The place is nicely decorated inside but kind of small. There might have been some tables in the back but didn't really notice it. Ordered a bunch of different things but everything tasted great. Wifey absolutely loved the pad see ew with beef. The chive pancakes and calamari were delish. The spring rolls were typical but tasted good. And I enjoyed the Thai iced coffee. Sister ordered a chicken dish and I can't recall the name. It took the longest to arrive cuz of prep. But the chicken had great flavor and personally didnt need any of the side sauces on it. We ordered dinner tonight and received the completely wrong items. When we called, the restaurant blamed the Uber Eats driver -- which makes no sense. The driver delivers whatever is packed; if the wrong food is in the bag, that's on the restaurant. We ordered Cornish hen, pad krapow with chicken, and mango salad. Instead, we received two soggy, disappointing dishes: pad Thai and pad kee mao with chicken. Timeline: * Ordered at 7:15 PM * Food arrived at 8:00 PM -- wrong items * Called right away, then they told us they would call back. Then they told us "Sorry, the kitchen is closing, you'll get a refund from Uber Eats." That's it. No attempt to fix the order, no effort to remake the food, no accountability -- just passing the problem off. Mistakes happen, but how you handle them matters. Came here on a weekday lunch time to get their lunch special. I got the kao kai jeauw moo sab from their thai pinto lunch box which is the fried egg omelette with minced pork and Jasmine fried rice. It does take a while for the food to come so please be patient. The container that came with the lunch is so nostalgic! It was not busy as we walked in around 1pm on Wednesday so the noise level was not that loud. The staff is super friendly and helpful. We had a great time at Jintana Thai Farmhouse with my husband and little guy. I really enjoyed the original pad thai - it was very flavorful and had that umami feel for me. My husband got the pad see ew and he equally thought his was delicious! We got my little guy a kids menu meal with the chicken and sticky rice and while he ate it, he much more enjoyed the pad see ew :) The staff was so nice and friendly and super patient with my questions and indecisiveness for my little guy because he has never really had these kinds of flavors. I have also gotten the food to go and enjoyed it (fairly soon after). I recently tried the seasoned pork over the pad thai and like that even more! I will definitely be back! read more

Overall, I think the ambience of eating there would be nice with a small group of friends (maybe 2-3) and eating alone here on a quieter time is probably very doable as well. I got a chicken pad see ew and I chose mild spicy. In hindsight, I should've chosen regular spicy because to me, it wasn't spicy at all. Sometimes even when you have a reservation, you end up waiting because the space can only hold so many people! Thankfully it wasn't too cold and after about 45 minutes, we were seated! We ordered the super power green curry and it had the slightest tingle of spice that leaves you feeling warm from the inside- which is perfect on any cold night! After some curry to warm us up, we dove into the pad krapow and the pad Thai with calamari added on! OMG the calamari was amazing!! Just sad we didn't get a separate order... but we were full by then because we got rice to go with the pad krapow, so it all worked out! The Pad Krapow was heavily seasoned and so a bowl of rice really helps with UMAMI flavor bomb from the dish. Usually we round out the night with desserts, but we were too stuffed! After my terrible experience with take out during covid times, I wasn't sure I would come back here but I am glad I did give it a 2nd chance. The food definitely tastes much better in person when it's served fresh and hot. Our go-to menu pick here is the pineapple fried rice, the massaman chicken thigh, crispy pork belly basil, and the Steamed seafood in fresh whole coconut. Honestly my all time favorite authentic Thai place in Brooklyn. Just walking down the street you can smell how amazing this place is, been here more then a dozen times! For an app go with the Poh Pai Tod (fried veggie spring rolls) the best spring rolls I have ever had. The filling is always different veggies, very seasonal and you can tell they make them fresh. They always come out insanely crispy and hot without being greasy. A staple every time I come. I usually go with a noodle dish for my main, the Veggie Pad Thai is my favorite. If your in the area for lunch come here! They have a lunch set that comes in these little bowls that sit on top of each other, it comes with a soup, two crispy spring rolls and your entree of choice. Got takeout spring rolls and khasoi which is a coconut noodle soup. The spring rolls were crispy and flavorful. The soup was also very flavorful with pickled vegetables hard boiled egg noodles and I ordered chicken so it had a chicken leg. I would've preferred cut up chicken in the soup, but that's how they do