Super fun sports bar type of bar / restaurant Soft opening this week so we had to try it They have an extensive wing menu (2 pages long) with tons of u interesting flavors and levels of heat The wings come in a stainless steel bowl with sauce on top . A bit odd is if you want dip for your wings such as ranch or blue cheese you have to pay a separate charge My son enjoyed his burger very much it was huge for being a "mini" fries come as a side in their own bowl Salad was a salad this is not a salad place They have an extensive bar menu too Lots of televisions with sports on Also have a small game Room for kiddos Service was good waitress were very attentive Parking lot has ample spaces available They take credit card

Large Portion, kids chicken tenders and big bowl of fries.

This place is so amazing. Perfect spot for this side of town. Food was amazing and plenty of servers to go around. Joe and his family did an amazing job with this place. A must visit for Newtown

No. Just no. Poorly cooked chicken wings. Horrendous blue cheese. Wings were overcooked. Blue cheese tasted like mayonnaise.

Lots of specials that change weekly. It's dark inside with lots of great decor and memorabilia. The employees were friendly and helpful. They offer homemade limoncello. Events during the week like trivia night, karaoke and bingo. There is the main entrance and a takeout entry on opposite ends of the parking lot. The burgers were really good. I got the chile burgeritto. The chile was very good and had no beans in it. The chopped onions go great with it. The fries were good, but very salty. We also got the fries with gravy and cheese. Those didn't have as much salt and were great. The onion rings were just ok, nothing special. I definitely had a good first experience.

Took the kids, they got the cheeseburgerritto and the chili chicken ritto I got the steak and cheese then we shared a buffalo chicken Mac and cheese. We all agreed the Mac and cheese was close to perfect.. and that's saying a lot. It's not fancy but it's well made, not from A box and they use quality cheese and the pasta is cooked well, just firm enough to hold the cheese and the Buffalo chicken was very tasty We all enjoyed the "rittos" my steak an cheese was one of the best I've had in years.. fries are good, I'm not a fry person but they seemed fresh, cooked and seasoned well. Pickles were tasty, not made in-house although I'll bet they could if they wanted to. But still a very solid pickle. The waitress was very polite, professional and helpful. It was A very cold day and I really wanted coffee and she acted like it was not a big deal to make a pot for me. I'm positive it took some extra work on her part and I appreciated it very much. Solid place, good food, decorated w fun stuff, good People. I know it's part bar but it was a really good outing to eat w the kids Thank you

Went here for the first time, and am probably wavering between a 3.5 and a 4 -- but rounded up to 4…read morebecause of our lovely server, Louie. My friend and I both had burgers, which were delicious -- but what were REALLY awesome were the french fries. Slim, perfectly cooked and salted -- hoo mama. Other reviewers have mentioned that the menu has more of an Asian influence -- this continues to be true, and in fact, when we return I'd like to try some of those more specifically Asian or Asian-inspired dishes. One thing I perceived, though, was that the pickles on the burger were brined in something that tasted almost seafood-y -- I'm allergic so I don't think it was actual fish sauce or something, but something that gave it a slight fishy taste, like when you have seaweed. Anyway, that was the only thing I didn't care for -- but it didn't bother me enough to not want to try again! We loved the ambience and the location was also super convenient with free parking in the back. I'll update my review after my next visit!

3.5 stars We were on…read moreour way home from a road trip and were looking for a great lunch spot on our route, when we came across Foundry Kitchen and Tavern, which was located in the quaint town of Sandy Hook. As we drove through the village, we saw the restaurant on our left-hand side. It was housed in a historical brick building with a sprawling deck overlooking the Pootatuk River. It was a beautifully sunny day, so I immediately suggested that we dine outside. Unfortunately for us, the part of the balcony that was covered and offering live acoustic music was completely full. That meant that we were seated on the far edge of the patio with no shield from the strong sun or any ability to hear the tunes. In addition to the unideal seating, the food took a very long time to arrive, so I just sat there roasting. The server offered to move us inside, but we stuck it out for the view. I had ordered the Fattoush Salad with Chicken. The Mediterranean bowl included mixed greens, tomatoes, cucumbers, feta, kalamata olives, and fried naan croutons, though I had omitted the red onion that was also supposed to be in the blend. I had asked for the red wine vinaigrette on the side and wound up not using much of it. The salad was fresh and tasty, but the chicken had an odd preparation. It was not grilled (like I would have hoped for a healthy salad topper) and not deep-fried, but was roasted or pan-fried or something, which I had not expected. It had a crispy skin, but remained reasonably tender at least. I also grabbed a few of my partner's fries, which were excellent. After we wrapped up the meal, I stopped inside to cool off and use the facilities, which consisted of a singular, unisex bathroom in the corner of the rustic dining room. There was a bit of a line, and they could certainly have benefitted from additional restrooms. I really did like the antique atmosphere at Foundry Kitchen and Tavern, but I think that the heat just made the experience a bit challenging for me. I would definitely consider returning, but would be more diligent in my seating and food selections.

Today I ordered steak frites which is usually my Go To. Normally seared and seasoned beautifully with a medium center. Today was not seasoned at all, no sear to speak of and well done. I sent it back and our server advised us that they got a new kitchen staff. The second steak took 30 min and again was not seasoned, over cooked and grey. Extremely disappointing. And the serving of steak was half of what it had been. If this is the way they are going to move forward with the food I don't see good things for market place. On top of the steak. My wife ordered the buffalo chicken salad. The cutlet was cooked to death, black and dry. Not what we have come to expect from this place. I hope they can sort it out!
