If you want to catch Covid, this is the place to go. Not only do customers not wearing masks, which would be OK if they were at the table but nobody does when walking around or in the door, but the staff does not wear any masks while preparing your food, ringing you up, or serving you. They even have a sign out that it's their constitutional right to not wear a mask even though it is in violation of Texas law and McKinney law. My kids keep begging to go back here. The buffet is awesome! Tons of different kinds of pizza and if there isn't one you like, you can place a special order and they'll make it! The lasagna as part of the buffet was unexpectedly good. The dessert pizza deserves a trophy. It is ridiculously delicious! Both a cinnamon one and a chocolate one. Oh my goodness! The chocolate one is to die for! Plus you can add some soft serve vanilla ice cream on there...mmmmm The staff was incredibly friendly, helpful and patient. There are a lot of us (6 kids!) and they didn't bat an eye. They also have coloring pages for the kids and are so welcoming. I was also impressed with the prices. Sometimes at buffets I feel like I'm paying way too much for my little ones who don't eat very much, but here they wanted to eat and the price for them was very affordable! So I've lived in the area for 2 years and just found this jewel! I heard about it from a grubhub coupon which was no longer available because of an overwhelming response, which was disappointing, however I still decided to give it a try. My pizza was delicious. I ordered a medium Jim's combination a baked wings. The pizza was great. Lots of toppings and very flavorful. The wings weren't bad but I guess I prefer my wings fried. You can order great food to go, but your best bet is to hit the place at lunch or supper time and eat all you can on the buffet. Fresh salad bar with lots of choices to dress it up, lots of pizza flavors, and you can always request your favorite, most of the time they'll fix it right up!! There's always spaghetti with yummy meat sauce. Sometimes there are wings, sandwiches, and / or lasagna. There's garlic toast and often cheese bread. Dessert pizza and soft serve ice cream. Tea is always fresh. People are always friendly and many of the faces you see are the ones you've seen for years. If you are full when you leave, it'll be your own fault. Oh. I love this pizza!! I love pizza, and Jim's does it right! My boss ordered pizza from them a whole lot during the Christmas season when we were working long hours and didn't have much time for lunch breaks. I took my fiance in there and we ordered a pizza (obviously) and it was fast, and delicious! The next time we went we opted for the pizza buffet and it was awesome too! The crust is always crisp and fresh, and never soggy. The cheese is good and the toppings are always fresh and tasty! The place is usually full, and the service is good. I absolutely love their pepperoni pizza, but I like to get it with mushrooms and onions too! I really look forward to the next time we decide to go there. The pizza was good. We went for the buffed. Everyone was super friendly and accommodating. We loved the homemade salad dressing. The options in salad bar weren't over the top, but good. I don't think Jim pays attention to the reviews of his restaurant because if he did things would change. The place is very dingy and stains in carpet and the pizza and quality of the food has gone way down not to mention they are way over priced compared to cici's pizza and a couple of other places. Mr Jim is to busy taking pictures on facebook in his pool. I grew up on this pizza and over time the people that are now running the place have moved away from the quality and integrity that Jim put into the place. Jim's Pizza is in all caps THE BEST DIRTY HOLE IN THE WALL PIZZA JOINT IN THE WORLD BAR NONE. i mean that as a real compliment! its one of those places that dosen't look like much, even maybe a little dirty at first glance but there fresh pizzas are so oh my god delicious. Very fast delivery. I have ordered here multiple times and the order arrives in thirty minutes or less. And we live pretty far. Lots of customizations for your order. But the delivery fee is steep. It's still good so we will purchase occasionally but the price for delivery and tip can easily exceed $7.00. It's like the cost of another pizza. I'm not cheap but I don't like overpaying. I believe the delivery fee is $4.00. More than any other competitor I'm aware of. read more

I tried the lunch buffet the hostess was friendly and nice. Buffet was good, and they ask if there was any specific pizza I wanted them to make. Small place but good fresh salad bar and blazing hot pizza straight from the oven. They had home made lasagne the day I came in. They charged $11.00 for the buffet and a drink. While anxious to try Jim's based on reviews, found the pizza to be salty, with little sauce, and a tasteless crust. While very liberal in the amount of sausage they used, it had a processed food taste I had trouble eating. A little better quality (but very similar) than frozen oven pizza, but with lots of choices and without the heat of turning on the oven or doing dishes. Also, the service was very polite and I would certainly rather give money to a family owned establishment than that "other" pizza chain that serves buffet. Good pizza on the buffet. Hot Hot Hot and the turnaround for the pizza is incredibly fast. The place was really busy at 6:30m on a Thursday. Lot of family's of all ages. Spaghetti was also on the buffet and a good sized salad bar. I particularly liked the fact the guy announced what pizza/pizza combo he was putting out fresh on the buffet. Very disappointing indeed. The staff was very nice and accommodating but the pizza Is seriously not good at all. The crust was too thin. I made a delivery order and didn't get my pizza until 2 hours and 15 minutes later. It was cold and was missing toppings. I also didn't receive the side of ranch or soda I paid for. Jim's Pizza is a throwback to the great pizzas of yesteryear. The crust is crisp and light and the toppings are ultra fresh every time. Takeout is great but the buffet is the way to go - the pizza is always well-stocked and hot and ready. Plus, they're great about putting our favorites out when we come in. A-Ok! My friend thought it was real tasty, gives it four (4) stars. Visited two times. The pizza was very, very fresh. Restaurant was packed both times, but tables available, seated right away. They serve spaghetti and another dish on the side, and fresh salad bar. First visit was lasagna second visit was wings. Both were tasty. Service prompt and good. Have not eaten the dessert, but appeared to have cinnamon and sugar pizza. (not sure of any other desserts). 3 stars because I would not crave it or go out of my way to eat here.