it. It's a very busy restaurant with very few seats so take out is probably the better route. Was a little disappointed - the flavors were lackluster though did get the job done. This was my second and last time coming to this place. The food and drinks are below average at best but I am giving this the lowest score because my partner and I were served smaller portions than our non-Asian counterparts around us. We paid the same amount as anyone else but we get served the smaller portion. This is unacceptable. Now for the food. The green papaya salad is a staple of Thai and Lao cuisine but the green papaya salad from Jintana's did not even come close. (Screenshot below were the actual portions served to us.) The pad see ew dish was over loaded with either vinegar or tamarind as it gave me a heartburn at the end. The massaman (beef) short ribs curry were disappointing; in the description it stated that the short ribs were slow cooked in their curry but the presentation and taste says otherwise. Delightful addition to the neighborhood, incredibly fresh, high quality, elevated Thai food. We split several dishes which were each remarkably diverse yet incredibly complex and flavorful. Whether as a starter or a healthy light entree, the Rainbow Rice Salad--with blue rice mixed with assorted options such as grapefruit, purple cabbage, shredded coconut, lemongrass and bamboo shoots was both a visual and flavorful delight. The Khao Sol house specialty curry was incredibly complex, the curry with some nice heat at the end, the noodles terrific and the succulent chicken literally falling off the drumstick--could have eaten it all day, and hated that we had agreed to share. That wasn't even my highlight, though--the steamed fish prepared and served in a coconut shell (Hor Mok Talay) was so inventive and flavorful, literally stuffed with seafood. Maybe a touch heavy on the coconut, but then... I love coconut. They have only open for a couple of days, so still working out the service kinks--it was crowded and service a bit slow, with one dish coming out well before the others. It's hard for this New Yorker to let slow service go and not ding them a star, but the food was so high quality, and space so lovely I have complete faith, and can't wait to come back for more. I finally succumbed to my curiosity about this place today and stopped by for lunch and I'm glad I did. I ordered the Thai Pinto Lunch Set w/ Drunken Noodles (with tofu, no egg), coconut soup, and spring rolls. I'm vegan and they were really accommodating with swapping out animal flesh for tofu and removing the egg. Plus, they even let me get Drunken Noodles which weren't even on the lunch menu The outdoor seating set up was really nice and the food was served astonishingly quickly - probably in less than 10 minutes and all 3 courses arrived in a stack of lidded ceramic bowls which was extremely convenient because I could choose to keep whichever dish I wanted hot without waiting for anything else to arrive. The servings were on the small side which was perfect actually and still a great value for about $15. All the food was fresh and the service was very friendly and attentive. I always am down to check out highly-reviewed Thai restaurants in Brooklyn! My friend and I arrived at Jintana Thai Farmhouse around 7pm on a Saturday. For the location, I was surprised that it was pretty busy. The front of the house has a small seating area, but when I went to use the bathroom in the back, there are tables there and outside! We got lucky and a table opened up right when we arrived, but they started taking reservations, so try to make one if you can. I ordered the khao soi ($14) and my friend ordered massaman short ribs curry ($20). The khao soi had a slightly above-average presentation, and the curry had an average presentation. As other people noted in their reviews, Jintana does a fantastic job with flavor. As soon as the khao soi was brought to the table, I could smell the wonderful aromas from the spices. Both curry broths were delicious, but nothing out of this world. The beef in my friend's curry was cooked well and was soft and juicy. The only low-point of my meal was that the drumstick did not have good flavor and was dry. To compensate for this, I broke it up and soaked it in the curry. Pricing is slightly overpriced, but competitive with other Thai places in the area. My one issue at Jintana is that they have awful customer service. However, I understand that they are still a new business, so I can forgive it once. Our food took over twenty minutes to come out. In addition, there was little attention to our waters, although they did do one check back. Also, they took a ridiculously long time to bring us the check and then process it. I understand that they need to turn tables quickly, and we waited about a half hour just to get the bill and to pay it, which they could have used to seat another party. Overall, I did like the food here, but unless the service is improved, I would prefer to go somewhere else with better service. read more
