Korean BBQ meat! Short rib, pork belly pork bulgogi

If you're looking for a great hot pot place, this is the one! Not only was the food amazing, the customer service was even better! They made you feel so welcome with everything from the greeting to the check! We had a birthday in our group and our waitress Ms. Amy shared a sweet treat with a candle to the table which made a wonderful surprise. Highly recommended you will be paying for quality food and superb hospitality!

What a fun experience I did the lunch BBQ and it was delicious. The marinated meats were fabulous I did lemongrass and the marinated pork bulgogi. If you love pork belly like I do the three choices: plain, lemongrass and garlic were perfect. The appetizer was spring rolls and they were cooked perfectly. They have a large number of sauces from spicy to mild and sweet chile for the spring rolls. They explain the process and how you choose BBQ or hot pot or both. Service was excellent and my waitress kept checking on me. Will be back again

I can't rave enough about this restaurant in Bluffton called A9 Hot Pot. So good! They had a great selection for hot pot and Korean BBQ. Service was great too!

Everyone in their life should try Korean bbq at least once. It really is an experience. It's a cute little restaurant with awesome women that help you every step of the way. It's great because you get to cook your food to your liking and you have all kinds of different sides to go with it. Can't wait for the next time to stop by again. Bring your kids, they will definitely love it.

So good! We got hot pot. The shumai and spring rolls were very tasty. My second bowl I just got shumai. We are planning our next visit. I love the variety they have. There were a few comments about the price. But if you break it down, $35 a person is not bad.

Great service, friendly staff that was able to answer any question. The food was awesome. All you could eat flavorful meats, with a buffet of veggies and appetizers. A full array of sauces to mix and match, or use one of their pre-made ones. We will definitely be back to try the rest of the menu.

Me and all three kids loved it! Came at 7:20. They were kind enough to stay open past 8:00 closing time for us to finish. Entire experience was so fun between grilling your own meat and cooking your own meat and vegetables in a broth of your choice. I highly recommend this experience. Definitely a change from Southern food.

Our neighbors (Trinh & Brian) took us out to their favorite Korean BBQ restaurant & now it is also ours! From the moment we walked into the restaurant, we knew it was special. The ambience, the decor, the lighting, the cleanliness - wonderfully impressive. And the star of the show - the selection of some of the freshest meats, fish, vegetables, sauces & condiments I have ever seen! A never - ending buffet of the most delicious steak, pork, chicken, shrimp, scallops, crab, oysters, lamb, vegetables, too many items to list. THE BEST restaurant we've been to since moving here from Chicago. Thank you MINH, your restaurant is AMAZING!!

We had a chance to visit 912 Korean BBQ and hot pot last weekend. We were looking for something…read morecasual but filling for dinner and because we had not tried out this place yet but had driven by several times, we decided to check it out. Definitely a great decision on a hunch. This is an all you can eat hot pot concept and frankly my first time attending this version. While I have visited hibachi restaurants in the past, this is not that. Basically this is a dual table side prep concept where you can either make your own custom soups and broths, and hot pot seafood or you can select the grill and grill of a variety of fresh meats and fish and vegetables, or you can get both. Both come with a small dessert bar and seem to be accompanied with the additional Fresh salad and sauce bar, although I'm not quite sure if one of those may have been restricted if you did the grill only or the hot pot only. Pricing is pretty fair at about $30 a person which rises to mid 30s if you decide to get both options. We went with the combo because we had never tried this concept before, but in the future, I may lean more towards the grill option only. Especially if I'm not in the mood for hot pot or soup. But I definitely enjoyed the combination choice for our first visit. The meat and vegetable selections at this restaurant are pretty vast and this is after the server first sets you up and allows you to pick from several different types of broth for your hot pot. In addition, they have a sauce bar that must've had 20+ sauces available to choose from. I think one of the most overwhelming aspects of this concept is lack of familiarity with the right combinations of hot pot and grilled options. For this we leaned heavily on our server and she did a great job of guiding us through a couple of her favorite combinations, as well as some of the favorite combinations of other patrons. This was really helpful because there isn't a menu or chart to help you unlock all of the really cool combinations that you can put together including Ramen udon and Thai soup varieties. All of the ingredients you need to make any of those dishes, but in your own customize version, are here to your heart's desire. Service is really good as they do switch out the grills rather rapidly as they will get charred and start to burn and smoke after three or four rounds of fresh meats and veggies slapped on them. However, they do not switch out your broth choice so once you make your choice, that's what you're rolling with for the rest of the dinner. All in all we were really satisfied with the freshness and the preparation of most of the ingredients and sauces. I did think the dessert bar was a little weak given the multitude of options elsewhere, but I also understand that this is consistent with the cultural preferences, which don't skew as heavy on traditional sweets, like American taste do. All in all this is definitely a treat for those looking for a great date night or just looking to take the family out for a really engaging and tasty cook at your table experience - all you can eat style!

Service, though busy, was very attentive. Just a quick wave of the hand and they were in motion. Very professional and represented their establishment well. The in table grill was not the best I've seen, I prefer a mesh grate that allows more of the flame to directly touch the meat, but it worked well enough once we cranked up the heat to get some caramelization. My coworker had never had KB so we went simple with the Bulgagi beef and pork. The beef was very good, but the pork was outstanding. Both were expertly prepped in paper thin, small slices just big enough to make them easy to cook but not so big you spent a lot of time with the scissors. Wonderfully seasoned, these two items alone would make a destination menu. Broth cabbage and cucumber kimchi were on point, well spiced and the perfect textures. Daikon radish was very good as well, crisp and the perfect balance between sweet and sour. Well worth the price, excellent quality and flavors, very good service....you won't be sorry you chose Bewon.

The restaurant is decided into a lower and upper dining room. The lower dining room is for if you plan to order off the main menu. We opted for the upstairs dining room (make a reservation) for my birthday celebration. You are still able to order things off the main menu as well even if you plan to do the Korean bbq option. We tried their duck skewer and wings as an appetizer. Both were delicious! The duck was tender and savory. The wings were spicy and super unique! For dinner we did the Korean bbq where we cooked THE BEST wagyu filet mignon and fresh scallops on our personal table wok! This is such a fun date night. They give you a bunch of veggies and traditional Japanese sides to pair your meats with, including an array of homemade sauces - however, the meat/seafood was so good on its own we didn't even want to tamper the meat with the sauces! Cocktails were tasty too! You really can't go wrong with this place. Oh! And did I mention they gave me a delicious dessert for my birthday and sang happy birthday to me (:
