Their subs are banging. They use board head and they aren't chintzy. 2 of us can split a half. Their pizzas are also really good. I haven't tried their dinners, so I can't comment on those. read more

We have ordered take out multiple times, today might have been the last. $10 for a BLT wrap that you would have to get your own bacon, maybe 2 pieces in the whole thing! Decent pizza if u eat there, but for pickup or delivery ask for it extra crispy-- otherwise the entire center is a sludgy mess that pulls half the ingredients off each slice. Sub sandwiches vary dramatically as the amount of meat you get change from one order to the next. Also, calling in a pickup or delivery invariably ends up with an item missing, etc. and ordering via Grubhub stinks because a few options on subs are missing (balsamic vinaigrette) and no "no cheese." read more

You cannot go wrong with pizza in New Jersey. It is great everywhere. But Jimmy's is above and beyond all the other local pizza places because of their amazing staff. I have to applaud their owner for hiring and training exceptional staff. Over the weekend my family had a HUGE party. We ordered 10 pies and had them delivered. Over the phone we heard the price to be $154, but was misheard and was only $100.54. Due to the huge order we tipped the driver $20 giving him a total of $170 for pizza that was only about $100. As the driver went in the car and realized the mistake, he came back to the house to explain and give us back the additional $70. We still gave a great tip, but not 70% lol. My parents were in awe of his honesty and very thankful. This was a great example that there are still great people in this world! read more

I a little disappointed in my take out. They forgot to close the lid on the chicken Francaise which leaked through the bag.Which was fine I guess because it was way to lemony and oily. My chicken Caesar salad had so much dressing on it, it was almost soup. read more

Their capri sandwich (without chicken) is soo good. The balsamic dressing is unreal. I'm a vegetarian but there are plenty of options to choose from! I really like their calzones too, the marinara sauce is to die for. The fries are excellent (potato skin left on). The subs that have meats are largely portion and a good value. I believe they put 5oz+ of meats on their subs. Definitely worth checking out! read more

Ate dinner with my family. We all had a pasta dish and the sauce was really good. Big portion sizes with the angel hair and my oldest like the raviolis. My little guy had a slice of pizza and I took a bite and the crust was nice and crispy just how we all like it. You have to order at the counter and pay there so I would have liked to sit and be waited on considering it seemed like they had at least 8-10 people working but it was still good. OK, let me get started, was in town this past weekend for a wedding. When I searched on grub hub, I saw that Jimmy's delivered to my motel in Point Pleasant Beach about 4 miles away. Called in and ordered a medium pizza and a salad, was told that it would be at my door in about a half hour. That pizza and salad was actually delivered about an hour and fifteen minutes later. I guess I should be somewhat happy because when I went to the motel's front desk, they said they've had a lot of problems with pizza places just not showing up. At least I got my food. The highlight of the meal was the garden salad, it was loaded with lots of fresh veggies, cucumber, zucchini, red, yellow and green bell peppers, it was beautiful. The pizza was eh, I'm going to chalk it up to the fact that it wasn't delivered fresh from the oven. Kind of blah, sort of like if you ordered pizza at halftime of a football game and then you went back for a slice after the game. I'd given them another shot but I'd pick it up or eat in next time. read more

Got the buffalo chicken pizza yesterday and it was really good! Everything in there looked great and they had a decently sized menu and were pretty packed. One complaint was that I wish there was more chicken on the pizza, other than that is was amazing. read more

The sandwiches are better than the pizza. Sandwiches have boars head cold cuts, and are generously made. The bread is from Leone's which it should be. As for the pizza .. I wouldn't touch it with a stolen hand on a ten foot pole. They use the wrong ovens, the consistency is WAY off. Service is usually good. I only had one snot-rag teenager once. The four star is the rating for a pizza place with delivery. We have not been to the restaurant. Jimmy's pizza was good. We ordered for delivery and it was fast. We had the salad which was fresh and also the onion rings which were very good. I would recommend Jimmy's for good quality food, reasonably fast delivery and fair prices. Large Pizza is equivalent to the size and taste of a personal pan pizza at Pizza Hut. Staff and owner are on edge feared for my life when I tried to send my meal back, lots of screaming and crashing in the back. Different people working every time we have gone in. Quality and attitude has been on a down bound train since they opened, cant believe they opened in Point Beach. Won't even mention the bathrooms afraid the owner may hunt me down. With so many great LOCAL places to eat go there NOT HERE. Definitely a stay away. read more

Last week when we went out with the Auxillary Club we decided to try Jimmys on Union Ave for the pizza and it was fabulous...The ladies had trouble figuring out what they wanted so we decided on a few pies that were made to or liking and was delicious. The server was spot on and took the time to talk to us and was one of the friendliest servers in a long time. The prices are good and the wit was non existent but we got in there early so make sure you allow some time if its the weekend. Allaround, Jimmys is the place every town wishes they had. read more

I have been ordering from Jimmys for the past 5 years. Never have I had anything bad from here. Food is always consistently delicious no matter what I order. Their online ordering on their website is so convenient and quick. Having a second location in Point Pleasant is convenient if I want delivery. Five days after my daughter's shower and I am still hearing about how great the food turned out. From my first phone call to Jim to the set up at the party by one of his employees, it was a great experience. The amount of food was perfect. We started with tomato bruschetta and mini rice balls stuffed with meat and peas, not the usual cheese. Then there was a chopped salad, grilled vegetables and the main courses of chicken franchaise and pasta al la penne vodka. Hands down the best pizza spot in the area. Have not had anything here that was not tastey and enjoyed. Subs are stuffed full, cheesesteaks juicey, pizza is on point. I order from Jimmys all the time. Their chopped antipasto is the best I have ever had. The pizza is good but not noteworthy, and their subs are hit or miss. I have had my orders messed up a few times, all with cold subs. They are the best Italian place in the Brielle area that delivers and have consistently fast delivery times. I have never been to their place, but I order takeout often for lunch at work -- at first because they have a super low minimum order for delivery and no delivery fee (most places in my area charge a fee AND have a minimum $10-$20 order...so since it's just me, the fees and tip alone added to the minimum delivery fee would be $30+ just for lunch. Yikes!). After the initial order, they are now my go-to. Not only are they very reasonable with prices, but they have always delivered very quickly, always get my order correct, and the delivery guys are extremely courteous and pleasant. I have ordered something different every time, and been pleased with everything I have ordered. So far, their subs are my fav. Having moved to Brielle from a different shore town I needed to find my go-to pizza place and there was Jimmy's. The menu is huge, and their food is amazing. I live a few miles away from the store and my deliveries (even during peak hours) usually come in around 20-25 minutes after placing the order. Their wings and tenders are great little appetizers, and should always go along with their pizzas. Their subs are tasty as well with fresh ingredients and fair portions.
