The worst customer service ever! My family and I were visiting from LA and it's first come first served. We were told there aren't any tables so we ordered to go. The lady at the front desk was extremely rude and gave a table to someone else while we were waiting. We asked why weren't we able to get this table, we've been waiting ? Have gone here a few times with a friend. I would rate their food about average. This place is pretty packed so maybe it's just me but the food is very greasy and leaves a after taste. This review is based on 3 different trips. My first trip was unplanned as I was looking for a place to cater food for a party. Yelp brought me here and I ordered chicken Kabab paratha roll to test out the food and was super pleasantly surprised by the warm paratha roll with fresh green vegetables and the red sauce. I ended up placing a large order for two boneless chicken biryani trays ($90 each), 25 Chicken kabab rolls and 25 beef kabab rolls. They charge you the same price per roll whether you order 1 or a 100 so unfortunately there is no gold member treatment. I felt a little underwhelmed as I felt nickle and dimed for extra sauce etc. The paratha rolls and the biryani were super big hits at our party which solved any negative feelings around paying for extra sauce (they charge $4.99 for an extra container of sauce). It is not a lot of money when you are placing a large order but these little things can go a long way in making the customer feel a little special. Trip 3, I went back with some family members and called in advance as they do make everything fresh that can result in some wait time. This worked out well as our food was out in 5 mins. The parathas were just as warm and fresh as the last two times. The fresh vegetables in their warm rolls really do make a positive difference. Paneer Tikka Masalala: It was Paneer butter masala, I don't know why they say Tikka Masala. The taste was OK. Dal Fry: It was OK, nothing out of the park They serve HUGE Rotis and Parathas so beware before you order more. We did not know that, also their quantity is real good too. So, keep that in mind! My brother and I love their faloodas - to the extend that we will drive in just for that! Service is always friendly and prompt. Tea is not an item they keep ready for lunch hour - however, at my request they impromptu provided me with one - thats what is appreciated! I ordered butter chicken and a drink and sat down (no one else was in the dining room) My Butter Chicken came out and I took 2-3 bites and pushed it and the nasty oily nan to the side. That is the 2nd time I'd gotten Butter Chicken and it was salty. I had gotten the same flavor at Saras in their Butter Chicken and I've never been back. I won't be coming back here either. This is by far my favorite Indian/paki restaurant I've been to. Every item that my group ordered was amazing which is extremely rare for a restaurant to pull off. They really know how to cook their meat. Each entree comes with salad, rice and your choice of paratha or chapathi. I personally like the paratha better. My personal favorite entree is the butter chicken -- it's not on their printed out menus that they give you but it's on their daily special menu on their counter. Came here on a whim and good yelp reviews. Asked for any non spicy dishes since my daughter and I aren't into spice food. They recommended the chicken kabob and tandoori chicken that they can make non spicy. Ummm wrong it was still spicy but at the same time tasty so we weren't complaining. The chicken wasn't an actual piece of chicken that I'm used to having for a kabob, rather it was some type of chicken meatloaf. It came with a somewhat sweet small salad and pharata bread and basmati rice. The tandoori chicken was actual pieces of chicken with same sides. They were both tasty but I definitely preferred the tandoori with non processed meat. Service was good and prices were ok for the amount of food given. We ordered chicken boti with rice and paratha on the side, a seekh kabab wrap deconstructed (kabab on a bed of lettuce), and a side salad. FYI they do not have kids' menus. Luckily, my 3 yo daughter likes rice and chicken, and the 8 mo is still on milk . The food took about 30 minutes to come out, but everything was fresh and hot. The raita and sauces that came with our food were yummy. My mom enjoyed her chicken boti and I thought the seekh kabab was flavorful, but could've used some more spice. Horrible experience... ordered through uber eats, wrong order was delivered. Alright it happens... and everyone's human in this crisis... contacted uber eats and the manager at JK asked us to come over to pick up the right order, albeit some heated exchange. Point to note, my wife works at a restaurant and she knows the underpinnings in working with uber eats, for a delivery issue (which apparently was the case here, there is remediation and very much fair). So, back to the main issue, we go there after 30 minutes (as asked by the manager) and we return the wrong order, we are people of faith and we don't accept what we don't need and deserve... and the staff totally refused to acknowledge and goes back on their word... (they kept the retuned food, which was 50% of the order value) totally unprofessional. They cancelled our order and we have to fight this out with the credit card company and uber eats.. I ordered home delivery as I have a sprained ankle, can barely walk, still had to drive and check for pick up as promised by this establishment... gotta feed kids and sadly ended up with no food and had to scramble for Mac and cheese through the nearest Jewel Osco... very sad and hope this doesn't happen to anyone else. read more

The food is excellent! BUT they tend to not be open when they are supposed to be and that's very frustrating. I have gone there with a small group of co workers twice in the last month or two and they were closed. The first time we arrived around 1140 (they say they open at 11) and they were still closed. The second time we went there at 1155 and they were still not open! We drove by an hour later (after eating elsewhere) and they were open. read more

Fresh, authentic Pakistani food. Portions are huge, except for rasmali, which should be more quantity for the price point. My boyfriend picked up takeout at this new-to-us joint last night. I had the chili chicken and he got the frontier chicken. My chili chicken was delicious, spicy and so tender, but the frontier chicken was truly out of this world. He got the frontier chicken bowl, which just came with the meat and vegetables it was cooked with (and maybe some onions on top), which was perfect for him since he's keto/low carb. I had mine with rice, salad and paratha, but would totally try a wrap next time. The paratha is very yummy! The portion of chicken was generous so I was able to make a second meal out of it by just cooking up a bit of extra rice. Delicious! Can't wait to have it again. read more
