    Catering menu 12/2025

I was craving "anything but turkey" on this post-TGiving wknd and up popped a $7 toasted sub promo (normally $12). I ordered via their intuitively simple app and a toasted Italian was ready when I arrived. For fast food I think Jimmy's continues to have the best sandwich bread - a nice crunch to the outside while still chewy on the inside. Their new toasted subs are a bit more substantial than their regular offerings, typically including extra meat. I like how easy it is to customize too (delete mayo; add crunchy onions and cucumber slices) and how they don't upcharge for any of these except the obvious ones (extra cheeses, meats, or avocado). Staff is always extroverted friendly and parking is free/easy. Perks via app/membership are decent and don't appear to be the source of any spam. Ps, I've never catered here but have attended several meetings where they've been the provider and, not surprisingly, the audience oos/ahs louder than for generic pizza. Boss's take note!

    1/2 of the giant sandwich...

Just ordered a giant club lulu with extra bacon, a large coke and a "little John" Pepe sandwich for my son. Total came out to a whopping $42. Call it inflation but our sandwiches came with barely any meat. Paid $6 for extra bacon and there's 4 pieces on the whole sandwich. Pure disappointment for such a highly priced order. Since when did "you get what you pay for" become so forgotten. To top this all off the drive thru employee was rude on the intercom.

The GM Andrea was the rudest person I've ever met in the food industry. I called to let them know my sandwich wasn't fresh an smelt like old chicken. The bread was old an hard. She repeated over an over I was wrong an she can assure the freshness. I asked if she was gonna take a bite of the sandwich to smell it. She would refund my money or make me a new sandwich. I love Jimmy John's but I'm so disappointed. I couldn't eat my sandwich

#9 after I peeled the cheese out

Went there for the 1st time in years. Ordered a #9, no cheese, other than the fact I remember it being around $6-7, it's $8.99 now. Is it really that hard to make sure there's no cheese , I even heard one of the guys yell out no cheese . I have no idea wtf the other guy was thinking ( sigh). I can understand if you're making 10 different sandwiches with different toppings, you're going to forget something but, really how can you mess up 1 sandwich? I can still smell the cheese ( smell like stinky feet) after I took it out.. sad!!!!! So sad!!! Most likely I won't be going back to any JJ.

    the receipt for the restaurant

It's amazing to me just how often they don't cut my subs in half. I fully understand I can cut the damn thing myself but if I specifically order it that way than I'm paying for it to be done that way. I order cucumber, I get cucumbers. If I order it 1/2 CUT just like it's printed on my receipt, I expect it to be CUT.

Noon, on our way out of town moving her home, I made it our final stop. Should've come here years earlier. I had no idea of the longevity of The Sausage Deli until entering this place. I read the framed articles on the wall and learned how beloved they are. They mainly have sandwiches and are made to order, old school style. The sides are prepackaged in the deli case at the counter. I had the Italian Grinder, my wife had the Salami Sub and my daughter had a make your own sandwich. I had the sides of macaroni salad and potato salad. These sides were bland but maybe that's to compliment the flavorful sandwiches? I loved my Italian grinder and all the items inside it. The prices are fairly reasonable here and the service was great. You order at the counter and they call out your number when it's ready. Thinking back on my experience here, I don't remember seeing sausages anywhere....Hmmmm......Wonder why?

I went during a lunch break and the food both myself and my coworkers got all ended up being incredible. There is seating in the back of the store but a massive selection of all kinds of Italian goods, both in freezers and in a deli-style section. The menu has all kinds of classic favorites and I tried a sandwich that had fresh burrata, which was the exact thing I was craving. The prices are decent for the size of the portions and I also ended up snagging a bag of Baci candies on my way out! This is a great lunch spot with something on the menu for everyone, including a whole array of deserts like cannolis.

The feast of the seven fishes is our yearly tradition during the holidays, and when it rolls around, Angie (I'm not making that up, that is her real name--I told you she was Italian) will grab stuff from Roma by the armful. I am of the opinion that the prepared foods from here can range from the, "Mama Mia!" (really really tasty) to the, "Eh, Cosi cosi" (you know, it passes) range. I'm a people-person and love to observe the patrons. Many of the customers appear to be of Italian descent and, like my bettah half seem to really-enjoy the traditional and authentic staples of, Il Bel Paese (The beautiful country). Food from many different regions of Italy are available. The decor is kinda fun. In my mind, when I think of what an Italian trattoria should look like, this place comes to mind... it's got the classic red and white checkered table clothes, maps and landscapes of Italy adorning the walls, and an energy of a place that is well cared for. A religious icon or two will also dot the interior landscape. The aroma of slowly simmering tomato gravy, cut garlic, roasted meats, chopped onions, and olive oil fills the air. It's an experience. Sometimes life imitates art, and hand to gawd, on my mutha's life... the last times I went, der was deeze tree guys sitt'n in dah corner. I swears, dey cou'da been cast members from the Sopranos. Ayhhyyee! Was'amatta, youse? The staff is generally warm and enthusiastic about their offerings. They generally have been super helpful, and if it's not too busy, are more than happy to make suggestions for new items or how best to prepare the items we have purchased. When we have visited, 90% of the time, the place was crack'n (meaning: super busy and full of life!). Sometimes, as we drive away and I take a peek at the receipt, I will exclaim, "Davvero! È così caro!" Loosely translated that means, "Really! That's so expensive!" My wife, who only knows a few words of Italian, has no idea that I was pooping my pantaloni over the cost... but, bless her heart, she seems to think the food here is worth every penny. Generally, I agree. So next time you go, remember to leave the gun, but take the cannoli. Mangiare!
