I also tried their avocado tuna taco, and those were a bit weird. The flavors and texture weren't it for me. The inside was kind of mushy, but it did have a hint of yuzu sauce, which made it tolerable. Next, I tried the gumbo with cornbread, and the cornbread with the gumbo was a game changer. It definitely kicked it up a notch. The gumbo didn't have very strong flavors like other gumbos, but I still enjoyed it. Then I tried the fish and chips. The fish was cooked crispy to my liking, and the portion size was decent. However, the fries were a bit too hard and tasted a little stale. The oysters were the last thing I tried and they were pretty decent my favorite was the easy coasts ones. My only complaint with them were the shell some pieces of shell ended up in the meat portion. It wasn't till after I got a paper receipt did I see they added 20%. Sorry but serving water to all customers is not a valid reason to add 20% gratuity to the check. I still tipped an additional 12%. For a slow service on a slow night, drinks were slow getting out, over slow. Food I enjoyed. Reminded me of my time in the Navy stationed in Hawaii. Be aware of the 20% tip added automatically.
