I decided to stop in for breakfast. I sat at the bar and waited for someone to take my order. Another person sat at the bar, and they immediately gave their order and got their drink. I sat there about another five minutes with people walking by and not one person stopped to take my order. This place sucks for service if you want to come here and sit and sit and sit and never get your order. This is the place for you. The manager here needs to be fired and somebody replace him to understands what Services is when somebody comes in and how they should attempt to make sure that that person's taken care of in a timely manner. read more

The past three times we have gone there they can't get an order right if there life depended on it! Just thought we would try it one more time and took ny sister in law there. Out of three orders NONE were right! One was suppose to have grilled onion with the potatoes and one order was suppose to have cheese and grilled onion. Wow! Very excited and happy that there's a breakfast place in town that serves Eggs Benedict. This was my first Jimmy's Egg eggs-perience and it was terrific, though I cannot vouch for the ones in the city. Every time I'm back in Oklahoma, we drive past the Jimmy's Egg sign in OKC and I think I need to go there. Now it's so convenient--plus who wants to drive an hour for breakfast? This is your typical, reliable breakfast-oriented diner that serves up omelets, pancakes, as well as some lunch fare (think sandwiches, chicken strips and curly fries). We got the eggs benny (yum), the Popeye's omelets (decent), chicken strips (good) and the biscuits and gravy (biscuit good, gravy=needs more sausage). As for the service, people were very friendly despite how busy they were. Will have to go back to try their cinnamon rolls and cheddar, bacon pancakes (yes! I'm going to try to be positive here it basically is a slightly more expensive Dennys style breakfast diner. The service was lackluster......6 people and the floor was not crowded, we should not have to wait so long for drinks, orders etc. Overall the food was okay, they leave the seasoning off, I am assuming to cater to a sensitive diet or healthy dining...So basically don't forget to sprinkle some salt and pepper if you can. Serve is always important along with how you interact with your staff. The owner should not speak anyone on the clock and make that individual feel small or make they cry. That is what Randy did this morning. There were pieces of egg shell in the burrito and the grits were sooooo COLD that the cheese was stiff at the bottom of the bowl. The Jammin Bacon Cheeseburger is by far THE BEST BURGER EVER. The patty was really juicy, and it being topped off with the bacon aioli sauce just put the whole burger together. Very happy to see a Jimmy's in Duncan! I'm a fan and often visit the metro locations, but my family is from around Duncan and it's nice to have one back there as well. Had lunch at this Jimmy's and while we were one of the only groups there (it was later, around 1:15pm) the service wasn't slow or bad like it can sometimes get when the rush is over. Our waitress was great, offered a lot of suggestions for my grandparents who weren't sure what to order, and was very prompt about providing us with whatever we needed. The quality of our food was excellent and I think everyone was pleased. This may be just me, but I don't care for their homemade bread. It's very tough and a little hard to chew. The taste isn't bad, it's the texture. And this isn't limited to this location -- it's across the board at every Jimmy's I've ever visited. Since this is the first time I've had a sandwich at Jimmy's, I realized how difficult it is to eat that bread :/ And I've got great teeth! The food did taste great though. I would give this visit 5 stars if it wasn't for the state of the floors and some of the tables in the restaurant. There were quite a few workers standing around chatting near the register while there was a lot of cleaning that needed to be done around empty tables. I'll be back though! Me and my friends went after a school gathering (mind you, we are seniors and have been checked out by parents.) We decided Jimmy's Egg would be a good place. I had never been, so I was kind of excited. We had 11 people, so they moved us to the meeting room where we were in there by ourselves, no one at a table behind or in front. The waitress was nice the whole time, but a little too nice..? She called 1 minor Daddy and was flirting with another minor. She said she was only joking. Not only that, but had asked us who were "good tippers", when everyone knows waitresses aren't supposed to ask for a tip. You either get one or don't. I understand waitresses are only working for 2 dollars an hour, but when you go and lie and call our school saying we are disrespectful, left a mess, left no tip, etc. It is not your job to call our school (even though we talked to our principal ourselves, and her words "we can't do anything. they could call your parents") . Most of us are 18-19 years old, so I promise we can all speak for ourselves. Not only that, but I had hair in my food, didn't complain because mistakes are made all the time, cool. But service was crap, food was too greasy, and the workers aren't very nice. I'd say y'all need some new workers with better attitudes! Coming in I had slightly high expectations because breakfast is one of my favorite meals. I had ordered the country Benedict with a side of bacon, and even though