I had a mani and pedi. It's nice and relaxing. They give you sparkling juice and fresh fruit and a back massage. Definitely not the best job on the nails though. They only apply one coat of polish so it's already chipping 2 hrs later. My nails are uneven and they didn't do much to my callouses. Overall, I enjoyed my experience at Jimmy's. My pedicure turned out great-- an added bonus was the fruit I got to snack on while getting my feet rubbed. The only thing that wouldn't have made the pedicure better was an actual massage chair. Jimmy's chairs just vibrate. I also got a manicure. I chose to get gel polish, since I was leaving on vacation and wanted it to last. The back rub while my nails were drying was an amazing bonus. This was my first experience with gel polish and I'm not sure it's worth the extra dollars. The polish around my cuticles began pulling up on a number of fingers after only a couple of days. Looking back, I don't think they pushed back and trimmed the cuticles on my fingers or filed the tops of my nails, like they do with a pedicure. It's been a week now and two of my fingers look pretty bad, with almost a third of the polish peeling off. Quite disappointed with how my manicure has lasted. read more

Great reviews and perfect location lured me in but my experience was not up to par. Called ahead of time for a manicure and pedicure for two on a Monday (mon&tues $50 mani/pedi deal). Walked in on time, it was great to not have a strong chemical odor slap you in face as they use all natural products. Stood around the door for 10 min before anyone to greet us as they were all running around in chaos and the seating area was packed. The pedicure chairs look nice but are far from comfortable, do not recline, and only attempt to massage you with weak vibrations. Offered us drinks and fruit and I actually decided the $6 was worth it in an attempt to get slightly relaxed with the frenzy for a view and sitting at 90 degrees for the entire treatment. The actual pedicure was okay, color selection was scarce, massage portion was weak with a couple strokes and squeezes at my leg, poor heel scrub, slapped on some salt scrub and lotion, and at least could keep the polish off my skin. Left me for a good 20min for my nails to dry and completely dismissed the fact that I booked for manicures as well. Decided I was done at this point and did not want to add to their already over booked schedule. Basically felt like a dressed up/hyped up nail salon that serves cheap wine and beer with a side of cheap fruit tray fruit to add to your bill. In all honestly could have spent $15 more for a real spa pedicure experience or $20 less for the same quality nail care or better at a less chaotic try-hard salon. read more

BEST PEDICURE EVER!!!!! My two roommates and I went in after purchasing the Bham Dealsaver coupons and we were not disappointed! We were treated like royalty; served fresh, delicious, yummy fruit and complementary sparkling lemonade. All the staff we encountered were so kind and sweet and they really made an effort to get to know us. Their English is much better than most pedicures places and we could easily strike up conversations with them. It was really a fun time! And of course, our feet looked amazing! The amount of pride and detail they put into their work is commendable! My toes haven't looked this good.....ever!! Finally, I must comment on the sugar scrub massage- that was devine! Overall, it was so refreshing to be in a nail spa that doesn't wreak of chemicals; such a fresh atmosphere. Will definitely be back! read more

I booked four pedicures for myself, best friend, and our daughters to celebrate an upcoming event. I have been to Jimmy's a few times since they opened and it has always been a great experience. This time was a disappointment. They were very busy. The foot bath was lukewarm, I told her she could add more hot water, but it didn't happen. She seemed stressed and really focused on getting me finished and out of the chair. My friend was done and quickly escorted out of the chair in 25 minutes. Our entire group was sitting back in reception 30 minutes after we arrived! I wouldn't consider this a "spa" experience but more of an "express" pedicure. Not the relaxing pampering that I remember from past years. With that said, what I am most disappointed with is the pedicure itself. Even if the "spa" experience was lacking, I wouldn't be giving a two-star review if the end product was good. My pedicure is no better than what I do at home. They were in such a hurry to get through us and on to the next that I had polish on my toes, a nail smudged, and it looks like she only did one layer of polish. Super disappointed in the quality. I had already purchased two gift certificates for pedicures at Jimmy's before this happened. My daughter and I decided we will use them and give them one more chance. I am really hoping this was an isolated experience and that quality/care will be much better and I will be in the chair longer than 30 minutes. Honestly I was not impressed with this place. Today was my first time coming here, I made a appointment for 3:00pm and when I got there they seemed confused and there wasn't anyone to greet you either. This was probably one of the fastest pedi I've gotten. They didn't clean my feet at all, or even cleaned underneath my toe nails. Honestly for 35 bucks this was not great and I will not be going back. The only reason I went was because I got a gift card for it. read more

