My mother called this company based off the reviews and I was not disappointed! The plumber came out and fixed my sewer issues very quickly and was very clean in doing his work. He explained the problem which was roots in my sewer line. He even explained that we shouldn't worry yet but wait to see if the problem happens again in a few months and if not then it's very easy to clean the roots every couple of years instead of spending a lot of money to fix the sewer line. A couple =months ago we used a different plumber and this company was 10 times better. We are planning on using them again for our plumbing needs and I can't praise them enough! Based on the reviews here, I called Kirill when faced with a very badly plugged up sink. I was not disappointed! Not only did he return my call almost instantaneously but he showed up exactly when promised. We moved into our 1950's home almost a year ago knowing that there were quite a few plumbing related items that needed to be changed so I asked a lot of questions to try to get his input on what to do. Kirill was helpful and honest even when suggesting that I not spend the money to change things immediately. He also gave us a lot of tips on how to prevent our drain from having any problems in the future. I really appreciated his input and advice and to top it all off the cost of fixing our drain was beyond reasonable. When he finished the job, he cleaned everything up and wiped down what could've been left as a soggy mess. Don't Bother with Drain-o! Faster & Cheaper than the top Yelped Plumbers! I called 5 top Yelp rated Plumbers to get minimum rates and availability for today. They ranged from $145-105 but no one could get here faster than 3 hours. Mind you, this wasn't an emergency but when I called JK the price was $85 minimum and he was here within 30 min. The clog was 15-20 feet into the pipes so it took about that long for him to get the rooter thing that far in. He cleaned up nicely when he was done and mentioned that the pipes are greasy and would benefit from 1/2 a bottle of Drain-o. Thank you Sir! read more

I worked with this plumber in the past and he was efficient and professional. I was replacing my toilet and ran into problems due to the specialty size required. Kirill was very accommodating and was able to get everything done well and quickly. I just figured he would be my go-to plumber from now on. Unfortunately, this is not the case. When a pipe burst in front of my house last week, I immediately called JK for help. He told me he was too busy and would not have time to come assess. When I asked for a recommendation of anyone else he knew, he very nonchalantly told me he had no referrals. Obviously, I'm disappointed. I get being busy and I'm glad to see that things are going well, he's earned it. But, I feel that a repeat customer with an emergency warrants a bit of shuffling around of your schedule. This is an updated review. I recently had a problem with a slow sink. I called and he was out to my house in under an hour. He quickly diagnosed the problem and showed me how to fix the problem in the future. I was also glad for the work Krill did 2 -3 years ago to install a new laundry sink, update plumbing for a new washer and dryer, and improve the drain for all. I was thankful to use the new(ish) laundry sink, while the kitchen was being remodeled! Krill is responsive, courteous, and professional. read more

We had a short list of annoying little plumbing jobs that we're too stupid/inept to handle. Plumbing is not in our skill set. Kiril was flexible, arranged to come at a time that worked for us, and arrived right on time. He was personable and professional, explained our options, when and where we had them, then finished all three jobs in an hour, explained what he'd done, provided a thirty-day warrantee on his work, and was on his way. RIP OFF, you can repair your own leaky faucets I'll tell you how. About a year ago I had a leaky bathtub faucet and called these guys up to come out. Yeah he was friendly and yeah he was knowledgable and yes he did fix the problem. He must have spent 15 - 20 minutes and changed parts on my hot water faucet stem which probably cost around a few dollars at most. In the end I was charged a total of $145. YIKES! A year later the faucet started to leak again (this time it was cold water handle side) and I decided to do it myself by browsing utube. I must have spent a few dollars for a new washer and seat. I also had to purchase a seat remover tool which costed me around $16 at Lowes. If you have a leaking bathtub faucet it is most likely due to a problem with a bad washer on the faucet stem and a corroded seat. But it's REALLY simple to fix, it's not rocket science and it sure as hell doesn't cost $145. I had a clog somewhere deep in the pipe of a bathroom sink. I tried the "green" approach of using baking soda and vinegar, using a plunger, and snaking the drain myself before I went to the nuclear option of pouring bottle of Drano down the drain. None of that worked so I gave JK Plumbing a call. He showed up right on time and was literally here for ten minutes and fixed the clog using a professional auger (much better than the $10 snake I was using). The price was reasonable when compared to the amount of time and materials I used trying unsuccessfully to fix the problem myself. He kept the work area clean by laying down a towel and cleaned up the sink afterwards. If I had any complaints it would be that his clothes smelled of cigarette smoke. That's not a huge deal since I'm not very sensitive to it. Will I call JK Plumbing again if I have another plumbing problem? You bet. read more

JK has done work for me six times over the past three years on various plumbing problems and on each occasion Kirill has been prompt in responding to our house (often within 30 minutes) and has quickly diagnosed and solved the problem. Today, I had a hot water problem and he was at our house within 15 minutes. He immediately diagnosed the problem and solved it within an hour. His rates are very reasonable and on a couple of occassions when the problem was so simple he charged me only $20. Kirrill has just saved us once again. We came home from a trip yesterday and found a light on in our basement bathroom. We also found a bubbling patch on the ceiling. I took a broom handle and tapped on the ceiling (which immediately crumbled) while my husband went to the bathroom above to see if the tapping was near the toilet. It was. It was Friday afternoon, so we didn't expect to get help on the weekend. We were wrong! Kirrill said he would come the next morning at 8:30, before another job he was doing. He investigated and found that the problem was coming from the Lo Boy toilet above. It's a very heavy toilet but he removed it and fixed it. Kirill came out in response to a request to my homeowner insurance. We had a blocked drain. He had it cleared in less than 10 minutes. While he was here, I did, of course, ask him to bid on some work I wanted to get done. I needed a gas line run to a dryer and one set up for a stove. He quoted me $385. This was $200 lower than the other two companies I called. Since he did a good job with the drain, and seemed very pleasant, I decided to go with him. I could not be happier. He got the work done in about 3 hours. The other contractors quoted that it would take 6 to 7 hours. It was an easy job (easy access to all areas). There is a slight gas leak to the dryer, he will be here later today to sort that out. Highly recommended. read more
