I explained he could have called and asked me for deposit again as a cash offer of 17k was looming. Overall he' is unorthodox car salesman, but asking people to put 500 down, not knowing anything about financing is a weird business practice. If it was partially or fully refundable I would have done it. But Ahmed , as most capitalists are self-serving. Bring cash or else.
