The wonderful part of eating here is that a single dish can feed a family of 3 or 4. The pizza was so-so, but the pasta dishes are immense. Not so crazy about the tomato sauce, but other dishes smelled and tasted great. The veal cut was too thick, needed more tenderizing and was very dark, but the breading and seasoning were very good. The same goes for chicken cutlets, at least to our taste. The service was EXCELLENT and the ambiance is pretty standard, but it was very clean. Very family oriented. I've never had a problem with their food but what a recurring disappointment with their meatballs. Second time I've gotten I've gotten them and there won't be a 3rd. I HATE writing bad reviews. Trust me. But I can't stay silent on this place anymore. For the second time in a row I call and the girl immediately says hello and please hold. The first time, she left me on hold for over 5 minutes that I got to the pizza place and I was still on hold and showed her the phone that I was still on hold. Today, same girl, puts me on hold for over 4 minutes. I hang up and call back and she's ready to take my order which means she forgot about me again on hold. So I placed my orde, repeated order, she repeated order and gave her my name. 25 minutes later, I go there and prepared to pay. She looks for my order and says "I don't remember you calling and I don't have an order placed for you". Complete shock. Now here's the tricky part and I'm not making this up or talking out my rear end. I'm an officer, I know some things. This lady was clearly very high. I always figured she had a drug problem because of her demeanor and body type. But today, she was actually showing signs of being high. She apologized and wanted to take my order again and I walked out because I had ordered food at a different place and it would have been cold. Here is a review of the items I tasted whether through ordering or acquiring: Broccoli and Cheddar Soup - Thick, creamy, decadent, and cheesy. Bruno surprised me with this one. May have been the best broccoli and cheddar soup I have had. Garlic Bread with Cheese - Bruno was not playing when he made this. Legit buttery garlic bread topped with melted gooey mozzarella cheese. Pro tip: ask for marinara sauce to dip it in Drunken Mussels - Another Bruno surprise. Buttery garlicky deliciousness Pepperoni pizza with Banana Peppers - Very good balance of cheese, sauce, and toppings. I only could eat one slice because of how much we ate when up until this point. Trust and believe I took the rest home for some awesome leftovers Chicken Parm - This dish is huge! I would share with two people or plan for 2 rounds of leftovers. This had to be my least favorite because it could have been seasoned a bit more The hangry bunch and I would definitely recommend this place. We were missing an entire meal but luckily I spotted that before I left. When I got home and started to hand everything out is when it really went south. Hamburger with fry's only there was none... burger didn't even come with proper toppings (lettuce, tomato). The pizza was not cooked enough even tho we said "Well Done". Toppings on that pizza were not portioned properly as if it was just chucked on without any care. Seems like a lot of young fellas working there need to focus on the orders more. Since we moved here 4 years ago, we have tried a lot of places to eat since it's just me & my husband now. Brother Bruno is hands down delicious. I'm not a pizza person, but my husband can eat pizza every day for every meal. I try things like burgers, meatballs, pastas, etc. Their burgers are delish for a pizza place (except when you say medium, you get more like medium well), but things like their chicken fingers make up for that. Never over cooked or dry. Today, we tried the chicken francese over penne & it's amazing & generous with the portions. Nothing was dry & the flavor was perfect. My husband also ordered a calzone with sausage & he said it was perfect. The counter staff ladies are always nice & they have your order ready ASAP. We can not wait to try more items. If I had to ask for anything, it would be delivery AND for a NICE Potato & Egg hero on the menu!!! My mom tried their pepper & egg heroes & their sausage, pepper & egg hero & she loved them. She was the one who said if they can make this & it tastes like an old Italian bklyn pizzeria, she can imagine how good a fresh potato & egg hero would be from Brunos!
