While I'll never order pick up or delivery here ever again, I've come here a few times to dine in and they're fine. I like that there's a separate vegetarian section of the menu and that everything there is vegan.

This is a review for delivery. I was feeling very poorly and the only thing I was craving was Jintana's tom yum noodle soup . It was absolutely delicious and it hit the spot! Arrived piping hot and not a drop was spilt . Thank you Jintana ! So fortunate to have this option .

Sometimes even when you have a reservation, you end up waiting because the space can only hold so many people! Thankfully it wasn't too cold and after about 45 minutes, we were seated! We ordered the super power green curry and it had the slightest tingle of spice that leaves you feeling warm from the inside- which is perfect on any cold night! After some curry to warm us up, we dove into the pad krapow and the pad Thai with calamari added on! OMG the calamari was amazing!! Just sad we didn't get a separate order... but we were full by then because we got rice to go with the pad krapow, so it all worked out! The Pad Krapow was heavily seasoned and so a bowl of rice really helps with UMAMI flavor bomb from the dish. Usually we round out the night with desserts, but we were too stuffed! Definitely worth trying out in-person and if you don't mind waiting in line for good food! (I suggest called ahead too to check on waiting time if time is not your friend!)

This is the only authentic Thai place in the neighborhood- my favorite is their lunch special. The food is remarkable and the staff takes care of its guests. The ambiance is just your usual low key Asian restaurant- no frills

I have returned once again to enjoy my original try! Still tasty as ever and this time I had a butterfly pea iced tea which had a great flavor. The service was great and the ambiance a comfortable place for me to sit, enjoy a view and my delicious food on Memorial Day! Thankies again for an awesome restaurant

Stopped by Monday at Noon, and got the lunch special. Quick and attentive service. Great pop music playing, and I loved the decor. Most memorable was the mango sticky rice! It was perfectly sweet and the sticky rice had some great coconut flakes on it and so fragrant. I would come back to try this again and check out the outdoor area.

A casual restaurant with good food and friendly service. The interior is bright and warm, with lights and wood furniture. The kitchen is visible from the front door. The catfish dish is delicious and boneless - it would have been nice to have a few more pieces. The noise level is high; there is music on. Bathrooms are in the back.

The service here is so darn great. The menu has a great selection - was difficult to decided what to order for our group. But they were very patient and we landed on doing family style. Every dish was on point *chefs kiss* We got the following to share amongst 3 people: Papaya salad - great flavor, could have used more crunch Veggie dumplings - wasn't a fan, a forgettable dish Green curry with chicken arrived in a lunch pail. Very tasty. Wasn't as hearty as expected but the curry itself was marvelous. Fried fish with two spicy sauces - was excellent Pad Krapow - smaller than expected but by then we were nearing full so worked out! Topped with an egg And two mango sticky rice (that I promise I shared)

Honestly my all time favorite authentic Thai place in Brooklyn. Just walking down the street you can smell how amazing this place is, been here more then a dozen times! For an app go with the Poh Pai Tod (fried veggie spring rolls) the best spring rolls I have ever had. The filling is always different veggies, very seasonal and you can tell they make them fresh. They always come out insanely crispy and hot without being greasy. A staple every time I come. I usually go with a noodle dish for my main, the Veggie Pad Thai is my favorite. If your in the area for lunch come here! They have a lunch set that comes in these little bowls that sit on top of each other, it comes with a soup, two crispy spring rolls and your entree of choice. The Tom Kha Kai soup is the one I go with, it's so light but cooked so well. It always has great vegetables in it that are all cooked through.

Superb food, great pricing, & attentive (but not intrusive) service. I also appreciate the playlist. They've apparently the best khao soi in town. Friend just came back from Thailand recently and said the northern Thai cuisine tastes authentic & point! Ample portions.

Ask the Community - Jintana Thai Farmhouse

Do they serve alcohol or are they BYOB?

We are in the process of getting our wine and beer license. In the meantime, we’ve been given specific instructions by the city to not allow “byob” through this time.

Are the lunch specials available during the weekend?

From my experience, they only serve lunch specials through the weekdays.

    Do they do reservations?

