One year later ... and I feel like kicking my former self in the butt. Who goes to a wings place for a salad? Apparently, me one year ago. I've since wised up and actually went here for the wings. Amazing. Super good quality wings with great flavors. I do wish they had more rubs, but what can you do? They are also decently priced. The space is nothing fancy, but if you want good wings and don't care much about the space, here's your place. I stopped by and grabbed take out. It did take a bit, but I didn't mind the wait. i love wings and have been largely disappointed w fort collins selection but i think this is the best. the yakatori sauce was pretty good although i wish there was more spice and/or zing to it. it's not a flavor i would normally go for in the first place it just sounded good in the moment so to someone who loves teriyaki it's probably about perfect. i did order them fried hard so it's in part on me but there were a couple bites just too dry and crispy but one a couple little bits it's no biggie! otherwise pretty good chicken and good size wings not the little bitty baby ones u get sometimes. ample carrots and celery given and good consistency ranch. they also have a special rotating sauce/rub every month and a good dine in couples deal so those things r fun. friendly staff and a clean restaurant. the price is unbeatable for fort collins. would definitely go again:) read more

After having Jim's recommended by two different coworkers, I was excited to see what the fuss was about. The short course is, the food was not remotely worth the hype. My wife ordered fish and chips. They were inedible. We could not identify whether or not what was served was fish. Oddly there were two different fried foods served. One was rubbery. The other, also flavorless was in no way fish. My daughter ordered chicken strips. They were heavily breaded and on par with grocery store deli offering. I ordered ten wings. 5 medium and 5 Yakitory. The flavor was good, the wings themselves were a joke. They were extremely tiny, and the majority were flats. All three of us agreed, we will not eat at Jim's again. read more

I am a connoisseur of chicken wings and the standard of perfection was set by Jim's. The wings are crispy and sized right. The sauces are classic and blended to the right viscosity. I live an hour away but still visit the town of my alma mater as often as I can to get these wings faced. The customer service should not be downplayed. Quick, friendly services that always takes care of their guests. If ownership ever wants to sell - give me a call. The wings are good and this place is always busy. Which speaks to the popularity of Jim's. Parking is hard to come by and the parking lot is a pain to navigate. There is no designated to go pick up area once inside. You just have to wait in line and by the time you get your order it's already soggy. read more

Went to Jim's after a csu Basketball game. First off parking is a nightmare, very crowded lot. Walked in and there was definitely a funky smell that hits you. Almost like a wing sauce with a cleaning solution smell. Once you hurdle those obstacles it's time to decide what kind of wings to order. We went with the traditional hot and teriyaki. I must say the wings were delicious but very tiny in proportion the sides were abundant. I'd like to try this place again as it was packed and I felt rushed to give up our spot to other patrons who also had kids and we're standing waiting for somewhere to sit. read more

We like to think we've tried a few wings in our day and we loved these so much we went back twice in the four days we camped. This place is awesome! Been coming here since the early 2000's. Was in town August 2020 and decided to swing by to see if it was still as good. Didn't disappoint. Was the same great quality of wings, fries, & stuffed mushrooms. The wings are kind of small, but I like them that way because they're crispy that way. Sauces are all great too. Terrible! Cannot understand the 5 star reviews. We just moved to FC and thought we would try this place as an alternative to BWW. Always want to patronize local places. What a disaster! We sat at table for almost an hour with no food. Finally had to ask where was our food and they eventually said 5-7 minutes (about enough time to cook the food if you started now). About 5-6 min later they showed up with only the side orders. Wings took another 10 min, but that forced us to either eat our sides alone and then wings alone, or eat cold sides with wings. The wings were tiny! The little tiny ones the size of your pinky finger that the restaurants buy from Sysco for 20c each. They just sloshed a bunch of hot sauce on and called it good. We left hungry and very disappointed. Over an hour for 15 wings and 3 sides? And there was only 7 tables total at the time. I love hot wings and get them often at many difference places. These were very underwhelming. First and last time coming here. Next time going to try Wing Shack instead. read more
