Cool chic trendy brunch cafe atmosphere. Greeted with smiles all around. Most all of the food was good for the price, wife's biscuit was not done in the middle, probably just a rush in the kitchen. My husband sat down and I went to the restroom, no service, I come out and it's still another 5 min or so before we see anyone. Can't say anymore than you've got to try B&B cafe! From the very sweet and kind hostess and servers to the relaxing vibe of the entire restaurant. I had the pleasure of enjoying their bacado 3-egg omelette, some crispy hash browns, 2 fluffy and tasty pancakes and a cup of best tasting diner coffee this side of the Rio Grand. Stopped in around 1 on a Saturday and it was slowing down. We ordered breakfast and I was surprised with the large portions. Our server was great and we all enjoyed our food. I can't believe I have not been here sooner. There was a wait when we arrived on the weekend, but it was worth it. Service-wise, everyone we encountered was pleasant and friendly. The restaurant felt a bit small, and it was packed. It was running very smoothly. We did not have to wait too long to order or for the food to arrive. We enjoyed absolutely everything we ordered. This place was recommended to me by a close friend. Unfortunately, we did not have a good experience. We actually tried twice, separated by close to a year. This time, our service was bad. We were in on a weekday, around Noon. There were just a few customers. Our server was very poor. We think she was probably cleaning up in the back or something because service was very slow. At one time, I asked for a coffee refill. It never came. I asked her a second time and she said that they were heating up the coffee. It did taste old when we finally got it. My wife's order was wrong. She waited to tell the server but, she did not come around to check on us so wife eventually ate it. Both of our meals were far from hot. I ordered the biscuit and gravy meal. The gravy was very bland and they used very little sausage. I wish them good luck but we will not be back. read more

The gf pancake was a little dry around the edges. It's a big meal, I took 1/2 home. It would be nice if there was real cream available for those who prefer it to the room temp cream in the little cups. Used to rate this 5 star. Loved the Smuckers blackberry jelly packets. They no longer have them. Now they provide some jelly in a small cup from the kitchen. TAKE OFF A STAR. Bring back the Smuckers blackberry jelly. It was what made the difference between good and excellent. You get your fifth star back when you do. The wait staff is still wonderful. They have a lot of students earning their way through school. Always a pleasure to talk with them. Meals are too heavy on carbs (potatoes). We solve that problem by ordering sides instead. Should offer something else to choose from. Let's say toast. Food is always tasty and quick to arrive. We still love B&B, but miss the Smuckers jelly. read more

We used to go to B&B every Sunday for brunch and brought visiting family there often. Unfortunately, things have gone downhill over the years with new ownership and unnecessary changes. The fries used to be battered and well-seasoned, but now they're bland and taste like frozen dried out potatoes. Pancakes that were once fluffy and flavorful are now flat and chewy. The breakfast burrito, which used to be grilled on both sides, now comes in a raw tortilla. The salsa is still great, and the servers have mostly been sweet but it's not enough to make up for the overall decline. These small things really made a difference in the quality. It seems like these changes were made out of laziness. It just doesn't feel like the same place anymore. read more

Took our food order and disappeared. My wife's French toast and my boys food came out. Mine was nowhere to be seen. I had to get up and go find syrup for my wife's French toast by the time I found it. Her toast was already cold. Still no sign of my skillet. It finally arrived and it was cold. On a Father's Day Sunday, we were able to get a table for 4 in less than 15 minutes! Yes!! There is everything on the menu here and you will find something for everyone. As soon as we were seated someone came to the table to take our order. We had the Brioche French Toast, the Bacado Omlette (bacon avocado), and for the healthy palettes, avocado toast and fruit Parfait. We requested the bacado with no cheese and it came with cheese (the hubs can't have dairy) but they quickly brought out another one with no cheese! The service is amazing here! Today is Mother's and as busy as it was they managed to get people taken care of and our order was done perfectly. This is our 3rd or 4th time here. First time at this place and never coming again. My daughter and I went for a breakfast date. 1. The old lady at the front never gave us eye contact. Waited for a long time to acknowledge our presence putting other people before us. 2 . When she finally sat us down... didn't tell any waitress about us .everyone was getting their orders taken but it took ours an extra 10 min. 3. I wanted to leave but my daughter was so hungry so I decided to stay and give this place the benefit of the doubt... over my first impression. 4. Decided to to a look around and access the place. And noticed other people of color were also being ignored. 5. A young black lady sat for 10 mins and left because the front lady was ignoring her like she did to us. 6. I heard few Indian and Latino in my neighborhood complaining of feeling ignored and given burned food. 7. When the food finally came was burned, dried and had an off taste. I really wanted to like this place because I love supporting local businesses. 8. The bathroom was dirty and the lock was not working. Had to lean against the door while my daughter used the bathroom. Also the sink had something greenish- bluish around all metal. Not coming here again. I check into B & B every once in a while when my schedule allows, usually weekdays because I can't afford to line up and wait in weekend morning. Took my wife for breakfast and we decided to order one savory and one sweet breakfast for contrast, also allows us to not overeat since I'll usually get a bigger meal and up charge a sweet. We were seated right away, comfortable and clean booth, our server appeared within moments and took our drinks orders. On today's plates we chose the Bacado omelette and crepes with strawberries and bananas, added a coffee and tea for my wife. The Omelette came with hash browns, cooked just right, and fluffy and full egg ensemble had bacon, spinach and cheese in it, and sliced avocado atop like a blankie. Omelette was very nicely done!, full of flavor, not over salted. And good size portion. The crepes are next level for me; the crunch on the edges of the crepe was phenomenal!! Pillowey in the middle and just the right texture. The fruit was fresh and just a touch it syrup made it perfect. The place was close to full on a Thursday morning at 8:45am, and more people pulling up; that's all you need to know. The pancakes were very flavorful and moist. I highly recommend them if you must choose between the toast, biscuits, and pancakes for a side. A lovely lady greeted us & said they had a table but be aware of busy rush in next 30 min. She was right, this place is busy, quaint, homie, comfortable. Very large breakfast & lunch menu. We each ordered somethg different from skillet, classic breakfast, omelet & fruit covered waffle. The biscuits so fluffy, stack of pancakes & waffle were heavenly with warm maple syrup. There are only 4 tables with people right now and it's been 22 minutes since we were seated and we don't have food. It took 10 minutes for a waitress to come by, although the hostess and another waitress were clearly looking at our family and talking . When the food arrived it wasn't our full order. No syrup for our pancakes and the French fries were stale, pancakes were cold, bacon came later. This isn't the B&B we are used to. Very disappointing and won't be back. read more