They actually do not. I called and they said sure and I gave the time, number of people and my name, but when we got here they told us "no reservations". We're a party of 5 sitting in a 4 person booth. Kind of rude..

Our group of 4 started with a bottle of Pinot Grigio and a few appetizers to share, namely: Som tum papaya salad and dumplings curry. For the main entree, my eyes caught the attention of clay pot mix-fried rice with shrimp, chicken, sweet sausage, and my partner chose shrimp pad thai. Nothing really stood out with the dishes; I found it to be a bit Americanized, having eaten in so many Thai restaurants around New York City. Overall, we enjoyed our dinner here; our food came in timely fashion, and the customer service is good as well, but it's probably not your place if you are seeking a more authentic Thai-style cooking.

PLEASE get the mango stick rice cocktail omg it was gone in like 5 sips because it was so good. The tuna ceviche was so refreshing and the sauce had a little kick to it which I absolutely loved! It was like a sprinkle of Thai on a classic tuna ceviche. Note the taro chips are a little thicker than a typical chip! The pork jowl wasn't as crispy as I expected but it was still flavorful and the portion size was huge, considering how it was an appetizer. We got pineapple lychee crispy duck, crab fried rice, and kana crispy pork over rice as our entree. ALL WERE SO GOOD! The curry for the pineapple lychee crispy duck was so creamy and flavorful, with the duck portion being huge and being the perfect texture. I loved that it was crispy and didn't get soggy fast in the curry. The crab fried rice was top tier as there were SO MANY HUGE CRAB PIECES!! You can definitely tell that it had flavors of seafood/crab.. they did not skimp out! And the kana crispy pork over rice was huge portion as well, but note that it was a big strong/saltier than the other dishes. For dessert, the pandan coconut pudding custard was SO yummy. It was warm and so flavorful and creamy!! I fell in love with Brooklyn even more after coming here. Highly recommend!!

I feel differently about Hungry Thirsty. At this point I've been to countless Thai restaurants, and for the most part they've all been fantastic. Compared to all those fantastic meals the flavors here still stand out and I'm excited to read that they're expanding with additional locations. They have a phenomenal and lengthy beer selection, which is fun because it complements the spicy fried dishes quite well. The fried branzino and shrimp and squid in salted duck yolk were very tasty with white rice but the dish that lit up my taste buds was the Kai Jeow Pu- colossal crab omelette. The egg was deep fried in an aromatic oil and filled with fresh, large pieces of crab and served with a phenomenal zesty sauce. The place is tiny and no frills, and our server chafed at my partner for pronouncing a beer on their menu incorrectly, which just added to the experience. I loved it here!

And an order of Khao Na Ped (smoked vegan duck) and Ginger Chicken (vegan). All served well with good portion. What I personally liked is the 2 dishes took a bit, not slow or long but IMHO taking a little bit always seems it was cared for in prep. Who knows just my thing. The staff has a challenge to accommodate outdoor seating as the bldg doesn't have an inside/back door for them and they must carry food out the front door, down the sidewalk and into the garden area. That's tough but they do it with grace. I enjoyed the food and the event so much that I've returned and told others to go as well. What I like the most is that Chiangmai's expansive menu showcases aspects of Thai cuisine that you're probably not getting at your neighborhood spot. Many items are Northern Thai style dishes. I'd never had Khao Soi before coming here and I was blown away. The chiangmai sausage is also delicious. The roasted duck curry boasts deep flavor while also maintaining the crispiest duck skin. For appetizers, we started with the crispy salmon belly bites and the moo ping. Frying salmon is risky, but the fattiness of the belly keeps it from drying out. The moo ping is nicely grilled and served with a sweet sauce. You just can't go wrong ordering meat on a stick. As an entree, I tried the Gaeng Awm Nur, a soup-like beef dish served with a side of sticky rice. Our server had been really nice and welcoming, so I felt ok asking how I should eat my meal. She advised that I make a ball of some sticky rice with my hand, mash it a bit, and then dip it into the soup. Thai food achievement unlocked! Now I know what to do next time I'm served sticky rice. There's so much on the menu it can be hard to choose. This is encouragement to go with someone else who enjoys food so you can choose things to share! You won't be disappointed and in fact may find that your regular Thai spots could step up their game in comparison.
