I've ordered from Jimmys urber eats program twice now. The first time I had an amazing experience, all the food was hot and quick. However the most recent time, the food was 25 minutes late and cold, I would probably lean more to the fault of Ubereats but it did kinda dissuade me from placing another order, however because of the quality I'm sure it won't be too long until I order again. Hello fast food audience Tonight Taco Tuesday I ordered 14 tacos and a 4pc wings dinner. The food was HORRIBLE. It was GREASY from the word GO through and through. I've never experienced anything like this before from this place. I called to speak with the manager and after waiting on the phone forever he answers and i explained to him that I've eaten at this establishment several times before and tonight the ground beef was just spooned up and placed into a greasy shell the paper containers were drenched in grease from both the taco's and the chicken. This man told me it's impossible to drain all the grease from the beef and it was one hour ago from the call back to him it was nothing he could do. I'm a Black senior female and i took offense to him saying it was my fault that the food drained like that . I live 5minutes from this place. So people be very mindful of the items you get from Jimmys look at it before you leave his place. Once outside there's no satisfaction guaranteed. Very friendly clean place. They have a $5 meal deal. Burger fry and a lemonade. The lemonade is strawberry. Dont like the fries nasty and maybe because they were no cooked all the way. I was rather impressed with this new fast casual restaurant that open in Dolton. In a area filled with plenty of food options, Jimmy's spear heads an original flavor. Armed with fresh sliced gyros and fresh sliced phillys not to mention fresh cut fries. Oh man it just doesn't get any better. But wait there is more...HANDMADE BURGERS too! If you are anything like me, I have a bit of a sweet tooth and the soft serve ice cream hits the spot. The menu is straight and to the point including boneless wings. salads and fried fish. Huge menu with a variety of options. I've never had a meal from here that I didn't love. Milkshakes are bomb af too. Better to call in orders. They do annoy me though how they "sometimes" offer delivery depending on how busy but if you're close by it's worth the drive in. read more

I gave them 3 stars because I'm taking into consideration all my visits and not just the last one. 1st piece of advice is to call in your order and pick or order inside. Their delivery service is terrible. Today was the 3rd time I've used it and it ends in the same result - cold food. (By the way I'm pregnant so imagine my frustration) 2nd piece of advice is to stick to what they're known for. I've tried some things I like at other restaurants and they're sub-par at best. Stick to their specialties. Other than those 2 things I love it. The food is great, the staff was great when I was there a couple years ago and I love that their fries are real hand cut! I first started with this merchant in late 2014 or early 2015. I recommended this establishment to ALL my foodie family and friends. Management definitely has changed hands, which is the reason for my rating of only 3 stars. They had some committed delivery personnel and a few that could care less. I have also ordered from them thru Grubhub. And, yes I have had problems through that ordering system. When they first opened, they had an AWESOME menu. I moved from Dolton 23 years ago and only occasionally come back to visit my Mom. I stumbled upon this place but was reluctant to go in because of past experiences with "hood" restaurants. I have to say that I was highly impressed and I could easily tell that the operator of this place knows what they are doing! I've been a Corporate Exec in the restaurant industry for some time now and I'm also a certified Chef and can instantly tell when a restaurant has experience behind it. I was greeted when I entered, the cashier made eye contact, smiled, was very friendly and accommodating. My order was taken accurately and repeated back to me and I was thanked after I paid! Night and day experience from what I usually encounter when I'm in these parts. Very refreshing to see and experience! And yes...it does matter! It makes you feel welcomed and that your business is appreciated, especially when you have lived in an a different area where common courtesy and etiquette is always practiced. Great job to the owner/operator and management! The place was immaculate, presentable, well organized, the staff was all uniformed and consistent, the place was clean and a very welcoming environment without the separation of a bulletproof glass that as soon as I see, I drive away because it sends an unwelcoming message. The food was great! I loved the fresh cut fries and the Philly Steak...although, I have been all over the world and have prepared and have had Philly steaks from Philly and many other places that copy it. But...I have NEVER come across a place that has a Philly Steak with lettuce and tomato on it! I had to get that on the side because that was so weird to me! I started coming here when they first opened and the food was good and the customer service was good. I don't know if this store is under new management but it's definitely going down hill. 1. I ordered a meal which comes with the choice of a can pop or fountain drink. I chose the fountain drink which has been downgraded from the 21oz to the 16oz, but my receipt shows a 21oz fountain drink (shady). 2. I loved their fries because they were real fries instead of frozen but they literally give you like 5 fries now with an order. 3. They are still charging the cook county sugar tax even though that was stopped throughout the county over 3 months ago (super shady).
