). The "hot" was more of a medium kick, while the mild still had great flavor without much heat--so definitely approachable for anyone easing into spice. I also helped myself get some mac & cheese since it was a cold and rainy day, but to be honest I probably would've gotten some mac & cheese anyways. Delicious! Also have to shout out Alex--super patient, helpful with the menu, and honestly just great service all around. He anticipated what we needed before we even had to ask, which you don't see often. Really made the experience even better. And I have to add--I'm usually not a fan of crinkle fries, but these were actually spot on. We'll definitely be back!

Taco Heaven in Rockwall…read more Ever had a taco so loaded it should come with a seatbelt? That's this place! We were a party of four, spread out over two separate days because we couldn't get enough of this taco utopia. Nestled in a shopping center alongside Hobby Lobby and a gas station, there's plenty of parking for your taco run. Food Breakdown: - Super Nachos: More loaded than a toddler's diaper after a candy binge. -regular tostada: like a flat taco. Tasty and good. - Super Burrito: Think burrito on steroids--if steroids were made of deliciousness. - Super Taco: Same deal. Super, but in taco form. - Regular Taco: Regular in name only. It's like calling the Grand Canyon a "big hole." - Cheese and Lettuce Taco: For when you want to make a picky kid happy. Spoiler: it's still loaded. Everything comes packed to the gills with shredded cheese, like the chef got a killer deal at Costco and said, "Why not?" Why We Love It: - Free Drinks for Kids: Because nothing says "family-friendly" like a soda-fueled sugar high. - Lobby: Clean, open, and inviting. Perfect for those moments when you need to unbutton your pants after a taco feast. - Staff: Friendly and patient, even when you're taking forever to decide between Super Taco or Super Burrito (just get both). The Best Part: - The food is amazing. - The prices are even better. Where else in Rockwall can you get a taco that's practically a meal in itself for just $3.99? If you haven't been here yet, what are you waiting for? Go get stuffed with tacos--your taste buds will thank you, and your waistline will probably forgive you eventually.
