Absolutely adore this coffee shop. They are a little out of the way of the main strip of Oceanside so I feel like they don't get as much love as they deserve. But they make absolutely amazing oat milk lattes where the milk is still frothy and that's hard to do with nut milks (ha). The ordering station is a bit different considering it's right in the doorway so it's kind of a "are you guys open for sitting?" And they answer your question... and once you're inside it's such a cute cafe. They have a wall of great books and lots of comfy seating for some reading downtime. My favorite coffee shop in Oceanside! Their coffee is so good, especially compared to most of the other shops in the area. The matcha wasn't very flavorful, but their lattes and cold brew are great. Funny enough, we have been here a handful of times and not once have we tried their coffee. We go strictly for their vegan breakfast and it hits the spot every single time. The Triple B and O'side Sunrizo breakfast burritos are on point. I have also had the Good Old Daze which is a vegan breakfast sandwich. They have vegan cheese, vegan egg, and meat subs that don't skimp on portions or flavors. The service is always nice as well. We've never sat in, just ordered for pick up. But this is our place for breakfast when in Oceanside! read more

My daughter and I attended the grand re-opening last Saturday. We were fortunate to be the last two customers in line before they closed for the day and we even got to meet Jason Miraz !!! Writing this review as I sit in this adorable coffee shop. I found this place on Google just looking for a quick pastry while I'm in town for work and it did not disappoint! The shop itself isn't giant but there is so much seating along with a cute little couch area AND a bar top which I love. I got a Mexican mocha with oat milk and it is amaaaazing, alone with some sort of sausage and egg pastry which was a bit salty but otherwise delicious. This place kind of smells like fart when you walk by it. They did a remodel a few months back and even before they did the remodel I could smell fart from them. The owner is disgusting. She talks about her toenail infection in front of customer is very loudly. She will also try to take your dogs water bowl away to give to some good looking guys that come in with their dogs when they don't even ask for water The owner is super weird and the service there is really terrible and super timid employees. I originally asked for my food to eat at the restaurant, but I got it to go and left it on the street for a bum to get. Anyone who talks about an ingrown toenail in front of a few customers while also being rude is not a place that I would ever want to eat at - disgusting. read more

It's a shame to see and experience how this coffee shop treats its customers, especially locals. I'm confident it's not everyone but it's such a reoccurring issue by the same person. We lose bagby's, break water, masters, Cabo, and the list goes on. I hope management/ownership can make a solid adjustment and read what people are tryin to tell you. I hope a change can happen and it doesn't end up on the small business obituary page that has become lengthy in Oceanside. SERVICE REVIEW: My gf and I walk every weekend and have now started coffee comparing. Today, we walked into Jitters to see what their menu looked like. We had been walking for about 45 minutes and I politely asked if I could use their restroom. The elderly lady that we were talking to suddenly changed her attitude towards me and reluctantly told me "yes". My friend stayed at the counter and reviewed the menu. When I came out of the restroom she rudely yelled across to me and asked if I was going to buy anything. At that point I received another bad vibe from her and told her that I was not (not now after the attitude...but didn't say that). She yelled out a big "OOHHH!". As a family of 4 with 2 young adults and one 4 year old it's hard to agree on a place to eat and add being vegan to the mix we're in trouble! I'm so grateful we found this place!! The only thing that makes me hesitant to give this place 5 stars was the price (for example- unmarked prices for vegan donuts, and one donut was $7) and the time it took for our order (over 30 minutes for two breakfast items and two drinks). My husband and I had a lovely meal with our dog, and we plan to return next time we're in the area. This is the first dog-friendly restaurant I've been to and I'm grateful that the owners/management are so welcoming to all! read more

Driving down to San Diego for the weekend and felt the need for some coffee and found Jitters on Yelp! Once again Yelp comes thru!! This place was the perfect place for a pitstop. Great coffee, great atmosphere, it looks and feels like a real coffee shop. There are lots of different seating options from sofas to big work tables. The staff are all very friendly and the place is dog friendly :) We had a Cappuccino & a White Lightening. The Cappuccino was good but the White Lightening was OMG great. We also had the coffee cake which was very good. All in all, a great experience and just the boost I needed to get back on the road. I'll definitely be back next time I'm in town :) read more

Let me begin by saying the 4 reflects because I did not get the opportunity to get the sit in experience. So this is for me to go back and give the full five-star experience. I had the chance to speak to Vallie, the owner, and she is lovely. This quaint little coffee pub gave off amazing vibes where you want to come here hang out and try all the baked goods you can. The muffin I had (to be honest I'm just the blueberry and chocolate chip type of gal) was different but delicious. You can tell there was love in it -- super soft, moist, and just leaves you wanting more. I wanted to try something different when it came to the tea. I wasn't a huge fan of the Pomegranate but I'll definitely be back. I was super intrigued by the bookcase inside and I have to try more of the in-house baked goods. Wow! This place was such a gem! We ended up here because it was close to our hotel not knowing it was vegan (which I am) and it was just meant to be I guess! The coffee is so good and the food is phenomenal! My significant other is not vegan and was blown away. The environment is cozy and so friendly. Like I said, what a gem! Coffee was amazing and the pastries are out of this world! They roast their own coffee beans and make the pastries in house. The staff is very friendly and welcoming.