The only place to go! Jimmy's experience is first class. We were a party of 8 coming in for my sisters wedding. The entire staff went out of their way to make each of us feel first class. Amazing service resulting in outstanding manicure and pedicure. We had a horrible experience at Dirty Dan's and our reservations for 8 did not work out. Jimmy was on the phone to local restaurants to find us a new location. He booked us a reservation and then called as we were walking to the restaurant to make sure they knew we were on our way. We were greeted with our own little fruit plates and champagne and treated like royalty. Jimmy himself helped us pick out the right colors and ensured our time went smoothly. This place was all that it is advertised to be. I had planned a mother-daughter weekend for myself and another mom-daughter for our college girls. Mani-pedi was a top requirement. Finding a place with 4 spa chairs was a challenge until I ran across Jimmy's. The staff accommodated my appointment request to the T. We had exceptional service; not a swift mani-pedi in under 45 minutes like some places. Ladies had a generous glass of wine; girls had water/soda. The place was very upscale and well appointed. Even our daughters were impressed with the decor. Plenty of products to chose from, and cleanliness was obvious. We will come back to Jimmy's for next year's Mother-Daughter weekend, if not sooner. read more

They use SPA RITUAL products which are Vegan and have none of those nasty nail polish chemicals The foot soak tubs are Stainless Steel, which eliminates the possibility of getting a crazy foot fungus The attention to detail that the staff gives you is amazing. They take the time to make your visit comfortable and fun! Not only do they give you bottled water, but a cute little Fruit Plate and Crackers! All worth the cost...$35! I took my college-age daughters for pedicures as part of a fun day trip to Bellingham (visiting from Seattle). Best service EVER. We felt pampered throughout (for starters with fruit and sparkling water), the place is CLEAN, and no chemical smell. Jimmy himself is actively managing the place (active, but in a fun and . . . enjoyable way). The furnishings are elegant and there's just a great vibe about the place. I felt the price was very reasonable considering the exceptional service, cleanliness, emphasis on natural products, and the really beautiful pedicures. We came here today to celebrate my birthday because we haven't been too impressed by the other nail salons in Bellingham. This place was amazing! We were given fruit and drinks and on top of our beautiful manicures we got amazing massages. If you're only looking to get nails done and spend a bit less you can go elsewhere, but this is a great place to go and be pampered AND know that your nails will look good after. I got the treatment done the day before I left it was $115 for both gel treatments. 4 days later 2 mails had cracked, the next day my wedding day I was super gluing my nail on. Sad to say my recent visit will be my last to Jimmys. Have been coming here for the past few years and I find the services are being rushed and not done to the quality standards previously provided. Nails cut too short they were painful x 3 days, chipping nail polish after 1 week on toes. Last visit I did receive a nice leg massage with scrub but no lotion on legs. Technician left to help another customer and after letting things dry for a few minutes, no one was available to help with carefully sliding on my sandals. For the price, I'll definitely be going elsewhere. Too bad as this was a place my whole family of four would go and I've also taken out of town guest. Gave 2 stars for ambiance and always enjoy the fruit. read more

Best eyebrow wax I've ever had. The woman who did them spent 30 minutes transforming my brows into something amazing. The whole salon is very clean and upscale. The people who work there are friendly. The eyebrow wax was only $15 but a pedicure and manicure there is going to cost you a lot more, however they are true spa treatment manicures and pedicures and your hands and feet will enjoy the treat!! I have yet to see this place crowded and I went in for the eyebrow wax without an appointment, but if you're going with multiple people you will probably want to call in advance. I have been a customer at Jimmy's for years and have recommended the place to others but today I had the worst experience. Two hours for a mani and pedi. Four different people worked on my nails. One I'm sure didn't know what she was doing and said her friend would fix. Polite but tend to take too many customers and then don't give their best service. Very disappointed in their service, you get more out of a strip mall nail salon. They were rude and didn't take thier time with us and half fast the whole thing. Me and my boyfriend were the only two there late afternoon so it wasn't like they were busy. Didn't offer to add flower detail. You can tell they were talking poorly of us and they were eating food in frount of us while or nails were drying. Price for quality was dismal, didn't even remove all of the old polish before applying new. Probably could have cut my own toenails with a pair of scissors better than the job that was done. I think I found my new favorite place for getting my nails done! I got a mani-pedi. When seated for my pedicure in huge massage chairs I was given choice of beverages and a fruit plate. Yum! Onna gave a fabulous foot and leg massage and my feet were well cared for! The manicure was also excellent. She did great on my cuticles and was very thorough, even arm and hand massage. They also give you a complimentary head, neck, shoulders massage. It was so relaxing! On Mondays and Tuesdays a mani-pedi was $50. Otherwise $35 for pedi and $25 for manicure. I believe they only use vegan/organic polishes--there were no harsh smells. Pedicures are a good value--$35 includes complimentary sparkling water and a fresh fruit plate plus a leg massage/scrub--the lotion/scrub products used smelled great (mango).