the bacon was $3 more for only 3 pieces it was so worth it because the bacon is just awesome! The only part that wasn't amazing was the hash browns....my friends had to cover it in ketchup to make it edible. Other than the potatoes being sub par everything else was so delicious. The Benedict had the best balance of flavors with slightly spicy sausage, oozy centered over medium eggs, a delicious buttermilk biscuit, and covered in gravy. The most boring and tastless breakfast Ive ever eaten! First of all I ordered a 55'older menu omlette. you choose 2 items and one side for $5.99. First of all I wanted hamburger and onion. Shortly I was barked at that "I need to talk to you about your omlette." She informed me they didnt have any hamburger if i wanted it in my omlette I would have to pay an extra $4.99 for a patty.I said ok ill do ham and onion. Then I was informed that didnt include cheese! So an omlette is eggs and cheese with items inside or just eggs and cheese. but I didnt order eggs with ham. i said omlette. When it came it was so bland on the plate out of the corner of my eye i saw a creamer with a blue container. that was all i could see of color. I also ordered a special frozen fudge coffee. It was sour. They must have used a very off brand cheep chocolate. My husband ordered pancakes bacon and a fried egg. The pancakes were good as was the egg but the bacon was not! Before we left he excused himself and lost his whole breakfast. He was never offered not one refill on his coffee. If you have followed me you know I give credit where credit is due. but im telling you if you want a breakfast do not go to Duncan's Jimmys egg. The food is consistent and good. Waitstaff was clearing tables and banging dishes into a plastic bin. Just unbelievably annoying as we were trying to visit amongst ourselves and enjoy our breakfast. We really like going to Jimmy's Egg. Serves very good and wait staff are friendly. Food has always been good and brought to table as ordered. One thing that will not order again is the salad with avacado. The avacado is pre cut and packaged before sending to the stores. It was dark and old. Their hash browns are pretty good too. The service is excellent and it's also very clean here too. Yet, another Duncan fail...I'm thinking "Let's try Jimmy 's Egg in Duncan because it's new and just maybe it's better than all the other restaurants around here and I don't want to drive all the way to Lawton." Well I guess I will be making that trip to Lawton or Okc, where I grew up on Jimmy Egg (If this experience hasn't already ruined my thoughts of this particular restaurant chain). The Duncan location has put Jimmy's Egg to shame, and I dare to ask the waitress when receiving my meal, "Wow, it sure is slow in here." Like a deserted island, it made me wonder about the service. Telling me they were busy when it was brand new earlier this year and now how they are not as much during the week (used to walking in other Jimmy's Eggs always being busy, or at least around lunch time....?) I began to why it's like all the other restaurants around here in Duncan. Like the bad drivers, they must pull from the same pool of people who run down the other restaurants to work for low wages. If they would see that there food and service were less than par, perhaps they would know why their servicers have terrible customer service towards their paying customer who has already paid too much for a horribly overpriced meal. If they would have better service they can be a little more optimistic about the customer returning and telling everyone to go to their establishment to eat. Instead they let the servicers get away with a horrible meal and bad attitude. The worst part was I ordered to go. It's not like I was staying to make their work experience of serving me troughout my meal much worst. Oh no, I would not dare make what they already hate, a grueling 8 hours of serving people food (or lack of it) that much worse (even though they knew what the job intailed upon hire - waitress or waiter - need I say more-it's simple, take the order, serve the food, take payment all the while making sure the food was good and you were nice - not hard right!-wrong...). Dumping green beans on french fries and not even giving the right amount of food compared to the other restaurants isn't what I would call a fair meal. Especially for 8+ dollars. I would hate to see breakfast to go. Ignoring the customer upon entrance - two waitresses were standing there talking and said "hold on...", no "Hello, welcome to Jimmys Egg" no "HiI we will be right with you!" No they go talk to another waitress so they can sing happy birthday to another while you stand there like you have all day. um what was the problem with one going...? Then the sudden urgency to get your order when they haven't even offered you a menu...? Then while you're waiting, you hear the cooks complaining and fighting about the grill...? Ummmm? Not a very friendly atmosphere. No one should lose their job but they should be regarded to before they lose their busines. Oh and something as simple as a container to put the green beans in, instead of dumping them on the fries and making disgustingly soggy wouldn't hurt. All the other Jimmys Egg do it! It may sound funny complaining about green beans...but I want you to see some humor in this because I find it ridiculous that such a simple job us so hard to do and ridiculous that yet again, there is another fail in the Duncan restaurant chain. read more
